A spare bedroom.
A years’ long unrequited crush.
What could possibly go wrong…

I’m a planner to a T and driven by routine, but even I couldn’t have foreseen the rental house I’m living in going into foreclosure.

Enter Griffin Autz, my best friend’s younger brother, who offers me his spare bedroom.

Do I want to be living in his personal space? No.

But with no other choices available in our small town, I accept. It should be fine—as long as I can hide the feelings I have for him, something he’s been oblivious to during the past six years.

No worries.
I’ve got this.
Easy peasy.
Or not.

Living with him, seeing him day in and day out–constantly shirtless–fuels the fire within me.
Then one drunken night, I kiss my new roommate.
And it seems I’m not the only one who doesn’t want to stop at kissing…

I received an ARC of Cold Brew. Thank you to Taylor Delong for letting me read this one early!

I am working my way through this series and started with book 3. I fell in love with Swayer and Kadence as well as with Taylor's writing. I enjoyed Cold Brew; however, I felt there were some areas where I needed more information.

Summary: Brynley is one of the Creamery Crew and has been crushing on Griffin forever. Griffin is Swayer's business partner and Stevie's brother. Stevie is Bryn's best friend. When Brynley is forced out of her apartment, Griffin offers her a place with him. Bryn is nervous to be this close to him, her crush, but soon they begin to become more than roommates.

Bryn - she was smart, confident, and embraced her "flaws." She was relatable and I liked her.

Griff - he was a sweetie. IMO, he was too sweet. I felt that in many ways he just rolled over to everything Bryn wanted. I understand that this plays into their relationship and dynamics - brings her balance. It just felt like he was too soft - NOTHING bothered this man.

My only complaint about this book was that I felt as though I was missing information. Maybe these things came earlier in the series (like I said, I'm working backwards - my own fault) but I felt that there was more to Bryn's family dynamic that went unexplained - what happened between her and her mom, why did they leave Canada, what was the deal with the grandfather? Was it really just a case of a family leaving because they weren't close? It felt like there was more to it but it went nowhere. Same with Griff's family - it seemed like there was more with his family that was left unsaid. I would have liked to have seen the characters explore this as they built their friendship/relationship.

All in all while there were little things I would have liked more information about, it was still a great book and a perfectly sweet ending to this series. These two characters were due the spotlight and were adorable together. If you enjoy light, sweet romances with a bit spice and an HEA then this book may be worth checking out.

I received this as an ARC but all opinions are my own.

I didn’t think I would come to like Brynley after the way she treated Tyson in After Eight. But I ended up relating to her in a lot of ways!

I really liked what I saw of Griffin in the previous books but to really be inside his head was fantastic! I really liked him as a character and as a partner for Brynley!

I also really liked the period talk in here! I know it wasn’t super major but it’s usually something that’s glossed over in romance books.

My only complaints about this were that I feel like things were left out. Like why was Brynley’s relationship with her mom the way it was? Why didn’t her parents not want to go back to Canada after they moved? Also what was up with Griffins parents? Like, I just feel like things were brought up and then not explained or explored like I was thinking they would be. Also, there’s a lot of talk about calories and fat being used in a derogatory way. So definitely watch out for that if it’s triggering. It definitely gave me the ick. Like they couldn’t just enjoy the food in the moment but had to also be thinking about working it off later and how many calories they were eating? Idk it was weird. I know they were both into fitness but sometimes those comments really felt unnecessary.

Other than that it was a great end to the series! I loved the call backs to previous books and to see everyone in the Creamery Crew successful and settled in nicely with their families 🥰

I wasn’t quite sure how I’d feel another Brynley, but I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed her. Griffin? Yeah, I already knew I liked him and wanted him to find happiness. But spending this time with both of them made for the perfect tale of friends to roommates to lovers to almost done to everything. And that “almost done” hiccup was because of someone else’s big mouth, but definitely did hurt for a bit. I was afraid it would be a bigger hurt, but luckily, communication came to the party and saved the day.

These two have an excellent balance. Her quirks work with his, their motivations mesh nicely, and boy do they throw sparks together. I also really like that ice cream might have been what started this whole series, life outside of the frozen dairy goodness become the glue that holds it together and kept me wanting more of Brynley and Griffin. I’m sad our time with them is done, but this is absolutely the story I’ve been waiting for from this series!

I loved reading Griffin and Brynley’s story! It wasn’t my favorite of the CVC crew, but it was so sweet. I gave it a 4 just because the dialogue was a little hard to follow at some parts, and I think the ending was wrapped up too quickly for my liking. But the relationship between Griffin and Brynley was perfect, and they have such good chemistry!

Something is Brewing ☕️🍻

**I received an advance copy of this book and am giving an honest review.**

- Best Friend’s Brother
- Close Proximity
- Longtime Crush

All of the ingredients for a perfect batch of your favorite brew (coffee, beer, or ❤️)

Bitter Creek is the perfect background for all small town romances. And in Cold Brew we see how Brynley and Griffin decide to cross the line and explore what’s on the other side of the street.

If you love small town romance and feel good love, this is the perfect read for you. Taylor doesn’t disappoint in her continued exploration of the relationships within the town of Bitter Creek and the love that we continue to find there.

The Creek Valley Creamery characters have found a place in my heart. I was thrilled to start Cold Brew. After years of crushing on Griffin she jsut might get her happily ever after.

She finds herself in a situation of forced proximity after her rental was put in foreclosure. Without thinking Griffin told her he had a spare room. Let the dance to love begin. I Couldn't wait to see what they got themselves into. Their dedication to creating Dad's Garage Brewery was inspiring. Making this story even better is all of the members of the OG will be back together sitting around a firepit.

Cold Brew was my first ever Taylor Delong book and it’s safe to say it definitely won’t be my last! She had me giggling and kicking my feet for at least 80% of the book.

From the very beginning of the book Brynley and Griffin’s friendship was so amazing to watch. The way Griffin did everything in his power to make sure Brynley felt like she was always at home and welcome in her new living situation was so nice to see, especially because it was from the male.

I didn’t quite understand Griffins mindset and why he went awol when he found out about Brynley’s long term crush but I also haven’t read the other books in the series and that might explain it more haha. I’m glad he figured it out and worked through his thoughts and emotions!

I loved how we got to see a male anxiety rep, I think it’s so important in books and we don’t see it a whole lot. I loved that we saw Griffins internal thoughts and feelings about his new career move and how worried he was that he might fail.

I thought the pacing of the book was spot on and nobody rushed into anything too quickly (no matter how bad they wanted to 😂).

Another thing i absolutely adored was the found family aspect in this book. I loved seeing how the entire group came together for brunches or fires and drinks, i loved seeing how they all formed around Griffin to help with his aspiring business, and I loved how they were always there for both Brynley and Griffin even if they weren’t there for each other (iykyk).

Griffin and Harrison had my heart bursting everytime they shared a scene. I get you Brynley, my ovaries were bursting.

Overall such a good reads that I couldn’t recommend more!!

I haven’t read the books before this but be sure I will be now.

I was very lucky to receive this arc. I absolutely loved all of the crew in this book. I had an idea that Brynley and Griffin would end up together. I really liked their dynamic. I smiled so big when I read that he offered up a spare room and she took the offer.
I love how close Griffin is with his nephew and sister. Knowing how great of an uncle he is just shows that he’d be an amazing dad one day.
It was really great that the whole crew pretty much had their lives together. Jobs, friends. Without having read the other books I am sure it took work to get them all where they are at now. I thought it was absolutely amazing of Brynley to give Griffin the money to help out with the brewery. That’s when you really know that her crush on him turned into love.
I was real upset with Griffin when he ingnored Brynley while she was away for the 6 days. I didn’t see why knowing she had a crush on him for a longtime would make him mad. I may have screamed at my phone while reading that part. But I’m glad he got his head straight.
My absolute favorite quotes from this book are when Brynley says “ you weren’t supposed to steal my thunder “ and then when Griffin said “ I had to borrow some. Without your thunder, our storm doesn’t brew strong enough. “

Those lines will stick with me forever. As will this amazing book.

I received an ARC of this book - THANK YOU

This is Brynley and Griffin's love story.

Desperate for a place to stay Bryn is searching everywhere for a place. Then Griffin, a friend, a hottie, and a cinnamon roll speaks up and offers his empty room. How can she refuse? She'll just need to keep herself in check. They quickly work up a routine and things are going great between them. What would happen if they slept together? Would that change the dynamics of their friendship? Or the group's friendship? What if this didn't work out? Crap!

Brynley was going to live with him. OMG! What was he thinking? He wasn't thinking, his mouth ran on its own accord. BLAH! In between trying to figure out his next move with the brewery, he's trying hard not to crush on Bryn. Griff is failing and wants her in his bed. Would she be open to that? What about a relationship? Can this work out for them?

This is a cute story between the 2 characters. My only issue was Brynley, I didn't feel like there was a lot to her. I guess I didn't see the same spark in her that Griff did. IMO Griff is amazing and the other host of characters are equally great, but Bryn just didn't cut the mustard for me.

Thank you Taylor Delong for this ARC! I loved Cold Brew so much. This story is so swoon-worthy. Pub date is 07/13/2024, ruuuuuuun. 🤍

Brynley finds herself needing a place to live w no one to ask other than her best friends brother if he could use a roommate. The catch is, she’s had a massive crush on him for years. When I say the sparks fly, wow. Griffin is so stinking sweet. He rolls w Brynley’s quirks and really they balance each other out beautifully.

The whole time I was reading, I was waiting for something huge to happen to threaten to destroy these love birds. While there was some hurt, I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t worse. I was rooting so hard for these two, it’s not even funny!

Brynley and Griffin might be my favorite couple of this series. I feel as though these books can be read as standalones but the characters do make appearances throughout.

I dedicated a post on my bookstagram to this book, check it out here:

Take a walk back into the world of the Creek Valley Creamery Crew. This time we get to dive deeper into the final member of the crew, Brynley. Everyone knows Bryley’s had a crush on her best friend’s brother for as long as she can remember. Everyone but the man himself that is. What are the odds that he is the only one who has room for her to live when she loses her home. Will Brynley be able to keep her secret or will being in close proximity to Griffin cause her to open up?
Griffin wasn’t sure why he invited Brynley to move in with him, but he sure does enjoy her company. With his dreams of opening a brewery, he can’t afford any distractions, but is Brynley just the person he needs to put his dreams in motion?
You won’t want to miss out on Cold Brew. Settle in with a bowl of your favorite ice cream or your favorite local brew and enjoy the final chapter in the Creek Valley series.

This was another cute book following members of the CVC. Taylor Delong does a great job creating the family connection between the group members which is what drives me to wanting to read every book of the series.

This book follows Brynly and Griffin, Brynly has a big secret shes not sharing and Griffin has a damaged view on things due to deception from a previous relationship. Forced together due to unforeseen circumstances, they learn to balance each other out until all the secrets come true.

My only complaints about this book is the lack of some details at time and conversations were a little rushed at times.

✨ARC Review ✨

Cold Brew by Taylor Delong
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is out TODAY!

Cold brew is book 4 of Creek Valley Creamery Series! Taylor does an amazing job creating a found family connection in the group. I highly suggest reading in order for no spoilers 😉

This book is by far my favorite in the series & I’m a little sad it’s done! Now I’m on the hunt for a peanut butter latte since Bryn & Griff rave about them in the book!

Thank you Taylor for allowing me to read early! Can’t wait to read more from you!

Book 4 in the Creek Valley Creamery Series.
Forced to move out of rental, Brynley is desperate for a place to live. At a party Griffin offers up his spare bedroom, little does he know that Brynley has had a crush on him for some time. Brynley did not let her crush stop her, with no other options she moved in with Griffin.
I loved how easy living together fell into place for the two.
This was a sweet romance and you got to watch their blossom.
I was so happy that Griffin found love and happiness.

I was given this arc for my honest review.

Griffin is probably one of my favorites 😍😍 I love to see the families continue to grow and read crossover characters. I feel invested in the whole Creamery Crew and love seeing all their stories. This is another great love story about a best friends brother and a long time crush. Slow burn, great storyline, drama towards the end felt a little forced I think it was made more then it should have been but I also understand needing to add some drama to the story. Good book, start with the first one so you get familiar with all the characters and continuing storylines surrounding the Creamery.

Cold brew is the fourth hook in the Creek valley creamery series from Taylor Delong.
In this book we get reacquainted with Griffin & Brynley.
Brynley has a crush on her brothers best friend which everyone knows about except for Griffin. Due to unforeseen circumstances Brynley is forced to move out of her house, Looking for anywhere to stay. Griffin has been living in silence for 18 months with a spare room he offers to Brynley.
These 2 could not be more different yet somehow they balance each other out.
Come follow their well written journey.

Brynley has liked her best friend’s brother Griffin for years so when Brynley is in need of somewhere to live and Griffin steps up offering his spare room she jumps at the chance. Friends to lovers, forced proximity, small town. Overall a cute read. A few parts were bothersome to me, like how Griffin iced her out when he finds out she’s had a crush on him forever. It’s at least acknowledged communication isn’t his strong suit. Nothing I’d rant and rave about, but still enjoyable. Griffin is attentive and sweet

It’s bittersweet that this is the final book in the series! I wasn’t ready for the end! Like all of Taylor’s books, this one was extremely well-written with equal amounts of spice and emotional entanglement. Loved it! While I did feel like the “main” conflict was a bit petty, I related so much to the quirks and traits of the main character and I love how she found a man who fit so seamlessly into her life! Definitely a great read and such a beautiful way to wrap up the series!

This book was a great ending to a wonderful series. Bryn getting her happy ever after, after watching all of the CVC crew fall in love. Her crush on Griffin was one that I think many can relate to. Best friends bothers are always a favorite to read. Also not gonna lie the part about peanut butter cookies made me put the book down and bake my own! This was a fun read and I teared up in all the appropriate places!

I loved reading and learning more about Brynlee and finding out what makes her tick and what makes her happy. It was fun to find out about her major crush on Griffin but how she kept it hidden for a long time. Griffin is a quiet person, a people pleaser and was so happy when Brn needed a place to stay so he offered her a room at his place. They truly did complement each other well. I loved seeing the other couples from this series as well.

I'm sad that this is the end of the Creek Valley Creamery crew. Brynley is the last of the crew to get her story. She's in need of a place to stay so Griffin offers up his spare room. Griffin offers his spare room?!?! Even Griffin was surprised what came out of his mouth. They were great roommates; they got along and were almost like an old married couple comfortable with and around each other. The chemistry was there and so was the attraction, but they tried so hard not to give in. When Stevie (his sister, her BFF) finds out, her reaction was far less than what they expected. Griffin may be Stevie's younger brother, but he's mature and ambitious. I loved his relationship with Stevie's son as well as the friendly banter among the CVC crew and their significant others. Not only did Brynley and Griffin get their HEA, but the rest of the characters from the other books were there to tie up the loose ends for the series. I enjoyed my time in Creek Valley and look forward to what the author has in store next.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Best Friend's brother is one of my favorite tropes and this story is done well. I love that Brynley and Griffin have know each other for so long but still have so much to learn about themselves. They have great chemistry from the beginning and I love how they work together to get their happy ending.

Taylor kept the story connected by ice cream and Bernie and this really help elevate the characters.

Brynley and Griffin have amazing chemistry! I think they are definitely a perfect match. I can’t even begin to say how relatable Brynley is. I love that we were able to have updates about all the characters. This was my favorite book out of the CVC series. It was the best way to end an incredible series and pull it all together. This was definitely a bittersweet moment!

I absolutely loved this book! Their story started out as just simple best friend’s brother to roommates to so much more. As I read their story I got so into finding out what would happen next and absolutely loved how they grew. I found parts that made my heart swell with joy for them and parts that I wanted to strangle them, but seeing them find their happily ever after was the best part.

One of my favorite tropes of all time is best friend’s brother, so I couldn’t wait to dive into this one. I was NOT disappointed in the slightest. I really loved this conclusion the 4 book Creek Valley Creamery series but I was so sad to see it end.
This one went by very quickly for me in the best way, it progressed well and I kept wanting to read “just one more chapter.”

I can’t believe this is the last book in the series. I think Griffin had always been my favorite and I loved his book. Yeah I know it’s Bryn’s book too but it’s Griffin’s. I’m not going to say much because I’ll give spoilers but I loved it and can’t wait for the spinoffs.
