My inner toddler adores this and wants to read it again and again. Each game suggested is perfect for the critter nominating it, and perfectly wrong for the others, until the last one, which is mildly exciting for all. So cute! Highly recommended to families who enjoy celebrating innocent fun.
Pretty much always love picture books illustrated by Gyo Fujikawa, and this is no exception. These books bring back wonderful memories of when Erin was little.
"Rabbit was tired of doing nothing..." Great little story with a nice little twist. Though I must say, using Surprise! Surprise! as the title kind of telegraphs that ending a little bit.
I'm curious about Rabbit's back-story though. If he's so naughty... In what way? What's he done?
Poor rabbit! He's just as surprised as everyone else by the end of this story. There was quite a lot of words to read in this one and I did have to do some on the spot editing to avoid using the word "hated". Aside fromt that it was pretty cute.
