Holy crap
I couldn't put this book down. I was in tears for parts and on the edge of my seat for others. There's heat and story and a kick ass main character and people who love her and drama and omg how did it all fit into one book? Immediately downloaded the 2nd.

I really loved this book. It took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I laughed, I cried, and I definitely got angry at some of the characters. The world building was amazing, and I felt like I was right there with the characters the whole time I was reading, and I really loved the storyline. The characters are written so beautifully. There was so much chemistry between the characters Change and Lance, as well as between Change, Kane, Sam, and Lexi ( I may be spelling her name wrong, so I apologize if I am). I couldn't put this book down, but obviously I had to on occasion because of life or I would have finished it in one day. This book is definitely a page turner. I recommend this book if you love a good storyline that is action packed and has some spice!

ARC review. I started this book very confused yet intrigued. The intrigue grew with each page. Wait, how does that person tie in and why is that person all the sudden involved with that type of twists and turns. I dont write synopsis type reviews, (that’s what the synopsis is for) but the storyline grows perfectly. The characters will leave you wishing they were real so you could grab a beer with them and at one point I wanted to put the book in the freezer so nothing would happen next. Only complaint would be that I can’t get book 2 yet.

oh my god.. this book took me for the biggest roller coaster ride i’ve ever been on… i’m being honest here when i say i’m finding it hard to form words.
started this book out change and lance captures my heart so fast. the love story between is ABSOLUTELY beautiful!!
i’m not going to go into the storyline because i highly recommend reading it for yourself. but i have never been so broken by a story before. there are so many twist and turns. it sucks you in right from the start. i can’t wait for the next book.
there is everything you could want. insta love, j@ck@ss villains, magic, some really really hot spice. like holy heck it was hot. i want a lance…

Wow these last couple of chapters!!!
There was a heart rate rising moment
between Change and Lance.
There was a mass of chaos
after that.
Screaming,yelling,betrayal,teleporting.
We find out someone is Alexander's
son!!!!
A sweat moment between
Change and Lance.
There is a brief moment
of peace and
then more chaos
Oh no someone is shot,
Change stops time,
and she is on the run
on her own
Please Lance find her !!!
I CAN'T WAIT to read book 2
Chapters 16-20
Lance's sister Jolene is Change's father's doctor WHAT!
There was an argument between Change/Lance and Change's father oh no!!!!
Bravo for Lance to stick up for his girl,
another vision for Change.
Viktor is back,but Change broke up him and Lexi
(finally).
Change tells Sam and Kane her plans for after
graduation.
Another altercation with Change's dad and his gang.
Oh Lord the things that Change does to her
father and his gang,especially Niles
Another vision from Change
Egor,why did I see the guy from Young Frankenstein lol.
Change's house won't live up to all the ware and tare
that Alexander's advisors do to it.
Sam and Kane helped Change fix her door.
Another vision from Change ,
she updated the security at the house.
Oh no there has been a major accident
poor Lexi and Change.
Chapter 18,19 and 20
We go through the whirl wind of the accident with
Change.Visions,emotions,fights,depression,
more visions,good days and bad days.
I don't want the story to end,I know it's coming to a
close because I'm getting book anxiety.
Chapters 11-15
After breakfast Lance and Change goes
for a hike,gets lunch and gets her a new phone.
As soon as they get home,Sam face times,
says Lexi told him not to call Kane.
While making dinner Lance and Change talks about Kane.
We learn a little bit more about Change's past.
There is a sweet moment between
Lance and Change.
What is with Viktor he is so rude and no one likes him?
Lance tired to be nice to him,but Viktor was rude to him.
Viktor tries to act all tough,buy Lance blows his bluff.
Sam and Lance finally meet through FaceTime.
Sam says he likes Lance more than Viktor.
Wow not only does Lance cook but he does the dishes,
so sweet.There is more flirting and sweet moments in
the kitchen between Lance and Change.
Oh no another stand off with Viktor,
again what is his problem?
There is a funny conversation
between Lexi(via her bedroom wall),
Change and Lance in the bedroom.
I actually snort laughed out loud.
Ohhhh boy,Oh boy a heart rate rising moment
between Lance and Change,but that darn
Viktor interrupted it.
Change had a short vision the next morning.
Oh no there has been a fire at one
of Lance's restaurants.
Lexi brings coffee in for Change.
Another face time from Sam and Kane
There is a scuffle between Change
and another one of Alexander's advisors.
There is some girl time with
Change and Lexi.
Lexi tells Change she caught Viktor doing
something weird the night before.
What a weirdo,you want to know
read the book.
The last few paragraphs in chapter 12
will have you snort/laugh out loud.
The girls do some errands and when they get
back home Change had another vision.
The girls share some drinks at home.
I'm going to say Chapter 13 is my
favorite chapter so far.
Although Viktor interrupted again geeez.
Again Viktor busts through Change's door
the next morning.
Lexi tells Viktor to leave and not go in
Change's bedroom again

but this time she lets him in and talk.
He tries to convince her to work with Alexander,
but again she refuses and he leaves.
Kane face times her and he is acting weird hmm.
Chapter 15 we get a chase between
Change/Jolene vs Franklyn and his people.
Change and Jolene was going to get
a bite to eat,but Change and his people
beat them to the restaurant.
They try to convince Change again to join Alexander.
They have a weird awkward dinner,
what is her father's problem with Lance?
After the awkward dinner,Change gives the
waitress 100 dollar and when
Jolene and her go out to the parking lot,
the waitress comes flying out crying
and thanking Change.
She has a vision and it seemed weird
Chapters 6-10
Ooooooh do we have a budding romance starting,
so cute? A conversation between Lance and Change
about what they and their abilities.
Aww Lance even cooks her dinner,he is a chef.
During their conversation while he is preparing dinner,
Change has a vision,hmm what can it mean?
Lance can hear what Change is saying in her head,
or is she saying it out loud?
They continue their conversation and Change
is feeling something.
Ooooh wow Lance opened a restaurant in my home state.
I love to see my home state in tv shows,movies or books,thanks Kat.
There is ALOT of teasing between Lance and Change.
Oooooh boy Oh boy a heart rate rising moment,
oh man interrupted by Vikor(Lexi's boyfriend).
No one like Lexi's boyfriend Viktor,
what's up with that?
Chapter 7 in the beginning has me sort laughing
Change had breakfast with her dad,they
also have a conversation about their family and abilities.
Change has to go to a black tie dinner her dad invited her too,but she has a vision and runs home.
Change's dad and the king has his(the king's)advisors shower Change with gifts,but she won't accept them
,but I turn she makes Jean embarrassed.
The teleporting that Lance does reminds me of
Edward from Twilight.
After the horrible day,Lexi goes out on a date with Viktor and Lance wants to cook for Change,but no food.
Change showers after she orders the food.
After she showers she comes down stairs,
and see Lance looking at the pictures on the wall.
We learn that Change and Charlotte had a sister
named Faith.
The food comes and one of
her classmates is the delivery person.
When he see Lance he gets all bashful.
Lance and Change eat,but he tells her what's wrong with the sandwich.Oh no a face time with Sam,but she tells
him she can't talk,and he says that he will keep annoying her. She hangs up,calls her 'spies' back home and turns off her phone.
While Lance checks his email,Change sketches Lance.
He catches her looking at him and oh
she lets another thought out lol.
She shows him the portrait
and awww their first kiss.
Oooooh can it be a heart rate rising moment,
darn you Lexi for interrupting.
Change tries to seduce Lance,but he won't do anything
when he was drunk.
He told her to "Behave you heathen"
I snort laughed this was so funny.
The next morning Lance gets under the covers
with Change,heart rate rising moment,nope just
teasing and interrupted by Kane by face time.
What is Kane's deal,he doesn't like Lance.
More teasing and a serious question,
want to know read the book.
Jean shows up again with another gift and
again Change embarrass' him(poor guy lol).
Change and Lance go food shopping and
he buys things for him to cook for her aww.
He buys the groceries before she can pull her wallet out.
Another FaceTime this time with Sam and Kane
and they kinda meet Lance.
Jolene who is Lance's sister wants to have a day out with Change for saving her life.
They go to the museum of medicine,
they go back to the house Sam and Kane FaceTime again.
There is a screaming fight between Lexi and her brothers,she goes ballistic and throws Change's phone
on the floor and breaks it,ugh oh.

My Newest Series Obsession
I could not put this book down. It has everything! Action, romance, steam, and a wide range of emotions. Each read through only enhanced my experience.
Change can see the future but the way in comes in is chaotic at best for her. There is so much development between who she is at the beginning and who she transforms into after her world is shattered by her estranged father.
Lexi… ugh I love Lexi and didn’t see that coming. that’s all I’m going to say there.
Lance! You have stolen my heart. Definitely my type and I loved getting to see so many angles of him as Change responded to the depths of what happened around her.
Paul is a character I want to keep my eye on!
I am on the edge of my seat waiting for book two now! This is not a series you want to miss out on!

This book has been one of he best reads so far. I have loved every part of the story and every little detail involved. There were so many characters in this story and each character is memorable in their own way. I however found the main characters, of course, to be my favorites. Change Yilmaz is the leading female main character who has the ability to see the future and each vision she has is a glimpse of every “what if” that could happen and every choice she makes either solidifies that course or changes it altogether. Her character growth as well as her gift’s growth from the beginning of her story to where this book ends is enthralling. The leading male character, Lance, is the kind of book boyfriend I would Die for; he is headstrong and arrogant but above all, loving and protective. Th way the author describes his eyes 🤤! I can’t wait to see more of him in the next installment of this series and hopefully more on his past. Lexi is the sassy best friend of Change that will captivate you with her charm.
The suspense just keeps building with this story from the first page to the very end and will leave you begging for more. It is captivating, magical, mysterious, action-packed, and at times a little heartbreaking. And let’s not forget about the steam 🌶️ 10/10!!

This story has so many twists and turns throughout it. It is an amazing story that pulls me in and kept me glued to it. The emotions felt throughout the story will have you laughing, crying, and feeling all the characters emotions as the experience the different emotions themselves. Change was an amazing FMC. She is tough when needed but yet is sweet and caring when also needed. She has so much love for those that she care about in her tiny little body that it is felt throughout the story. Lance is you arrogant when needed type but not in a way that makes him look and act bad. It is in a way that only makes him a more interesting character to the story. I love the twist and turns that were added to the story. The storyline was unique and original. It is extremely well written and developed. It will have you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. Then we get to the ending of this book and you absolutely go into shock with that cliffhanger. It was completely major and unexpected. I absolutely can’t wait to see what happens next.

Holy dogs ears, what a rollercoaster of emotions this book took me through.
This book is about a young woman called Yilmaz who is a total comedian that can see into the future. She finds herself dragged to a complete wasteman of a guy called Alexander who thinks he’s the dogs 💩 when in reality he is just a psycho.
When I say I was in for a rollercoaster of emotions, I mean a ROLLERCOASTER. One minuet I’m sat crying at how absolutely hilarious this book is and then the next I’m ugly crying at how evil this world is. Then I’m laughing again, then I’m taking a cold shower. Repeat 20 times and yeah, I was so unstable even my dog left me.
The book is well written along with the characters, it’s predominantly a Dual POV so you get the feel of both sides. I’ve added the blue eyed ‘stranger’ to my never ending list of book boyfriends OFC. Now the wait until the 22nd until I can get my hands on the sequel.
Overall, did I enjoy this book? Hell yes.
Do I plan to read the following book? Yes.
Would I recommend this book? Yes, to everyone. Heck even my nan.

need the next one ASAP
This book was so good! It did take a bit longer than normal for me to get really into it but once I was sucked in it had my full attention! There were a few big surprises I definitely didn’t see coming and one of them is absolutely devastating! I didn’t think it was real at first. Another one is really awesome and I can’t see what comes of it in the next book because it has sooo much potential for cool things! I really want to know what all the royals hate so much about lance, I feel like there’s something in his past that he’s hiding that could make or break the relationship???? And Uhg I need more Kane and Sam! I love them both so much and their banter. And just and fyi there is a MAJOR cliffhanger at the end.

Heat level: 4/5. How good is this story? I started with book 2 thinking it was book 1 and didn't stop reading until 150 pages in when I realized it was the wrong book. I spoiled stuff for myself and was bummed I couldn't keep going even though I didn't understand everything that was happening. Idk how many books it's been since I read Fantasy that happens in the real world, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I can't wait to finally finish the next one. This dude makes it seem like he would be happy eating her out all day. When he edged her out, I almost slid out of my seat. Dick game is strong with this one. It IS a slow burn though so don't expect them jumping into the spice immediately. He definitely falls first too. That ending was wild.

This book was incredible! It had everything I was looking for! I really couldn’t put it down, even though it took me almost 2 weeks to read. I was reading every single second I got during that two week. I accidentally read a few paragraphs of the third book 1st. And I was really really confused. I was thinking to myself that maybe everything comes out towards the end of the first chapter. I decided to see which number of the series the book was and I realize it was the third! No wonder I didn’t make sense! This first book is really really good! The writing is on point. The explanations of the background and the magic is incredible! I’ve already started reading the second book and can’t wait to finish.

In this fantasy story of people with certain gifts and hide among us normal humans, there is definitely a romantic side also. One day , Change is whisked away to a world she doesn't want to be a part of, but apparently it is her legacy. When Lance is constantly coming to her rescue, what else can happen - but a bond of love. I really go into Change and Lance's story, but also the bigger history surrounding them. When I got to the end, all I wanted to do was read the next book in this series. Loved this book - 5 stars.

This book was such a worldwind!! Action, adventure, disaster, happiness it has it all this book definitely kept me on my toes and kept me guessing about what’s going to happen next. I love the way the text was formatted, it made it really easy to follow what was what. I loved Change’s growth into her powers and I admire her lack of self preservation. As much as I want to say more, I’m desperately trying to avoid giving spoilers so I’m gonna end here. This book was great and holy cliffhanger!!

This is a great start to the new series, The Yilmaz Chronicles. Once I got really into the book, it was so easy to become invested. This has a rollercoaster of emotions. I enjoyed the suspense and intrigue that came with it. This is an amazing read that is a great introduction to this amazing cast of characters.

Okay, this book took me on a bit of a roller coaster ride. Also, I cannot get over that ending..is book two done yet? 🤣
Seriously though, this was a great start to a new series and it kept me intrigued the entire time. My favorite (obviously) is Lance, and I'd love to punch Victor in the face. I can't wait to see how this series progresses and look forward to the next one!

I absolutely devoured this book, the voice of the author was exactly what I prefer. The storyline was captivating, the FMC was sassy which I absolutely love! This book had tension and angst and the SPICE was A+! This series is my newest obsession & I can’t wait for the next book, I am drooling in anticipation!

I absolutely could not put this book down. It was gripping and held you in till the very end. I love the characters. This book is funny, wild, has lots of twists and turns , a little sad and the right amount of spice. I highly recommend this book be warned its an addicting read.

What a fantastic unexpected find!!! This is HIGHLY recommended. It had me hooked starting on chapter 1. The spice is nice, the characters spunky and well developed. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book! Do yourself a favor and give Kat Bethel’s creative work a whirl, you’ll thank me later.

WOW. I feel In love with the book by the end of the first chapter. I couldn’t put it down, the cliffhanger at the end already has me starting the second book in the series!

Done so well, my eyes feel like sandpaper cuz i couldnt put it down and pulled an all nighter.... So fumny aswell, and emotional. Got a few goot tears out of me and laughs that i almost choke. Really recommend it to everyone. Its different, exciting, tens full, emotinal... Its a wonderful Rollercoaster.

I don't know why I waited so long before diving into this book. It made me feel so many things at one point I wanted to throw it because it put me through the ringer lol. It definitely tugged at my heart strings a little bit but it also made me laugh and left me on the edge of my seat. Change is definitely an amazing FMC. She is so caring and funny I just love her.
