Here comes Bram and the Weasel!
Two unlikely heroes… Ok, they aren’t heroes or at least they don’t role that way. Real heroes don’t steal, don’t pay whores, and never lay with the girls that they save her lifes… But they have cloaks!

Rogues is a sword and sorcery comic book series about the adventures of a couple of reputed thieves, Bram and the Weasel, in the fictional city of Gerada. Their tracks will show the readers a world full of fights, wizards, nice girls and lots of fun.

Rogues, is part of the very beginning career of his creators, El Torres (The Veil, Suicide Forest, Drums, Nancy in Hell…) and Juan José Ryp (Black Summer, No Hero, Wolverine, Clone, Nancy in Hell…). Rogues is a story strongly influenced by the master works of sword and sorcery, specially Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, and Conan.

Pick up your money bags, and hide your pretty daughters cause this characters long time forgotten are back.

A funny cheesy and sexy bleak humour version of Fafhrd and the Gray Mauser, full of hilarious references like fantasy versions of Pulp Fiction's Marsellus Wallace, Young Frankenstein's Igor and much more.
Sadly this fist issue is the only one drawn by Juan José Ryp.

K tomuto som sa dostal náhodou pri hľadaní niečoho iného. Vtipné krátke príbehy ucelené do väčšieho celku. Brutalita spojená so sexi Weasel nádychom. Grafika super, Zápletka tiež vtipná. Ukradnú čarodejníkovi nymfo dcéru a ten ich za to preklaje stalkujúcou nesmrteľnou sliepkou.

Perhaps the following page of interior art, sums up best all the merits of this book. Humour, adventure & killer artwork:

description

Bram & Weasel, a heroic duo in the Sword-n'-Sorcerous tradition of Fritz Leiber, narrate their misadventures. On this first issue, they steal from a wizard, earn his curse and are haunted by... chickens(!).
Recommended for any fan of adventurous fantasy who is not intimidated by gore and/or nudity, as these are featured quite regularly on Juan José Ryp's hyper detailed artwork.
