A young doctor with a weakness for pretty faces returns to Japan after studying abroad in the USA and joins the staff of one of the best hospitals around. There he finds himself facing off with an icy-cold co-worker who's nearly as pretty as he is unapproachable.
The art is really beautiful, as expected from the illustrator, Koide Mieko-sensei.
The ice princess Natsumi, the bishounen, is sooo beautiful especially his eyes...and his smile...OMG...totally swoon me. *hearteyes* I can easily pictured Jaejoong as him, hihihi. *Ah, but JJ is not so androgynous and gorgeous anymore now that he's in the army, yes he's so masculine and manly now with his newly gain muscles and military haircut... T___T but I love him nonetheless, hihihi*
Masataka is good looking too, and I love his personality. I thought he's womanizer at first, lol, or some annoying over-confident brat, but actually he's much more than meets the eye. :)
Masumi is a great guy, although I disliked him at first but in the end I could sympathize with him and hope he can find his significant other soon. He's too conditioned with the idea that Natsumi will be beside him forever and ever (he's a guard dog for 20 years FFS!) that he had never consider to let other people inside his heart, he's strongly believe Natsumi will love him as a man. So I really hope I can see him find his own happiness in the end, in a spin-off, that unfortunately doesn't exist yet. T__T
Anyway, I'm not medical student but the amount of detail in surgical/medical procedures in this manga really impressed me. Two thumbs up for the author, Sunohara-sensei. :) Although I mostly skimmed it when they started the medical discussion, but really, it's made the story felt more realistic and believable. The plot is simple and cliche, but it's one good manga. :)
