Mac is still trying to put the pieces of her life back together ever since her ex boyfriend fled the country with the contents of her bank account. Luke Summers, Hollywood heartthrob, literally slams into her life minutes after she's fired from her job as a writer on a sitcom. Luke is immediately drawn to Mac and begins to pursue her, but she feels like she's too much of a mess for anyone to take on. Will Luke be able to convince Mac to let down her guard and let him in? Will Mac surrender to Luke's dominant ways and let him help her put her life back together?
Catch a Falling Star is a romantic comedy featuring a strong, stubborn woman and the domineering movie star trying to capture her heart. It also includes a bit of spanking and some good sexy fun.
A nice blend of spanking romance, domestic discipline, and a hint of age play -- Mac is still a child in many ways. Give me a Greek Alpha Male any day. Luke is a Hollywood Star with strong leadership and responsible goals. His romance with Mac blooms into a lifetime commitment. Enjoyed the change of scenes from Hollywood to Greece to New York. A nice debut novel with spice, heart and spanks.
I took off one star for typos that hurt reader's flow. But are easy to fix in ebook edition. Hint. Hint.
This was a fun read, with great spankings and sex, a good plot, likeable characters, a little bit of drama, a DD overtone, and a Happily Ever After Ending.
This note-perfect contemporary romance follows the relationship that springs up between movie star, Luke Summers and down-on-her-luck Hollywood heiress, Molly 'Mac' Mackenzie, after they literally run into one another outside the elevator.
It's certainly love at first sight as far as Luke is concerned and although Mac is strongly attracted to Luke from the start, there are issues and complications in her life which make embarking on their relationship together, not as straightforward as it could be.
Over the course of the story, secrets are kept, trust is earned, feelings grow and Mac's bottom gets well and truly spanked. Luke proves to Mac that even if her life is falling apart, he's ready to catch her.
Altogether it's utterly lovely and incredibly romantic.
This was a great read. It's a full length fun, sexy romance with spankings. I liked the characters right from the start, both Mac and Luke behaved realistically, were three dimensional, 'real' people who had this great romance. The plot itself had dimensions and although the focus was the romance between Luke and Mac, the story around it was exciting. The spankings were sexy - the way they began was realistic, just a well written, really well written and edited book.
