Very good book. I consider this a satire.
The beginning was very well-done, and I loved seeing the different perspectives in the family. However, as the story was nearing an end, it was trying too hard to be funny. I was expecting a more serious message as the story progressed. I mean, it touches upon important social issues, but I expected a more serious undertone using the humor. The beginning did that; we got to see the psychology of the wife, the husband, and the kids during a crisis. But, later on, the story focused more on the humor rather than the issue.
Not a big fan of the ending. Everything worked out too well.
