Mystery Writer living in Key West, Florida. A member of MWA and ITA and PWA. Short story, Vampire Slayer Murdered in Key West, was nominated for a best short story of 2012 for a Shamus Award. He has seven books in his Mick Murphy Key West Mystery series.
Haskins worked as the business editor/writer for the local Key West daily and then as the public information officer for the city, all of which has enriched his understanding of how Key West functions.

Several nice Mick Murphy stories set in Key West. Murder in Key West does a great job of telling the early story of Murphy in the Conch Republic, serving as the beginning of the Murphy Key West books and a lead-in to the novel, Chasin' The Wind.

nice colection of short stories, and a good introduction to Mick Murphy. I do look forward to reading the Mick Murphy novels now!

o, and my favourite really was the Vampire Slayer tale... although I wonder what Padre Thomas meant with 'the evil will see you soon'....
