While Martin dreams of landing the lead role in the up coming ballet production, he doesn’t stand a chance next to the gorgeous and talented Pasha. During a private practice session the two men strive for dominance not only over the ballet, but also over each other, and learn how dirty dancing can get.
Zoe Perdita writes (mostly) gay shifter romance because the only thing better than one hot shifter dude is two hot shifter dudes making out. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with a fluffy orange cat and a lively roommate. When she's not writing, Zoe likes to travel, read and play video games.

This book was a really short. Hot. Mess. Ended at 25% even though the book is only listed at 11pgs to begin with? There were also 2 more short stories included that I literally just flipped through and didn’t read. 2 ballet dancers. At a studio. They don’t dance. They randomly just start having sex without knowing each other or talking before “because his eyes told him, the other man liked him”?!? And then the end. That’s it. Lol. No character development or backstory or anything really in this book.
A short story, of two male ballet dancing rivals, who end up having a sexual interlude during a private practice session. One who has never been in a mm sexual situation before, but finds himself aroused when dance practice goes wrong. He shows dominance and pushes his Russian rival who initially tries for control but turns the situation round until he submits to him. Knowledge of ballet shown by the writer, but this is basically a sexual scene in a setting. I considered it for 2 or 3 stars and it fits a good two star, 2.5. Fills a coffee break.
Where I couldn't suspend disbelief was cum-not-cleaned-up on the practice floor. Also lubes but not condoms. I appreciated that the sex sounded like part of the same story as the other interactions. There was the same dynamic between them, fighting for power.
I read tried this again and could not finish it. The balance of sex and relationship did not work for me.
Averaging 3 stars for the first read and 1 start of the next read, I am giving this 2 stars.
Extremely short. But those 11 pages were good. It's basically just a sex scene between two rivals. It could be something better if made into a full length story o even a novella.
