One of the best poetry books I've ever read. I wish I could buy the book for all of my loved ones and for any poet or human out there, I wish it was more known, I wish I could translate his words and give it to people who would appreciate such beauty.
The metaphors are carefully placed, when you read Arabic poetry you get sick of how they misuse the idea of God in their pieces but him, he glorifies poetry by the idea of a God and writes it so, so brilliantly.
In the world of Arabic poetry, Mahmoud Darwish is famous with identifying you to yourself more than any writer out there but Mr.Omar has a piece in this book that dances at the same rate of Darwish's self reflecting pieces.
As a reader, tonight is beyond me, I keep rereading his words, I keep placing my fingertips on them, I feel so fortunate to be reading and swallowing such words.
