Just Good Friends is my debut book. Winning Back Ryan, a New Adult romance will be out July 30th. It's sequel, Getting Back Annie will be released shortly after. Office Perks a stand alone romance will be released October.

I live in NJ with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. I like going to diners on the weekend for inspiration, drink a pot of coffee a day, and hate referring to myself in the third person. I also have a university degree in sarcasm and enjoy using my smart mouth whenever an opportunity arises.

Winning Back Ryan caught my attention and interest just with the title. I LOVE the title! There are so many possibilities a book could go in with a title like Winning Back Ryan. I couldn’t wait to start and find out who this character Ryan is and why she must get him back.

Right away the drama begins in the book. Anne is coming home from work after a bad day at the office; all she is looking forward to is eating the ice cream that is melting away in her shopping bag and spending the night with her boyfriend of two years Ryan. Anne comes home to their New Jersey apartment and is met with a surprise… Ryan is having sex with another woman IN THEIR BED! Scum bag! Anne blames herself and turns to her four best friends for advice; her best friends all happen to all be male.

I really liked the idea of the story, but what I could never get passed was Anne blamed herself for Ryan being a cheater and cheating on her throughout their relationship. As soon as she catches Ryan in bed he immediately gives her a list of what is wrong with her and why he cheated. I immediately was rooting against them and hated the title because I didn’t want Anne to win back Ryan. I wanted her to kick him in the balls and spit in his face! Anne has never been with anyone else but Ryan and has low self esteem. He played off that their entire relationship.

Anne’s best friends are four guys who are completely different & fun. They are all there for Anne in their own way helping her get through the disaster that is her relationship with Ryan. Brian is her closest friend who met in college on a blind date. There is a strong connection between the two and it was pretty evident right away Brian has feelings for her and Anne is completely blind to them. I really liked their friendship; it was sweet and I liked that there was long build up before anything is even talked about involving their feelings. Just listening to Anne cry about Ryan was annoying because he is such a creep!

Ryan still plays a major part in Anne’s life after finding out he cheated. I liked that he still played a part in the story, not that I liked the guy but they were together for two years and lived together, he can’t just disappear from her life entirely. He comes clean about his real feelings toward the end involving Anne and Brian; not that I condone what he did but he should have talked to Anne before resulting to cheating.

The book was very well written, I enjoyed the characters but I was expecting a little more out of the story. Anne talks about her religious upbringing and her self esteem issues and I would have liked to have read more about it because really those two things are why she is with Ryan and wants to keep his cheating butt. It was pushed to the side and I wanted more out of that storyline.

I give Winning Back Ryan 3 Stars

Winning Back Ryan is a cross between Sex and the City and My Boys.

Just like any book, this one is definitely not for everyone. If you do not like reads about a woman, a little bruised after a bad relationship trying to find her feet again, then don't read this book.
If you don't like a book about a woman with loyal, sexy, wealthy male friends then don't pick this one up.
If books about the lines between friendship and love blurring isn't for you, skip this.
If you're not into hot/steamy love triangles don't read this book, and DEFINITELY don't read this series.

If you've ever had a broken heart or have been cheated on, then read on.
If you're looking for your next book boyfriend, read this story immediately; you'll find him amongst the pages of this novel.
If you love stories about fun nights with friends, recent college graduate stories, or stories about what to do after a break up read on.
Thanks for the support!

*Please take the blurb warning into consideration. If assault scenes upset you, don't read this!*

5 AMAZING STARS

I got this as a freebie, and it still is a freebie on Amazon Prime if you want to snatch it up. Most of the times freebies are a bust, but this one was a diamond in the rough. So glad I picked it up with all of my other TBR books waiting.

This is Annie's story.

Annie heads home after a tough day at work to the apartment that she shares with her boyfriend (Ryan), where she catches him cheating on her in the flesh. Devastated Annie asks him why he did it and he lists reasons for she "made him cheat".

This is what guys want, but you aren't: girls who care about their looks...girls who work out...girls who wear lingerie and like to be adventurous in bed ...most importantly, girls who don't surround themselves all with male friends

Can you say King of all Douchebags? Ryan -

Annie runs to her best friend of five years - Brian. The guy who was always there for her when she needed him.

Brian

Where she, get this, yes she did ( I read it and still can't believe it), tries to enlist his help to fix douchebag boyfriend's complaints mentioned above.

I need to lose the weight. I need to fix the other problems. Then he'll want me again

At this point I was furious with Annie.

Brian, who has been in love with Annie for the last 5 years of their friendship, eventually agrees to help her, hence the title "Winning Back Ryan".

Throughout Annie's escapades to try to win Ryan back and then eventually to get revenge, you meet Annie's three other male friends: George, Ben, and Max.

Annie also discovers Brian loves her, but has her own reservations about making the bridge between friends to lovers. The biggest being the possibility of ruining their relationship. They also have obstacles to overcome (histories, past mistakes, ex-boyfriends, jealousy, insecurities).

I can't lose you, Brian. What it felt like losing Ryan...It would be a million times worse if I lost you.

I LOVED THIS! The characters in this book were so real and I instantly connected with them. Great read and recommend it to anyone! The storyline was constantly moving and flowed effortlessly. Can't wait to read the next one in the series!

Nothing like a sweet dose of revenge. My interest has officially been piqued!

WOW! This book is absolutely a hot mess of awesome. This book has a little bit of everything for any type of reader. I absolutely loved it. I swear, if only the author had somehow added a zombie in a cowboy hat, I would have hit every check mark in my list of awesome additions for a story line.

Annie is an amazing lead. She's fabulously developed and has the most stunning character growth. Near the start of the book, I really wanted to slap her around. She seemed so weak, whining and pining over a complete jerk of a man that openly was cheating on her. Through her own path of empowerment, she turns herself into a complete ball busting, firecracker of a woman. I loved it!

Annie's friends are amazing! I'm so jealous! I could only dream of having some of these amazing men as friends. Brian and Ben are both worthy adversaries for her heart, but I have to admit, I was team Brian the entire way. Max! Oy! I loved him. He was such a great friend for Annie, being there when she couldn't go to Brian. Not to mention, every girl needs a gay friend.

This book is definitely on my top list of books for this year. Check it out!

I was sent an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.

This is the first book I've read from S.L. Siwik, but I will certainly be looking forward to the next books that she releases.

This story begins with Annie finding out that her boyfriend, Ryan, has cheated on her. Bastard! It appears that the book will be about the revenge that she will enact on him, but turns outs to be that and more. I won't spoil the plot, but will just say the book kept me interested, wondering what was going to happen next.

I really enjoyed the banter between Annie and her friends - all of which are swoony men. Hmm...Brian or Ben. I still can't decide who's swoonier...

I hope this is not the end of the story...

Have you ever come across a book that is almost impossible to gather your thoughts around? Well, that’s how I feel about Winning Back Ryan. It’s one of those stories that until you read it, it’s truly hard to determine if you’ll like it or not. In fact most of the story I disliked the main character but slowly as she revealed more and more of herself it was easy to understand why she made the decisions she did and how she came about them in the first place. I’ll admit the blurb pretty much sums up the whole story though, so if that alone is a turn-off then I suggest moving on.
description
I was sort of disappointed by the blurb. To me it makes the story seem a bit more exciting than it really was. The dramatic attempted rape scene doesn’t happen till the very end and most of the story consists of Anne whining about Ryan, the cheating scum who for some reason she wants back. I got this book for FREE and I’ll admit it was a steal. I’m not one for stories where the heroine is weak, spineless or even pines after the asshhole. But Anne was an endearing character. Having been raised in a stricter environment than most of us are accustomed to, she was determined to not screw up her life plans. Having given herself to Ryan and dedicated a portion of her life to their relationship walking away is not in her plans. And Lord help this girl because even when she walks into Ryan throwing an orgy in their apartment she still has a difficult time sorting her feelings. Where most of us would grab a knife after catching him the first time, she still can’t, no she won’t give up.
description
Anne’s friends don’t like Ryan, in fact its news to Anne when she finds out they never did. Instead they tolerated him for her sake. Her best friend Brian becomes a bigger shoulder for her to lean on than ever before. Eventually she begins to see Brian’s feelings for her but rather than betray Ryan and ruin her friendship she backs off. Of course Ryan is still in the background and once Anne begins to move on and let go, the ever present ex is back to cause more trouble.
description
There were many things I didn’t like about this story. More like actions of the characters. For instance when the truth of her friends betrayal and participation in Ryan’s cheating come into play. I can never understand why people have to do things so ridiculous and out of the ordinary when a simple conversation will suffice. I also was not on board with Anne’s plan to lure Ryan back in. Although this was an interesting concept for the story because though, I know personally, I would never try and regain the heart of someone who so carelessly stomped all over mine, there are many people out there as determined and strong-willed as Anne to not give up.
description
The writing and story overall was good. There are many serious issues tackled within the story and I thought that together they helped make it stronger and serve as a representation of each characters personality. I wish Anne could have found her own self-worth earlier on and moved on from Ryan right when he showed his true colors but alas, sometimes even the strongest of souls find it hard to give up on those they love, especially when you have so many years already invested with them. But I’ll be honest when push comes to shove, this girl will fight tooth and nail. Ryan better watch out because when she reaches her boiling point, there’s no simmer option for her. Fans of friends to lover relationships will enjoy this story. I will certainly read other work from this author and look forward to what other craziness she has in store for us.

Received an ARC for an honest review. 4.5 STARS!!

Annie comes home from a bad day at work one evening hoping to unwind and relax with her boyfriend Ryan. What she finds when she gets there is her boyfriend in bed with another woman. When Ryan realizes that he has been caught he tries to place the blame for his cheating on Annie. You don’t to care about your appearance, you are a couch potato and you never wear lingerie. His accusations make her angry but they have been together for 2 years and she believes that he is “the one” so she is hoping that if she changes she can win him back.

Annie seeks solace in her close knit group of friends, which happen to be all male. I absolutely loved the camaraderie between Annie, Ben, Max, George and Brian. Ben is an absolute riot. Almost every word that comes out of his mouth is dripping with sexual innuendo. Brian is Annie’s best friend and has been since NYU. It’s obvious from the get go that Brian has feelings for Annie that he has never acted on.

They all feel that it is best that Annie find alternative living arrangements to give her the space she needs to get over Ryan. Brian insists that she moves in with him, so he can help her with her plans to make Ryan jealous and show him what he’s missing out on.

Brian…I was pulling for him right from the start. I could tell by the author’s writing that there was more to Brian than what meets the eye. Brian is Annie’s go to person. He has been since college. He always seems to know how to make her smile and give her the comfort that she needs.

Although Brian and Annie did steal my heart, I did a soft spot for Ben. I mean who wouldn’t want a rich, good looking, successful, friend that would do anything and everything for you in an instant. He struck me as the overprotective big brother. But it was his personality that totally won me over. A straight shooter and so confident that you would think it would be normal to walk around in front of your closest friends naked and not even bat an eye.

I absolutely loved when the boys went lingerie shopping with Annie. Their drive to find the perfect outfit for Annie and outdo each other was comical. Their remarks were priceless.

When Annie discovers that Ryan’s cheating was more than a one-time thing, she is determined to make him pay. I enjoyed watching Annie come to terms with repressed feelings and the realization that she needed to start taking responsibility for herself and her happiness. Realizing that sometimes what you need is right in front of you but you are so caught up in what you think you want, that you just can’t see the obvious.

“Annie, you thought we were great as friends. I swear, it was just the beginning. I’m going to make you so happy…or die trying,” he said his lips hovering over mine.”

The story touched more on the unconditional love of these friends than getting revenge on Ryan. Although when all is said and done, it looks like Annie did get her revenge. This book was not my usual read but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely be adding the sequel, “Getting Back Annie” to my TBR list. So if you are looking for a good read about friendship and love be sure to pick up Winning Back Ryan and enjoy.

I received an ARC from the author on a blog tour for an honest review.

I wanted to really love this story, which I did until the ending. I didn’t care for it. I enjoyed the characters. They weren’t annoying, they each had their personalities and thought the story flow was great. I was totally enthralled by this story because it wasn’t the “oh woe is me” story that involves cheating. It made me laugh, it made me wish I lived in New York and had the best friends that Annie our main character had. They are a great support system and thought they added fun and laughs to the story. That ending… I could do without. For me, it just didn’t flow with the story. But I did love 90% of that story.

So the story starts with Annie coming home from work one day to find her live in boyfriend having sex with another woman. Yes, caught in the act! OMG that right there would shatter me! They live in New York and have a lease on apartment and is forced to stay in the same apartment. She first thinks she needs to hold on to Ryan that they can work things out. She looks up how to get your boyfriend back and finds several things to help her out. She follows these things but in the meantime, transforms and learns that she doesn’t need Ryan in her life. To help her along the way her four very hot best friends who happen to be all guys. She has never had close female friends and never thought anything of it. Her best friend is the hottie Brian. What Annie doesn’t know is that he has always had a secret crush on her. He helps Annie with her diet and exercise and Annie starts to gain her self-confidence she had been lacking. She soon discovers the truth about Brian and how he has always tried to protect her in more ways than what she knew.

Annie is devastated that the person she thought she could trust had also been lying to her. Is she able to work passed that Brian has always been looking to protect her or does she feel like he was adding to lies. Is she able to work things out with Ryan or is their relationship over forever? Does she decided that starting a relationship with her best friend is the right thing to do or stay with the man that she thought she would be with for the rest of her life? You would need to get the book to find out.

After reading the synopsis of the book, I was expecting a book that covered some serious material, but I was not sure what way the author would handle it, I have read books before where it was handled terribly, and some that handled it in a great way. This one was part of the latter group/

At first I was not sure why Anne was acting what I thought to be naive, but when I realized that Ryan was her first basically everything, I could understand why she would want to try and hold on to him, we all want our first loves to last don't we? Our first loves are intense, and the break up even more intense, feels like our whole world is falling apart, and if we can do something to fix it, we want to.

Anne was lucky to have her four best friends around to help her realize that there was nothing about her that needed changing, it was Ryan that needed to change his ways, and even then, we come to understand that there is more that they know about Ryan than Anne does, and she cannot go back to him.

There were times during this book that I really wanted to shake Anne to make her realize what she had waiting for her right in front of her eyes with Brian. He would say things to her, or do things for her that basically said how he felt about her, and she seemed completely clueless to them. I wanted them to get together as I could see that his feelings for her were genuine, and even when Ryan would beg her to come back to him, I just always got the feeling that he didn't really care for her.

The character development in Anne is really good, she starts off as what I would classify as mousey, very shy, and does not seem to have a whole lot of self-esteem. Later on in the book we find out why that is, and she definitely needs and is lucky to have her friends around to help her work through it. By the end of the book, she is literally a kick ass girl!

This book was not perfect for me, there were situations that I felt were a little out of reach for the characters, and just didn't fit properly, however, overall this was a good book for me, and I give it a 4/5.

Well what can I say S.L Siwik you won me over. The different dimensions of this book are amazing. They go so deep into everyone’s personalities that I just could not get enough. Lets’ start with the gist, we have Anne, who is a sweet girl who works and does everything her guy expects of her and then we have our area douche bag better known as Ryan who cheated in her bed MORE THAN ONCE and then decided to tell her it was her fault (he seriously made me want to punch things). The hostility I felt when he degraded our area heroin Anne was astounding. It made me want to cry and tell her to put him in his place more than once. Enter her best friends: Max, George, Brian and Ben. They all have been friends for what seems like ever and they are there to help her pick up the pieces of the slime bag Ryans’ heartbreak. However, there seems to be some lingering feelings out there from her friends point of view and they are more than excited when is really done with sir asshole. The way S.L goes into so much detail in this book and makes these characters her own, is really amazing. I read somewhere it was the problem child and she was unsure if she was ever going to finish. THANK GOD she did, because this book really shined to me. I love how these boys of Anne’s really take care of her and help her overcome all of her insecurities and find love again. Now, who will she find love with is the big question on my mind? She has options that she never dreamed she had. With men she never looked at in another light. She makes the choice to find love again in the face of heartbreak, abuse, and complete uncertainty. The princess finds her way. I give S.L 4.5 stars and CANNOT WAIT for the next installment in this series. I would, and have recommended this book to all of my fellow book girls and will continue to do so because, I am that much in love with this series.
Watch out for the next installment ‘Getting Back Annie’ and check out her other series ‘Office Perks’.

**JUST BOOKED received an ARC for an honest review**

Honestly, I did not know what to expect. The summary of novel, Winning Back Ryan, left a lot to the imagination. So when I began reading, I found myself engulf in the story and discovered why the name of the novel is, Winning Back Ryan.

Anne Watson met her boyfriend, Ryan, in college along with her best friends of five years Brian, Ben, Max, and George. She has decided to take the next step in her relationship with Ryan and move in with him, since they had been dating for the past two years.

Anne comes home one day after work to discover her boyfriend, Ryan, cheating on her with another woman in her bedroom. Devastated, she seeks her friends to comfort her while she contemplates what she is going to do about her relationship with Ryan. Her friends confess to her what they have known all along about Ryan’s cheating and she decides she is going to try to revamp herself to get Ryan back, but not without a little revenge.
While executing her plan, she finds her plans take a few turn because some of her friends have found a possible new opportunity to become more than friends with Anne. She finds herself the center as a love interest and the testosterone levels start to rise, but each of the guys have very different personalities that are irresistible finding yourself unable to choose too.

Does Anne win Ryan back? Does she want Ryan back after her revenge? Or does Anne find herself with a new love interest?

S.L. Siwik’s romance novel, Winning Back Ryan, is her first novel in the Winning Back series and is a wonderful love story with much relief does not end with huge cliffhanger. S.L. Siwik will not have us to waiting too long to find out more about the lives of all the characters in the next novel, Getting Back Annie, because she is currently writing the second book in the series and provides a prologue for the sequel.

S.L. Siwik’s first novel in the Winning Back series, Winning Back Ryan, receives 4 AMAZING STARS!

What do you do when you find the love of your life boinking a blonde bombshell in your bed? You pay his ass back, that's what. Annie thought Ryan was "the one". They'd been together for two years. He was her first everything, but after he cheats on her, he dishes out a whole list of things that forced him to be unfaithful. Annie sets out to make him eat his words, by doing everything on his pathetic list to make him jealous. With the help of her friends, she drives Ryan crazy with jealousy. Somewhere along the way she starts to fall for Brian, her best friend, after discovering he is in love with her. Brian has waited patiently for Ryan to mess up and when he does, Brian steps up to the plate, but he doesn't push Annie. He lets her know what his intentions are towards her, and it takes a whole lot of convincing for Annie to realize what's she's always needed was right in front of her Ryan emotionally abused Annie to the point that her self esteem was shot and she couldn't fathom that men found her attractive. Brian forced her to see her inner and outer beauty. He proved he wanted her any way he could have her. Even when Annie tried to change to make Ryan jealous, Brian only wanted "his" Annie - the Annie with the unruly hair and granny panties. There was such a camaraderie between Annie and her besties and lots of humorous moments and lots of witty dialogue. Although Brian and Annie fell for each other, there was still Ben (another best friend) that wasn't shy about his feelings for Annie, and Ben and Annie had a lot of chemistry as well. There were plenty of moments where I thought they were going to hook up, but then nothing. I kept expecting a love triangle, but even though Annie ended up with Brian, the author left the gate open for Ben to make his move at the end. Ben always popped up when Annie needed someone the most, which makes me suspicious that there will be a big change to come. I'm eagerly anticipating the next book to see where this story heads.

4 Great Stars!!

I had no idea what this book was going to be about when I began reading except what the title stated, so I immediately knew that there was going to be a break up involved, but wow. I didn't expect this book to be as good as it was. It was such a great read and really pulled me in. I did not want to put it down at all. I wanted to keep reading and find out what would happen next. If you love some drama in a book, then this book is for you. There is lots of drama between friends, lovers, exes, etc.

Anne Watson's life is normal like most people. She goes to work, has a great boyfriend, and some amazing friends in her life. That is until she goes home one evening from work to walk in on her boyfriend Ryan cheating.

Anne take to her best friend Brian as well as her other friends Ben, Max, and George. Yes, these are all men. Anne doesn't really have female friends and these men have been her friends since college. The catch to this is, two of her friends are in love with her. This all comes out through the story. Annie (the name she goes by) decided to win back Ryan in the beginning but somewhere along the way it turns into pure revenge. Things get pretty out of hand between the two and she soon learns she has feelings that are much deeper than she ever thought possible for one of her friends.

I have to say, there is a little love triangle within this story. Of course, I always seem to want the women with the guy that doesn't get her. Yet in this story, I don't know which man I want Annie to choose because you grow to love each one for different reasons. Yes I love these men in this story. They each have different personalities and are Amazing!!

Overall, I really loved this book. I can't wait for the sequel to come out!! At the end of the book it all seems like a happy ending but I know things are going to get real complicated and really fast. I would highly recommend this book to others. It's a great read!!!

This was a story of good friends. Good friends with the idea of revenge on their minds, but how friends can stick together even through the worst of times.

Anne comes home to her boyfriend of two years in her bed with another girl. Ryan was Anne's everything, he was "The One" for her and it all came crashing down in a minute. Ryan of course tries to explain the god awful situation to Anne and actually turns it around on her. In her time of need, Anne turns to her four best guy friends Max, Ben, Brian and George.

They have all been best friends for the last five years and are always there for each other no matter what. After explaining to the boys what happened with Ryan, there was no love lost. None of her guy friends liked Ryan and wanted better for her. One of them maybe? Anne had a different idea, to win Ryan back.

Out of the four guy friends, I liked Max the best. He was the one that didn't try to hit on Anne constantly and gave her the most sound advice. Ben was a player, he was good looking and knew it, although there is some back story to him we will see in the next book I am sure. Brian seemed to be the closest to Anne and sees Ryan out of the picture as his chance to step it up. George was just kind of there in the story as he didn't have a whole lot of scenes or background for that fact.

Anne hatches her revenge plan with the help of the boys. Probably too much help from the boys and lines start to get blurred all over the place with the five of them. There are a few surprises in the story that kept me wanting to see what was going to happen next. I think this book shows that even with the best intentions, men and women have a hard time being platonic best friends.

Well written, interesting read. I look forward to the next one to see what kind of trouble Ben is going to stir up with the situation as it was left.

Rating: 5 stars

This book is utterly amazing. The depth SL goes into with Anne (Annie), Ryan, Brian, Max, George, and Ben is perfect beyond words. She gives is their history but not in a boring way, it fits in seamlessly with the happenings throughout the story. I was able to build a connection with each of the characters and truly experience they're hurt, longing, and true devotion and friendship with one another. I absolutely love Anne and her strong-will to feel happier with herself along with the fact that her connection with four amazing men as her best friends is a welcome sight--different than the norm I've read lately. The deeper meaning behind this book had me crying and smiling throughout my read--you'll need to read for yourself to find this one ladies...I'm not ruining this beautiful work for anyone!! This was my first SL Siwik read and in her section at the end "About the Author" she states she's also the writer of "Getting Back Annie" so I'm very excited to hear when this will be releasing as I'll be jumping on it upon it's arrival!! This is a story that is real and not hard to get through. The sexual tension had me on the edge of my seat and the banter between Annie and her friends was hilarious!! Ryan makes me sick while Brian makes me swoon and I find myself hoping and wanting the HEA for all the characters, yes even Ryan. There were WTF moments, sensual heart-palpitating moments, and hurtful anger-filled sorrowful moments. This book gave it all to me as a reader and I can't wait for more. Give it a try!!

This is definitely a must read! I bought this book because I had read Just Good Friends by this same author and loved it. Now this book isn't anything like Just Good Friends but I think it was just as good. Anne Watson comes home after a horrible day at work to find her boyfriend of 2yrs in bed with another woman. After he tells her why he cheated, and basically that it's her fault, she decides she needs to fix herself to try to get him back. She convinces her friends that she wants revenge not to get back with him so they will help her, and that's where her trouble begins. I wasn't too sure when I started reading it if I was going to like it or not just because Anne was really annoyingly in denial about Ryan. But let's face it when has anyone not been guilty of being in denial at one point or another when it comes to a loved one. I really like the author's writing style though so I continued reading and I'm really glad I did and now I cannot wait for the sequel. Anne does eventually wind up being a strong character. I loved all the characters, especially Brian and Ben, except for Ryan and Amanda. The author gives just the right amount of details without overdoing it. The storyline and timetable are believable, nothing felt rushed, and great character development. I highly recommend this book.

When Annie Watson came home after a hard day at work, she just wanted to relax but found her boyfriend in their bed with another women. With months to go on a shared lease, she turns to her best friends for support and works out a plan in her head for Winning Back Ryan, with the shared lease keeping them tied to an expensive apartment.

The friends provide support with lots of drinking, keeping her safe when she spins out of control and giving her time to heal and come to grips with Ryan's betrayal that has been going on throughout most of their two year relationship. The guys, Brian, Ben, George and Max offer support and try to convince her she is better off without Ryan but deep down she finds if hard to give up the first guy she has been with that she planned to spend the rest of her life with.

Ryan's behavior keeps getting uglier and uglier with public humiliation, calling her fat and blaming her for his behavior and finally an act of violence.

I found the behavior of this group of young adults to be rather immature at times, sometimes funny but mostly they are one confused group of people about what is important in life, although they are figuring it out quickly when the need arrises. Winning Back Ryan is full of emotions and conflict within the group of friends as they pull together to help Annie, which is the saving part of the plot.

I got this book free on amazon and it has been sitting in my kindle for a while. I am so glad I decided to read it last night. I thought it was a great book. I loved the storyline, the characters and the writing. I couldn't put the book down.
Annie, who at times I wanted to shake and wake her up, finds her boyfriend of two years cheating on her. He blames her and she wants to fix what he tells her to try to win him back.
Annie has four, gorgeous, amazing MALE friends; Brian, Ben, Max and George. This group of friends will do anything for Annie and are so protective of her. Brian and Ben want more than just a platonic friendship. Brian has been her Best Friend of the four for five years.
I love the banter and their converstions, especially when they went lingerie shopping with Annie.
It had some anxiety and angst. Will Annie go back with Ryan, Will Annie ever admit her feeling with Brian and act on it. Will Annie go with Ben.
I liked the Ending felt it was the best choice but would have liked a little more. Hoping the next book will give us more of an HEA. I would love to see books on all the friends and their friendship.

I got this book as a freebie on Amazon, not having too high hopes but looking for something new. S.L. Siwik was right in her description though, i DID find my new book boyfriend! I am totally Team Ben all the way. The book itself was great because it was heart-wrenching and much more realistic than a lot of other books. It wasn't just all flowers and rainbows, it showed a darker side of relationships. Annie was realistic, but strong; she got knocked down & it got to her for a bit but she came back with a vengeance and tried to get her life back. (SPOILER ALERT!) the attempted suicide aspect hit home a bit, but i appreciated the message it sent: sometimes there really are no warning signs, and it can happen to people you least expect it from. and Annie's reaction was spot on for most people who have gone through something like that. it's what everyone wants to say but is afraid to. i was very impressed with this author's book and can't wait for the next one to come out! i highly recommend this book, BUT if you are looking for a light, fluffy book, this is not the one for you.

Wow… given the title for this book and the first few chapters seemed to make sense but as you read – the title no longer fits the bill. Originally Annie wanted to win Ryan back but everyday after their break-up, she finds another reason why he’s not “the one.” My heart just broke for her and the break up she had to endure. Ryan is a complete jackass! And to think she wanted to marry him! Yeah, ignorance is bliss but only to a point and I’m glad the guys made her see his assholishness, but at the same time… they did a little scheming of their own which wasn’t exactly cool on their part!

The more time she spent away from Ryan, she was able to really find herself and participate in activities she normally didn’t do like belly dancing and taking a self-defense class (which does come in handy)! Not only that, but the guys really loved her for who she was and didn’t feel the same way as all of Ryan’s excuses.

This book was an emotional ride for Annie and I can’t wait for the next book, Getting Back Annie.
I thoroughly enjoyed WBR and the characters in it and still can’t help but think… poor Annie!

All I can say is wow! This was a really long read but kept you intrigued from the first page to the last. This was an amazing book on so many levels. It touched on a couple of very sensitive issues but dealt with them in such a delicate way, that it was not disturbing in any way, shape or form.

The main character Annie is a very self conscious individual who is hurt deeply by her boyfriend Ryan's betrayal. The story focuses on her wonderful friendships with her four very unique friends George, Max, Ben and her best friend Brian. It also follows Annie's attempts at trying to win back Ryan's affection.

The story takes some intriguing twists and turns along the way with Annie discovering that she is much more than she ever imagined. Is Ryan really worth winning back? Or is the perfect guy for her much closer than she realises?

"Sometimes the person that you think you need the least is actually the person that you need the most."

Many will relate to Annie's insecurities and I can guarantee you that you will be wishing you had four male friends like these guys that were there for you at every turn.

This book is a must read!

When I read the synopsis of Winning back Ryan, I though oh this book is going to be fun. Nothing beats a scorned woman that is going to teach her ex a lesson. And I did enjoy that part of the story, but for some reason there was a little something missing for me. I liked Brian, he was written so well that I really found myself rooting for him and even crushing a little on him. In all honesty I wanted slap Annie, seriously, who catches their boyfriend in bed with someone and decides ‘hmmm, maybe I need to lose weight and look hotter’. S.L did a great job at showing how confused Annie was. I really think Ryan could have had a more of a story or some kind of back and forth. I did enjoy the book but it just didn’t have the amazing wow factor that I really hoped for. It was a really light easy read and could be a great read for someone who just finished a heavy book and needs something light to break up the book hangover.

I give this book a 3.5 Star Review.

I was sent an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.

I really really enjoyed Winning Back Ryan and it was a book I had trouble putting down. I enjoyed each and every character and felt S.L did a great job on the development of each character's back story.

The plot was extremely realistic in the sense of the topics discussed throughout the novel.

I don't want to give anything away but I am unsure of how I feel about who the main female character ended up with at the end of this book. I hope this is not the end of the story!!!

I would have given this novel five stars if it weren't for some small grammatical errors.

I definitely recommend this book to those who enjoy New Adult Romance with more than one possible love interest!

I liked this book. I love reading books where the heroine kicks ass and isn't completely weak. I was mad at her at first because she wanted to get back with Ryan but glad she opened her eyes. I wish I had loyal guy friends. Girls are too much drama. I can't decide if I like Ben or Brian though. I like Brian, he's sweet and would do anything for Annie, but there's something about him that seems odd like he's selfish. I really like Ben, even though he's the perverted friend, he seems more there for Annie wants her to be happy with whatever her decisions are. Hopefully the 2nd book will sway me.

After reading the title of the book I presumed what the plot was going to be about...how wrong was I. The story centres around Anne and her four male friends who help her rebuild herself after she comes home from work to find her boyfriend of two years cheating on her...

I really enjoyed this book so much so that I read it in one sitting. I liked the plot and the direction the author took it in. I loved the interaction between the main character and her friends some of the banter was laugh out loud funny and then serious and compassionate the next.

Looking forward to the next books especially Bens.

Would definitely recommend :-)

I got this book as a freebie. girl lives boy, boy is a cheating scumbag, girl finds other boy to love. I liked this book ok. At times it was confusing and its softer than I typically like. I did enjoy the story until I got about 65% through, then I was ready for the end. It kinda jumped around to much for my taste and had me questioning whether I missed a part or not.If there is a sequel for Ben, it has the potential to be awesome, as well as stories about Max and George. Brian was a little boring. I'm not sure I would read another in this series otherwise.

I would give this a solid 3.5 stars. What a great book from a new author. I am extremely impressed with how she developed each character. The relationship between Annie and her boys was so sweet. There is humor, dynamic relationships, heartbreak, and true love that isn't necessarily romantic love.

It is indie books like this that need to be way more popular than they are. I have read some crap books by people with a huge publishing company behind them and they were terrible in comparison.

Looking forward to book 2!
