In this book are fun activities and tips to help kiddos become readers who will enjoy reading. I picked to that are important to me and I hope important to you and yours.
Tip 40. Play "I spy with my little eye" using letters. This can be done by reading books together and in daily life by looking at store signs and cereal boxes.
Tip 60. Encourage your kiddo to predict the end of the story. We're they right?
The illustrations in this book are all characters in books they have read or could read.

One Question

Lots of helpful hints... But what about when your child prefers to make up their own story, completely bypassing the book you're trying to read with them? Some of these tips promote that... Only then, the child isn't even trying to read!
