Another Cerberus Man to Fall
I just can’t get enough of this series and Stormy’s story is definitely a five-star read. All it takes is a call from back home and his whole life is about to change in ways he never dreamed of. He is notified his friends from back in the day were murdered and their funeral was in a couple of days. During this time is when he runs into Mila again. It’s been a couple of years that he’s seen the little spitfire who he spent one night with. She sure isn’t greeting him now like she did the last time he was home. She wants nothing to do with him but they will both learn how connected they truly are.
Their story has so many twists and turns that my head was spinning. Like all Cerberus men he believed in family and honor and at the same time these men were all alpha as Mila was about to learn. The surprises that kept popping up in this book sure kept me on my toes.
This book…this series is one that I highly recommend. Just keep these Cerberus men coming!!

Loved this book. Stormy discovers his best friend and his wife were murdered. They left behind 2 small sons which they have entrusted Stormy to raise. What a shock for Stormy because of his lifestyle in the MC. Mila, meets Stormy at her sister funeral and remembers the one time they became involved 3 years ago. Mila also is a single mom. Sparks are awakened between the 2 of them. They realize that there is more to these murders and Mila and the children return with Stormy. Do these two rekindle their feelings and also try to solve the murders of Mila’s sister and Stormy’s best friend? I admired how these two succeed to overcome their issues while also caring for these children. Their love begins to grow and a family is formed. What a beautiful love story!

Vincent or Stormy is sure he never wanted forever until a tragedy makes him realize how wrong he is. I feel like I still have some unanswered questions and that we haven't seen the last of the Keres MC. Loved that Puff Daddy made an appearance!! Can't wait for more!!!.

Vincent "Stormy" Chilton is a relatively new member of the Cerberus MC and enjoys what he does saving women and children from sex trafficking rings and other dangerous occurrences. When his former best friend, Carmen, and his wife, Janet, are killed he is shocked to learn how.
Mila Taylor has spent the last of her savings paying for the funeral of her sister, Janet, and her husband. She is even more devastated to learn that their boys have been given to Vincent in the will.
When both Mila and Vincent realize what the couple was involved in they know they need to leave town fast but when Vincent realizes what Mila has been hiding will this jeopardize anything?
Can Mila and Vincent put the past behind them and figure out a way to keep all of them safe?
This was a really good book and I really enjoyed the story.
It broke my heart what the boys went through and how much of their life changed with a terrible decision made by their parents. I loved seeing their growth through the book and hopefully we get more of them in future books.
Vincent was another great guy and strong character. He handled everything that was thrown at him carefully and he really wanted to learn what was best for the kids. You could tell he was ready to take it all on.
Mila didn't come from much and you could tell she was really doing her best but had been pushed away by her sister so she had no idea what was going on. She didn't like being told what to do but realized she had to leave town for her safety and that of the kids.
There was so much chemistry between Vincent and Mila and you knew it had been going on for a few years. The two of them needed to figure out the past while also discovering what they wanted for the future. I liked how their relationship progressed.
This club is so amazing and really family orientated. I loved how the ladies got Mila set up with her own business as they needed her at the club and it made everyone happy.
The club business in this book centered around Mila but I liked how they all came together to protect her and solve the problem.

Marie James is back with the latest addition to her Cerberus MC series, bringing readers Stormy’s story.
The moment Stormy receives some upsetting news regarding his childhood friend, is this moment his life changes. His best friend Carlan and his wife Janet were found deceased, leaving behind two boys. The children have been staying with Mila, Janet’s sister, however she’s not exactly financially stable plus there’s the fact that Stormy is now legally responsible for them.
Stormy and Mila have history together, a couple of years ago the pair shared a night of passion before going their separate ways. Now they’re reunited due to circumstances beyond their control, and together they are determined to make things run as smoothly as possible for the sake of the children, all three of them. You see as well as the two boys there’s Mila’s daughter, the daughter Stormy fathered during their one night stand.
Stormy wastes no time in bringing his ready-made family back to the clubhouse where they are welcomed with open arms by the entire Cerberus family, and made to feel as though they are members themselves. Lots of secrets come to light as to what Carlan and Janet had been mixed up in, and what had led to their deaths, now with Mila and the children facing danger as a result we bear witness to Stormy’s inner turmoil as he struggles with the loss of his independence along with the need to protect what’s quickly become his universe.
Another well written book with a gripping storyline. Combustible chemistry between the main protagonists as well as the typical banter, humour, friendship and camaraderie we’ve grown to know and love from the girls and guys of the Cerberus family ensures readers are hooked from start to finish. I highly recommend this book, it’s one you don’t want to miss.

As a member of Marie James Stalkers fan club, I have to admit that I love her Cerberus MC and Blackbridge Security (BBS) stories, so I was thrilled when Stormy and Mila’s story involved both teams. Volume 29 of her Cerberus series involves murder, danger, surprises, misconceptions, and eventual HEA for the couple.
The book’s synopsis is very succinct in preparing you for Stormy’s carefree life as single MC member ending so he can become instant guardian to his murdered childhood best friend Carlen and his wife’s (Janet) two young sons. Stormy traveled to St. Louis and envisioned a quick trip back to New Mexico after picking up the boys. He comes face to face with Mila, Janet’s younger sister, that he had agreed to a hot tryst several years ago. Mila had taken charge of the two boys, so she is not very receptive of Stormy taking them away. Stormy realizes that Mila and the boys are in danger after a notorious St. Louis motorcycle gang is tied to the murders of the boys parents. Stormy didn’t have a clue what was in store for him when he decided to get everyone back to NM. The return trip took longer than planned due in part to transporting children and trying to elude the dangerous gang with BBS’s assist. Stormy and Mila are still attracted to each other, but a newly discovered secret along with undiscussed insecurities leads to a very bumpy ride to their eventual HEA.
Though I wanted to knock some sense into Mila at first, she finally realized that she needed to have faith in those around her, and Stormy came to the conclusion that he had to forget past transgressions and look to the present day. As with Marie’s previous stories, I found Stormy and Mila’s story to be well written rollercoaster ride with a happy ending.

I so enjoyed reading Stormy and Mika’s book.
I absolutely loved him.
He is what a real man embodies. He’s of strong character and integrity.
He will lay down his life for his brothers in his MC, all those he loves and all those being victimized by evil people.
Stormy is possessive of the woman he loves and protects his family fiercely.
Yeah I’ll take one Stormy, please.
I didn’t like Mila right away. She was combative and volatile.
I get that she had a lot on her plate and her cup overflowing. But her attitude was just ugly.
And what she did to Stormy was absolutely shocking and horrible.
She can justify her actions and decisions all she wants. But what she did was just wrong!
As the story continues I started to feel for her a bit.
And the pressures she was under and how she kept trying her very best in the worst of circumstances made her effects admirable.
Now let me tell you though no matter the hurdles that these to have to overcome.
Their chemistry is something that is absolutely no a problem for them.
There is still that attraction and energy between them. That did not fade away with time.
But made stronger with the new revelations and responsibilities.
A bittersweet love story that blossomed from the ashes of tragedy.

Stormy is the 29th book in the Cerberus MC by Marie James. I was hooked on this book from the start. I even read it in a day. It was so sad and heartwarming at the same time, you couldn't help but hope they worked out. And it really showed what people are capable of when the unexpected happens.
At the end of Legacy, we find out Stormy was given custody of his best friend's sons when he and his wife died. In this book, Stormy goes back to St. Louis to figure out what to do and gets some unexpected surprises. It turns out his best friend Carlen and his wife Janet had gotten themselves into some trouble that took a turn for the worse and when they were killed the debt they owed to a 1%ers MC went to Janet's little sister Mila. Mila wanted custody of her nephews but wasn't financially stable enough to support them. When Stormy finds out Mila and the boys are in danger he knows he needs to get them back to Cerberus to keep them safe. That's when he gets the second bombshell that he's already a dad to a little girl named Sutton. Apparently, the last time he was home about 3 years ago he spent the night with Mila and she got pregnant. Now will Stormy want the family he has? Can he keep them safe from the MC hunting them?
I gave this a 4-star and a 4-spicy rating. Stormy might not have wanted to be a dad and have a family but he is a damn good one, right from the start. Mila knows she messed up and owns up to it which is admirable. They both might have been thrown into an instant family together but they were always meant to be together. It just wasn't the right time yet. This one is left on a cliffhanger for Oracle and boy I did NOT see this coming. I can't wait to check it out.

Stormy’s life was going good. Life was settling at the clubhouse and then everything changed. His best friend and wife died and made him the guardian for their two boys. Going back home means that he needs to step up for the boys and coming face to face with Mila, the boy’s aunt.
For some reason Mila is mad at him, which he doesn’t understand. They had one hot night together, but he was honest with her that he didn’t want or can’t give her more than that, and she was up for that. However, coming face to face with her, Stormy is in for another surprise…
Mila can’t believe that her life changed so quickly. She was now responsible for two little boys who lost their parents. But she is so angry with her sister for letting things get so bad, angry with herself for fighting with her sister and not knowing it was so bad. And angry at the marine coming back into her life. And finding out her secret…
These two had past hurts to get over. And Stormy especially after finding out the secret that Mila was keeping from him. But he put it all aside to protect her and the boys from her sister and his best friend’s trouble that is following her. The Cerberus men are amazing, they will do anything to protect their woman and children and Stormy is no different. I have to say I didn’t understand Mila’s attitude towards Stormy, why she was so angry. But its more to do with her than him though.
Loved the suspense and the action, the romance, the chemistry, and the story was amazing. Looking forward to more in this series, it just gets better and better 😊

I have to say I didn’t understand Mila’s attitude towards Stormy, why she was so angry. But its more to do with her than him though.
Loved the suspense and the action, the romance, the chemistry, and the story was amazing. Looking forward to more in this series, it just gets better and better 😊

Stormy is book twenty-nine in James’s Cerberus MC and can be read as a standalone. When Stormy goes home for the funeral of his high school best friend and his wife, he’s faced with not only his past one night stand with friend’s sister-in-law, Mila, he’s also hit with being named legal guardian to their two little boys, Jace and Luca.
When secrets from his friend’s life start to come to light, Stormy comes face to face with men from the MC that are looking for Mila and the boys to pay the parent’s debt. Knowing there’s no other way to protect them, he moves them all back to Farmington for a fresh start and where Cerberus can help protect them. I loved loved loved the crossover with Blackbridge Security and especially the cameo of Puff Daddy lol. Man I love that bird and I want one just like him.
Stormy and Mila’s chemistry is palpable from the beginning, but after Mila’s own secrets come light, Stormy isn’t quite sure whether to be mad or want her even more lol. The two are juggling becoming a family of five and for Mila, whether she’s going to be included in that family or not. My heart ached for those little boys as more and more of what their lives have been like is revealed. I enjoyed the pace of this one as the two of them came to terms with their new lives and all that came with it. I loved that they didn’t just rush into it because of past chemistry. I loved that they took their time to truly get to know one another while also taking care of the kids. Another great addition to one of my favorite series. I loved getting the sneak peak for what’s next and that story belongs to Oracle.

Book 29 in the amazing world of Cerberus MC and their loved ones. If you haven’t read Ms. James’ Cerberus series can I just say you are truly missing out. Little did I know 19 books ago when I picked up Kincaid that I would fall in love with these Heroic men and women who fight for what’s right and go above and beyond for those they care for, to the point I anxiously await the next book to hit the shelves.
Stormy is one of our newer members, having recently left the Marine Corp. His world gets turned upside down when he receives a call informing him that his best friend, Carlan, and his wife had been killed and he was the listed guardian for their two small boys. A task he’s totally unprepared for but 100% willing to take on, after all Carlan was his best friend. When he turns to get the boys, he bumps into their aunt Mila, a woman he had a one night stand with 3 years ago. They both have questions but no answers about the murders and potential dangers ahead. Mila has secrets she has kept from everyone, including Stormy but she isn’t prepared to let the children go without a fight, even though she’s flat broke. Stormy isn’t willing to let the kids or Mila stay where it’s not safe and he can’t protect them.
The storyline is heartbreaking with lots of regrets, sadness and dangers ahead. It’s romantic yet full of worries and troubles. Watching these two struggle with starting a life for the kids while figuring out their own paths is breathtaking. I highly recommend grabbing Stormy up asap, you won’t be sorry you did.

Instant Family!
The next installment of the Cerberus MC family does not disappoint. This story has all our lovable characters, and we even get a small crossover with Blackbridge Security to catch up with the guys. This book was hard to put down and I watched these two characters maneuver uncharted territory and hidden secrets. The kids just melt your heart along the way as they learn to trust again.
When Stormy took the call he never imagined what it would mean to his future. His best friend and wife are dead. He’s been named guardian of their two little boys. Who just happen to be staying with Mila. He hasn’t seen her since their night together. And he will never be the same once he sees her again and the truth is revealed.
Mila is struggling with the loss of her sister and the fact that she is taking care of the boys. She doesn’t have the means to be able to care for them long term, but she refuses to just let them go. Especially knowing that Stormy never wanted a family or kids. She will fight but she knows she can’t win.
These two come together for the sake of the kids. Their mistrust from the past and current misunderstandings struggle to pull them both under. I loved this second chance romance. Mila and Stormy created a haven for the kids and somehow found each other again.

What a page-turner this one was packed with emotions and suspense romance, loss, and a mystery needing to be solved. Stormy's life changed in a blink of an eye but, he was tasked with the job of raising the children of a friend who had recently passed. Things become more complicated when Stormy stares into the face of a woman of his past who just happens to have a connection to his newest charges.
Loved the chemistry between Mila & Stormy who both experience loss, love, and romance as they navigate the days ahead. The days ahead will be trying but, they have substance worth fighting for.
As the story progresses there is mystery and suspense and danger intensifies. The story had a ton of drama and a couple who experienced some ups and downs but, we loved that Mila was so protective of her family and Stormy the man willing to step in a do what was right for those little boys.

This was a really good book and I really enjoyed the story.
It broke my heart what the boys went through and how much of their life changed with a terrible decision made by their parents. I loved seeing their growth through the book and hopefully we get more of them in future books.
Vincent was another great guy and strong character. He handled everything that was thrown at him carefully and he really wanted to learn what was best for the kids. You could tell he was ready to take it all on.
Mila didn't come from much and you could tell she was really doing her best but had been pushed away by her sister so she had no idea what was going on. She didn't like being told what to do but realized she had to leave town for her safety and that of the kids.
There was so much chemistry between Vincent and Mila and you knew it had been going on for a few years. The two of them needed to figure out the past while also discovering what they wanted for the future. I liked how their relationship progressed.
This club is so amazing and really family orientated. I loved how the ladies got Mila set up with her own business as they needed her at the club and it made everyone happy.
The club business in this book centered around Mila but I liked how they all came together to protect her and solve the problem.

Loved this book! Stormy is my new favorite biker!
Ex marine, Stormy Chilton is shocked to discover that not only was his former best friend Carmen and wife Janet killed in what looks like a drug deal gone bad, but also that it seems he has inherited custody of their 2 young children. And the shocks continue when he finds out a big secret that Janet’s sister Mila has been hiding for the past two years!
“Life is different when the kids are your responsibility, isn’t it?”
“I don’t know how to be a dad,” I mutter to Hound.
“You put sunblock on them and life vests. I’d say you’re doing just fine.”
Don’t be intimidated by the fact that Stormy is book 29 in the Cerberus series. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I haven’t read all of the Cerberus books and had no trouble getting into this story and following the entire storyline.
“I want to be a part of all of it.”
He gives me a smile, cupping my cheek in a way that makes me feel more loved than I ever have before in my life.”
I really enjoyed diving back into this series. The story has some great romantic suspense elements and a couple of my favorite tropes.

After leaving his career as a Marine, Stormy has found a new home within the Cerberus MC. When he learns that his best friend and his wife have passed away under suspicious circumstances and that he has been named the guardian of their two children he doesn’t hesitate. This will also bring their aunt who is the woman he spent one steamy evening with a few years earlier back into his life and that isn’t the only surprise he is about to face.
Mila may have been struggling financially but she loves her sister’s children as if they were own and she isn’t about to walk away. Due to the past, she shared with Stormy she was cautious about letting him back into her life however she soon realizes that it is the only way for them to stay together and be safe and it might just be a second chance for her and Stormy.
Suspense and romance combine as the man who thought he never wanted a relationship and family soon realizes that he now can’t imagine a future without him and as the suspense escalates, he knows that his MC brothers will be there for them all.

Stormy's life changes in thr blink of an eye. Things move rapidly for him once he gets the call that his best friend and his wife were murdered. He may not have seen them recently, but they trusted him more than any eith the care of their two young boys. With them, comes their Aunt Mila, and her own secrets. They're secrets she doesn't know how to keep from him, but desperately wants to. The priority is to keep the children safe, and Mila, once she becomes the next target.
I absolutely loved how Stormy stepped right up to the plate for the kids. He didn't falter. He made them feel safe and protected. I love that he reached out for help from Blackbridge to get everyone back to Cerberus without too much excitement and danger.
I also loved how protective Mila was of her nephews. She had good intentions, and once truths were revealed, she had a lot of remorse for her secrets. I actually loved these two together. They had an instant family once their issues were worked out, and Atormy melted my heart!

Stormy is another great addition in this ongoing unique MC series. I have been reading since Kincaid, and I can say that each book is a unique adventure. This story covers Stormy and Mila. Stormy's good friend is killed along with his wife, Janet, leaving Stormy to take care of their two young children. Stormy never saw himself as a father, and to complicate matters, he has a past with Mila, who happens to be Janet's sister and is willing to take care of the 2 boys. When Stormy comes to town he crosses paths with Mila who has a lot on her plate and is under quite a bit of stress since losing her sister and trying to help the boys adjust to their new circumstances. Will Stormy take custody of the boys, or will some unexpected surprises lead them to become a happy little family?
Again, the characters were amazing, and there was plenty of mystery and suspense. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series. It was also great seeing some of the Blackbridge guys who come from one of my other favorite series by Ms. James.

Omg Marie has done it again I love this couple so much Stormy & Mila the love , sexual chemistry, drama secrets and suspense keeps you in the edge of your seat the way this story captivated me I could not put it down this story filled with so much regret, bad decisions and ultimately making up for broken promises and time they have lost together . My heart breaking for them at times and then there is so much love and compassion for each other Stormy love for Mila, Sutton, and the boys was instant and the Cerebus men always love big and the damsel in distress Stormy instantly stepped up into a parental role for his best friends kids after the kid’s parents were killed. Along with the kids comes their aunt Mila that refuses to let them go. Mila’s holding a a really big secret from Stormy that he must learn to forgive her for before their relationship can even begin. This just a amazing story for a great HEA

No romance, chemistry, or action - read on KU
This series has lost its luster. I don't remember Stormy from any of the previous books. And the only thing we know about Oracle for the next book is how he gets a booboo in this book.
Ms. James didn't show us how the MCs fell in love. It just seemed like convenience. They slept together 3 years earlier and we barely learn any circumstances about that. The situation with the couple that died wasn't really resolved. Both characters both realize they'll never know the truth. That's just not interesting.
The steamy scenes are incredibly boring. And there was a total lack of chemistry between the MCs.
I keep reading these because they're easy to read and I read about a book a day. It can become hard to find new things to read. But I think it would be great to wrap up this series and start something new. Maybe Cerberus II in another part of the country?

Stormy (Vincent) and Mila were so well matched and great to read. This book has some good tropes, some of my favorites are: second chance (in a way), found family, obviously protector romance, and secret baby. It was a roller coaster for them to get to their HEA, but they got there in the end. The kids broke my heart at times but watching them grow and get more confident in their surroundings was beautiful. I love the family that Cerberus is and how they continue to grow with each new member. I am also a die hard spooky season girl, so that whole Halloween scene and corn maze was my favorite!
Now that ending, Oracle what have you gotten yourself into? I just know his story will be a fun one and I can’t wait.

After receiving tragic news, Stormy goes back home for a short time to resolve some things about the death of his friend Carlan and wife Janet, leaving behind two little boys. Holy Wow!
What a great story.
Stormy is fairly new to Cerberus. He gets a phone call that sends him back to his hometown of St. Louis and to the news of his best friend and his bff's wife being murdered in a sketchy part of town. Leaving two boys, in their old, but still legal will, to Stormy. Now, there are all kinds of questions.
Mila, the sister of the deceased wife, is trying to figure out how her wholesome sister and husband ended up where they did. Also, leaving her with having to care for two young boys and very little money.
Oh, yeah, there is also that little pesky thing about Vincent (Stormy) and Mila having a hot one night stand three years ago. I mean, what could go wrong when they cross paths again?
I just love that we got to see those hotties from Blackbridge and those crazy @ss birds one more time.

There is something about seeing a big, strong protective man wrapped up in little kiddos, that just grabs my heart and twists it into the most delicious knots. This was a great 'family' twist of a forced proximity/second chance story for me as I got to fall in love with not just Stormy but also Mila and her feisty protective self.
I look forward to each and every Cerberus MC book when they are announced because I just love the characters Marie J has created and the world they live in. Each book has a familiarity you look for in a series but even 29 books in I'm still learning not only about the newest couple, but there are bits and pieces throughout bringing us up to date on other members as well. (loved seeing Em and Kincade again as well as crossing paths with men of Blackbridge Security).

This is the 29th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Stormy and Mila’s story. These two spent an unforgettable night a few years previously, and they reconnect again when Stormy’s best friend and his wife are killed in a tragic accident, leaving two little boys behind. Stormy went from being the fun single guy, to become guardian to the boys, and Mila, who is the boy’s aunt, refuses to be cast aside.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with revelations, danger, suspense, intrigue, undeniable chemistry, loss, grief, friendships, loyalty, mystery, betrayal, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, haunting, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I said it before and I will say it again: read the series, IN ORDER, it just makes sense. These all flow from one story the next, all the characters make appearances at some point, in some fashion, and it just makes it easier to know who's who, how the couples match up, and all that jazz. That said, this is like book twenty-nine, 29, as in there are twenty-eight stories before this and I can promise you, these are all different! Nothing about this series is repetitive, everything is fresh, and Stormy's story is no different. I absolutely fell in love with Stormy, how he dealt with the whole situation, how patient he was with the kids and especially with how he dealt with Mila. Expect some danger, violence, a few moments where your heart strings will get tugged on, and of course some very nice naughty bits. I give this 5 stars.

The perfect book boyfriend
I am consistently blown away by Marie James’ ability to craft new and exciting stories within the book world universe she’s created.
Stormy and Mila’s tale is book number #29 in the Cerberus MC series. I love all the characters in this little world but I’m not even going to sugar coat this - Stormy has absolutely stolen my heart and is firmly in my top 3 of the series. He is just simply amazing. His heart is filled with so much love and patience. I cannot say enough great things about his character.
I really wasn’t sure about Mila. I had a hard time with some of her behavior. But the character development that she goes through had me rooting for her by the end.
I cannot say enough good things about this book. Be prepared to hand over your heart to this perfect book boyfriend. I LOVED it!!!!!!!
