Behold: Humanity!: Victory or Death
The Confederacy/Council Conflict has been interrupted by the return of the vile Atrekna, who view the entire universe as nothing more than resources for their own people to collect. The Lanaktallan cannot withstand the Confederacy military forces, the Precursor Autonomous War Machines, or the Atrekna's biological war systems and are on the edge of collapse. The Confederacy has been caught in between maneuvers, with its most powerful units out of position. The Atrekna are everywhere, overrunning world after world.
Lowly gunner Ha'almo'or finds himself thrust into a desperate situation that will test his mettle in ways he could have never imagined. Vuxten has found himself, once again, trapped below ground while his command worries he's going to blow apart part of the continent. The Night Terran continues to terrorize the Lanaktallan politicians, embarrassing the Terran Confederacy of Aligned Planets. Dreams of Something More discovers the terrible truth of the past. P'Thok returns as he faces off against the terrible Grunch and totally on purpose and not at all accidentally saves Christmas.
For the natives of the Cygnus-Orion Galactic Arm Spur there are only two choices.

More of the weird, wacky and combat oriented. You could look at this as a representation of the 40k universes Dark Age of Technology. Or just a bunch of stories with Easter Egg fun.

I read the entire serial as it was posted on Reddit, bought all the books. Looking forward to the 12 year long Netflix/Amazon/Apple series when they pick it up.

awesome world and learning more of pre-diaspora humanity is exciting!
I love the direction you are taking the series and world though and guess I would like maybe one or a couple more slave species to be revealed since the war is going on for this long.

insanity
I thought the grinch story was kinda stupid…then they started quoting Rocky Horror Picture Show…then I finally understood. Genius.
I’m sure I missed more references than I got. Still fun.
