Peyton Elizabeth finds that romance is like a cup of coffee. Sometimes she just needs that extra sweetness! Which is why Peyton chose to write in the erotica genre of romance (yes, with her favorite cinnamon coffee and large mug in hand)!

Peyton lives in the Midwest with a wonderful son and too many animals to count. She has a very supportive family which came in handy when she decided to switch her financial career of seventeen years to writing. As with most authors, Peyton has been an avid reader most of her life and dabbled in writing since her early teens.

We all have those times when reality becomes too much and we need something to lighten our hearts. The passing of Peyton's husband happened way before it should have and she lives to write the happy ending she didn't get to have.

Here's to lightening our hearts!

If you are looking for an erotic story that focuses on authentic BDSM, this has a lot to offer. The rules, the psychology, the logistics of the scenes and lifestyle are intelligent, well-written, and accurate. The author knows her subject matter.

If you're new to BDSM, this is a great toe-dipper. You can learn right along with the curious, open-minded heroine. There's not any over-the-top, cringe-worthy moments. While the tone is erotic, there are a modest number of scenes with actual intercourse. This is more an exploration of trust and exchange of power, and less about kinky sex.

If you prefer dark and forbidden, this isn't it. If you want romance and soul-depth love, this is not an erotic-romance. The words are spoken in the HEA conclusion, but I never felt the passionate, live-or-die connection between the MMs and F. That said, this book is fascinating and different, and most importantly, entertaining.

Becca’s job with an insurance company has just dissolved under her, and while she is sharing her woes over the job situation and her lackluster love life with a co-worker, a woman hands her a card for an organization called Safeword LLC.

After doing some research, she fills in the paperwork to become part of the group and have a pair of Doms working with her. For their part, Lane and Ross Ellison have been hunting for the right submissive for years without success. They have let Kennedy Van Camp search for them and can’t believe she has found the right woman so successfully. That is until they listen in on her interview with Becca. Then they realize this is the right woman for them.

Becca tries so hard to be the perfect submissive for them that she doesn’t realize they don’t want perfection-they want her with her spitfire personality. They are beginning to work things out when things go really wrong. Can this trio find happiness in spite of the circumstances?

This was a quick and entertaining read. I liked Becca, although I would have liked to have her stand up to the Ellison brothers more. And the brothers are real hunks, although there was a real dicotomy in how they shot her down for questioning things and then punished her to make sure she didn’t hide her personality.

Overall, though, this was an entertaining novella, with well drawn characters, some intense emotional issues and very hot sex . The book contains BDSM, anal play, and double penetration.

I will be looking for other books by this author.

The First Order is the first book in the Safeword LLC Series by author Peyton Elizabeth and introduces readers to Rebecca Schuler. Becca is on a mission of self-discovery, trying to determine what she wants out of her own life and sexuality. She has lost her job, her boyfriend because of her sexual needs, and she might just lose her home due to the fact she has no money now. But one moment in time changes it all.

Kennedy Van Camp over hears her story of woe and hands her a business card to Safeword LLC with the assurance she will find all she needs. After some internal debate, Becca decides to go for it—and what she discovers about herself surprises even her.

I admired Becca from the beginning. She is quiet and shy, but has an inner core of steel you can’t help but respect. She might be a sub in the bedroom, but she is not a doormat to be walked on outside of it.

Becca’s Doms come in the very sexy package of fraternal twins, Lane and Ross Ellison. While Becca is hesitant at first, Ross and Lane are certain she is everything they ever wanted. Like Yin and Yang, Ross and Lane are as different as night and day, but the balance of firm and tender turns out to be just what Becca needs to bring her out of her comfort zone.

Lane and Ross each take time to get to know Becca one on one, which I really enjoyed. The slow and steady approach, allowing Becca to grow comfortable with them before pushing for more, made them the perfect Dominants for the unsure sub.

The BDSM in this book is used to enhance the characters and plotline rather than the kink of the sex scenes. I could feel the trust level gradually building throughout the course of the story, and the BDSM elements play a crucial role in bringing this threesome closer together.

I for one am really looking forward to the next book in this series. Ms. Elizabeth has a series I want more of, and I can’t wait to find out which trio surrenders next to the power of love.

Disclosure: This ebook was provided to me free of charge through for the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.

First of all I would like to say I am a big fan of Ms. Elizabeth's other series Menage.com, so I was thrilled when she offered me a copy of this book to review.

The book cover is always the first impression of the book. I love a sexy steamy cover with hotties to drool over so this one was disappointing. I hate the Fifty Shades trend of cover art. I have an ereader so I can read naughty books anywhere and have sexy cover models to imagine as the heroes!

I really like the concept for this new series, an agency that places Submissives with Doms. It is really intriguing. The downside is that this first book feels rather remedial. I am a fan of the genre so I know a lot about it from reading other books and this was very educational.

Becca is a really well thought out character who is new to the lifestyle. The whole premise of her book deals with training, that lends to the BDSM 101 feel of the story. There is great detail for anybody who is curious about the lifestyle and the author really gets into the mindset of the characters.

Logan and Ross were really interesting but I wish they could have been more dynamic. They felt more one dimensional to me, until the end when they showed more range. They also fell flat in a few conversations. The situation they were talking about felt unrealistic, it was more for the reader to gain information than a real talk between brothers.

The steam was more scene play and less intercourse. The scenes were really detailed and it was interesting to see how they played out. I usually enjoy books with lighter play and a brattier/sassier gal. I was not put off by the BDSM but it was not a style I am usually into. It gave me more of an insight into the lifestyle. The training was much more involved than I would have expected.

This story was not so much about romance. Actually there was very little. I would have loved more about the time they shared together and how the feeling blossomed. The feelings felt secondary at times. Perhaps it is more realistic to the lifestyle but I prefer more romance in my erotica.

All the critiques aside there was enough story to have my crying over their relationship! So, something had to have been right!

Ms. Elizabeth also did a terrific job of drawing you into future books of the series. She gave a taste of several great personalities that I am dying to hear more about! I am definitely intrigued and will be waiting less than patiently for the next book. This was a good start and I have great hopes for the future of this series!

OK SO I met this amazing author and kinda fell in love with her sweet personality and fun, sassy side. I was the lucky winner of her basket at the Romancing the Plaza signing I went to in Kansas City, MO. After chatting with her, I knew I had to finish what I was reading and dive into her BDSM book...peps I was reading YA before this book so talk about 360 in reading directions...LOL

Where do I even begin? I loved the concept of this novel for starters. I think it is a cool idea that there is a "secret" business that can match up a submissive (either novice or experienced) with dominates....plural as in menage baby!!! So here is the low down, Becca is outta work and her boyfriend says she is a freak for wanting to be tied up and spanked. Well Kennedy (the woman who runs Safeword) overhears her convo and gives her a business card. Becca goes on line and submits an application. She shows up for her interview not knowing that brothers Ross and Lane are watching. They see Becca as PERFECT!!! She has zero training and they are so excited to work with her. Now Lane is kinda the uptight of the 2 brothers where as Ross is care free. I definitely was attracted to Ross at first but once Lane let his fears be known I warmed toward him totally.

Becca is a typical woman who is soooo not happy with her body. She isn't model skinny and has curves a plenty. The guys love it about her but her insecurities defo cause her some troubles. I think the men do their best to reassure her but typical woman, she still hates on her body image. So throughout this novel Becca gets into "trouble" and the men are there to "train" he to be their perfect sub. When the relationship seems to be working in the right and positive way Lane is a jackass and screws things up. Good think Kennedy isn't afraid to yell at the dominate to make him do everything to get Becca back.

I have to say I enjoyed the way the author wrote the story. She would set up a scene and then the chapter would end and it would be hours later. Becca would then flashback to the scene that was being built up. I enjoyed this because you can get to the meat of a situation that way. Anyway that is just my 2 cents.

Well I was messaging the author to say "SQUEE I finished" which was quickly followed by "Who is next?" There is a bit of a set up and I was glad I was correct. The author told me that the next book is due out May 31st but pre-orders will be around the 20th.

my favorite line of this book spoken by Ross one of Becca's Sirs. "Would Becca finally realize that by not being perfect, she would make a better submissive". A Dom asks a sub to trust, that should be a two way street. The Dom(s)need to trust the submissive as well. I loved this book for me it rocked! From the patience that both Doms used to get to know their new sub. To seeing what she needed watching her every reaction. First a D/s relationship is in my view harder than normal realtionships. Mix that with a menage that puts in on a whole new level.
I so loved Becca her strength in making that first step, her passion at wanting to be the "perfect" sub for her Doms. The lil sass that slipped out. Her personality made her human and enduring. Not as in the "bratty" sub at all. But in the learning of who she is.
I adored the rest of the characters Kennedy rocked! and yes I saw James as a teddy bear cant wait to read more about Him.
The scenes were hot and awesome like as you read you could put yourself there. The Scene at Harrison's when Becca was being "helpful" at first read I was upset for Becca, then as the scene unfolded even I saw the point of the "lesson".
I was amazed and loved the fact that the Doms didnt have some dark seeded issue that they were hiding from. I truely love this life style when one can learn from reading a book that isnt "real" for me its a win win. I did want to strangle Lane.. just sayin. Cant wait to read book 2 Enjoy!!

Loved the set up. Fraternal twins, Ross and Lane Ellison, turn to Kennedy Van Camp, owner of Safeword LLC, to find them the perfect sub to share. Kennedy chooses to set them up with Becca, an inexperienced natural submissive, that she "knows" will be perfect for them.
The scenes are well done. The Doms are hot and the sex is, too. (Although, there are only a few scenes with actual intercourse.) The series shows a lot of promise, but this one wasn't amazing. It lacked emotional depth between the characters. Something you need, if they are going to start tossing the "L" word around. The h, Becca, had REALLY low self-esteem. She was weak, naive, and easily manipulated. I don't mind characters like that, so long as they learn and grow stronger by the end of the book. Unfortuneately, Becca doesn't seem to grow much. Something, that is glaringly obvious towards the end. And the ending... O Ho Ho, man, the ending ticked me off! My eyes were rolling so much, I am surprised they didn't fall out of my head.
I am going to continue with the series. I just hope the next has a stronger h and more emotional depth.

This is my first book by Peyton Elizabeth. I really enjoyed this book and looking forward to the next one due out June 30th. The characters were great with flaws we all possess. Our main characters are Lane and Ross Ellison (brothers) and Rebecca (Becca) Schuller. At first, I wasn't sure I would like the idea of brothers sharing but Peyton told the story in a way that makes me long for dominate brothers to want me. They balanced each other perfectly.

I was able to relate to Becca. She has all the issues as me and every other woman I know. Their chemistry was explosive. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters especially Ms. Suzanne. She gave such insight to Becca. Ms. Van Camp is very intriguing and I want to know more about her. If you haven't read this book, go buy your copy so you can have it read before the second book hits the stands. Can't wait to find out who book 2 will be about.

This was the first book I've read by Peyton Elizabeth and it certainly won't be the last!

Imagine the scene - It's Friday night and Becca is in a bar with her friend Sally, drowning her sorrows after having just been laid off work and not sure how she is going to cover her rent and bills. Whilst talking Becca tells Sally that when she asked her ex to tie her up he had called her depraved! A mysterious woman approaches them and gives Becca her business card and asks her to call.

I won't go much further because I'd hate to spoil anything for other readers but if you like intense stories featuring 2 very strong Doms (who just happen to be fraternal twins) and a female who always wanted to explore her sexual urges this is certainly one to read.

"The First Order" was a wonderful, written story. Peyton drew me in from the very beginning and I loved the chemistry that she created between Becca, Ross and Lane. This is one of those books that just spoke volumes to my heart, especially the statement...."if life had taught him anything, it was that happiness only came when one was true to oneself" It is rare that we are given the opportunity to find our true inner self. I am looking forward to the next story in the Safeword LLC, series by the talented Peyton Elizabeth

There was push and pull for me in this book. Becca needed to find herself but was trying to be a "perfect" submissive new to the lifestyle. Master Ellisons' were twins who wanted to train a novice. Safeword LLC was a placing company that worked magic.
Becca had self doubt that drove one Master to doubt her ability to be what they needed. She reserved her true self until they pushed it to the surface. Trust was a big issue as well as what drove them apart. This was a nice quick read with lessons throughout that will help any relationship grow and succeed. I just want to submit my app.

Really loved this book. The premise of the series is great. How wonderful would it be to have a person be able to pick the perfect Doms/submissive for you. Throw in that they are in a menage and I'm in heaven.
