This book was really a page-turner; it had me from the first page to the end of the book. It was about a man name Desmond that got fired from his job, which lead him to seek other ways to make money. So he came up with a business plan, which he went over with his grandma. She thought it was a good idea. But also at the same time asked him where did he get the money from. She knew all about the business. 1-click to see how grandma knew about the business, and where did Desmond get the money.
I was very surprised at the emotional depth that was put into characters. Open Late has a good storyline and it keeps your attention it really was well written. I can't wait to see what happens in part 2. I also would recommend this book to others. I would also read more work from this author.
I enjoyed this book I liked the characters and the way the story flowed what I did not like was the cliffhanger which the author seems to like to leave us on in his books but his writing is good so I can see myself reading the next book.
Very good for a short read but then again we expect nothing less from author S. Jaudon and I am looking forward to the follow up ~ want to know what happens with Naltalie, Famous Amos, Lester & Pokemon. There was a lot more to this than I expected so I am looking forward to a lot more happening.
Definitely a page turner. Had my attention from beginning to end. Shareef Jaudon has become one of my favorite writers. Totally recommend this book and any other book he writes.
