The Fae Girl #4

A Place of Rage & Ruin

Rate this book
In this world I am not a person, just an object to own, a weapon to wield… A dark, fae story like you’ve never read before.
Alice and High Prince Fain slowly start to rebuild their relationship as she struggles to come to terms with everything King Yannis put her through during the months he held her captive.

But as Alice’s powers continue to grow, they reveal more about her bloodline than she would like and when someone makes a move against the free Fae, Alice must face up to her royal status and race to defend them.

With the High King Uther suddenly incapacitated, an old adversary returns, and a plot quickly unfolds that leaves all fingers pointing to High Prince Fain as the would be assassin.

Can Alice protect the Fae? Can she save the High King’s life?

And more importantly, is she able to prove Prince Fain’s innocence and save him before it’s too late?
- Dual POV - This is a dark fantasy so please check the triggers.

So I might of brain dumped every so often during this book & this is what I got

I’d really love to smack Guillaume around….Alice is getting her confidence back & he puts doubts in her head….he keeps saying she being manipulated by Fain & the High King but I’m starting to think he’s manipulating her himself

Fain is learning patience…especially with Alice….he wants so badly to protect her from the evils of his world…he knows he needs to let her stand on her on two feet within reason…he has really grown a lot

Thank you Cait…finally proving to Alice that Fain IS indeed a man of his word…if Alice could just trust him enough & not overthink things…UGH!!!
But a few chapters later blinded by love now Cait isn’t seeing clearly until it’s to late…or maybe it was just magic & not the good kind

Rillion can jump off a cliff at this point…I’m over his shenanigans….one day he’s going to meet Karma & he’s not going to like it

Why does it always feel like Alice the little Fae girl is always saving Fain the big fearless soldier???

Finally!!! Fain the fated mate 😍

So I think this book is my favorite in the series so far…still one more book to go so my opinion could change by the end…you just never know

As this is the fourth book in The Fae Girl series it simply is a must to read from the very beginning to truly be able to navigate this incredibly emotional stories/series. I'm not a great lover of the Fae genre but from the first book have been totally absorbed into the series and its characters. Again in this instalment, "A Place of Rage and Ruin" readers will be left emotionally charged by the overall plot and the incredible characters created to take you off onto a truly wonderful world. With a final book to finish off the series I know I will be able to say what an incredible journey author Ellie Sanders has taken me on with her incredible story telling.

It is no longer enough for our heroine to protect just her friends. Now there are many depending upon her and it is time for her to step up.

This is book four of the series. It does okay as a standalone, but this series is definitely better if read in order.

This is a fantasy story featuring the fae. The story is well written and comes with a well detailed and fascinating setting. The characters are also well developed and provide an excellent cast for our story. Including the fae in the story means there is plenty of intrigue, as well as action making for a fast paced story. Overall, it was a lot of fun. I am definitely looking forward to the next book.

Highly recommended.

The series just gets better with each book. Fain continues to be my favorite and you can see the growth of his character since book one. His love for Alice, he would do anything for her and always thinks of her first. Alice she has had growth too but there are times that she may frustrate me. She has her moments in the book.
The story itself the author delivers to engage her readers. The covers to this books are also amazing and it’s exactly how I picture Alice.

I'm happy that High Prince Fain and Queen Alice are finally back together. But there was so much heartbreak that I found myself sobbing uncomfortably. I just really need the next book. The heartache has to be worth it in the end.

Plenty of plot twists and turns. Suspense, passion and a well developed story that I couldn't put down until the end.
