LEA. I kicked him out of my bed, but now I needed him. He was the only one who could bail me and my family out of the mess I’d made. But then I’d owe him the rest of my life. And he was going to make me pay. CALLUM. When a goddess walks through your door with pleading eyes, and thighs wide open, you don’t say no. You burn the world down if that’s the price of tasting a bit of heaven. The addictive little assassin was going to stay in my bed, even if I have to tie her to it with ropes and a ring. Exposing Adonis is the conclusion of Lea and Callum’s enemies-to-lovers story which started with Exposing Atalanta, and cannot be read as a standalone.
What a way to end Lea and Callum's duet! Another book jam packed with plot and twists. The banter between them is great, and I think it makes the spice even better! I love how you can see the side characters getting set up for their own books, yet it doesn't take away from the plot at all! Next, onto Taming Achilles, I can't wait!
Molly Briar really did Lea and Callum's love story justice with the second book in this duet. I love how Callum is this big, burly, Scottish Baron who owns a security company, but is also the sweet and romantic one in this relationship. Lea is one of my favorite characters. She takes no sh!t from anyone and says the first thing that comes to mind.
Lea finds herself in need of a cover and credentials that Callum can provide in order to rescue her twin brother who has gone rogue to try to save a k!dnapped doctor. She must return to Callum to get the assistance she requires and he sees it as the opening he needs to win her over. I loved seeing these two work side by side to try to accomplish their rescue mission.
Callum works so hard to try and break down the walls that Lea spent her life building up around herself. The conclusion to this book wrapped up their love story well, provided witty banter, and really delves into the other characters in this series. I was not that excited to read Pippa's story next until I finished this book, as Molly Briar really paints her as a vapid and obnoxious social climber, until you get to the end of this book. And when I tell you I raced to to purchase the next book in the series and started reading it immediately...each book leaves you wanting more! Do not sleep on the Ungoverned Spaces series!
🔥Enemies to Lovers 🔥Reverse Grumpy/Sunshine 🔥Slow Burn 🔥Badass FMC 🔥FMC @ss as in 🔥Touch Her and ☠️
This is the second book in the series and it was so good being back with Callum and Lea. I missed their banter so much. The book started right where book one ended and I got sucked in 'till the end yet again. I just couldn't put it down.
Molly Briar has a way of writing that's just flowing off the pages and easy to read. She has put so much humor in this book. I have been laughing out loud so many times.
And I love Lea so freaking much! She is such a badass FMC. The things she comes up with are not only very funny but also very efficient. And then Callum, ohh how I love my men Scottish. He is ready to do everything for Lea.
All the characters you'll get to know more and more throughout the book and I like how the author interwined things from Iron Rose as well.
Oh and one more thing.. Alastair and his tea cups had me cackling 🤣 that man!
I can't wait for the next book!
Thank you author for the ARC to read. I left this review voluntarily.
Molly Briar knows what she is doing by splitting these GD books into parts. I am hooked. I had to get my hands on Exposing Adonis because of the ending of Exposing Atlanta!!!!! I love Callum when he's not overbearing and whiny. Lea is obviously my favorite, but the ending felt like it came out of nowhere. I won't say anything because it will spoil the end of the book but ... that's all I can say. Not impressed... I still really loved the book and the storyline that it followed. The two main characters working side by side sealed the deal for me. 4 stars because I think I liked the first book better??? "Adonis was the mortal lover of the goddesses Aphrodite and Persephone... widely considered to be the ideal of male beauty in classical antiquity." *eyebrow wiggle* I would love me a good Callum in my life, willing to go to the ends of the earth for me.
*edit* mad cause im about to buy the third book, i should have known better than to read the epilogue...
The second book was just as amazing as the first one and truly did our amazing couple Lea and Callum justice with it's ending, the book started exactly where the first book ended and I was hooked from the very first page, and I especially loved reading Callum describing Lea, I loved to read how he was totally captivated by her
The plot as expected was amazing, with great plot twists, I loved seeing Lea and Callum work together to make their mission successful, while I was also eating up the little snippets of the upcoming couples, can't wait to read them
I absolutely loved Lea, she's so badass and says what exactly on her mind, she doesn't take shit from anyone and knows how to stand up for herself
I also loved watching Callum slowly break down the wall around Lea's heart, their banter was amazing until the very end
I loved the charecter building as well the way each charecter was unique in their own way made it all even better
Okay, while I may have felt some type of way, when book 1 ended, this one went above & beyond my expectations, or even ideas of what to expect! I had no clue, obviously. 😳😅
Callum is a dirty talking alpha hole, who’s temper won’t just bring down a mountain, it erupts like volcano, and you should pray not to be in his crosshairs!
Miss Briar does it again!
The family dynamics were perfection, if she ever wrote a book just for these two? I’d be down for it! I love Lea & Leo’s banter, and she managed to bring in the side characters so nicely, they didn’t take over the story, but simply helped better & move the plot along.
Thank you for having me on your team! This was a fantastic read from start to finish.
What you can expect by reading the duet? Assassins Alpha men Possessive / jealous hero Found family Action Spice Development! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
So when I received this advance read I thought this was going to be the story of Lea's brother and the mission to safe the doctor that had been captive but to my happy surprise this was a continuation of Lea and Callums story (can you tell I like going blind when I read my books). Anyways. This was such an awesome end to their story. I love how Lea is such a deadly assassin but still so delicate in a way. The connection between this two was just explosive through out the entire story. Callum is determined to keep his Atalanta and will prove to her that they are meant to be together. Plenty of tension. Plot. Alpha power. Lots of Sassiness and wittiness. Undercover and secret identities. You definitely have to read it.
I looked at the ravished wench on my lap and couldn't help but grin.... Let's just say that start in chapter one, you are going to want to finish this read. This is the continuation to Exposing Atlanta and I could not put this book down. I was invested from the beginning. Lea is your sassy assassin who wants to help her brother, and she knows exactly who can help her. Callum is all too willing under one condition, she says she is his. Callum's love for her is unconditional and will do anything to make her his. The possessive alpha keeps Lea on her toes and will punish her *wink wink* when she disobeys. I can't get over this read. Molly, you did it again!!

What a way to end the duet for Lea and Callum; talk about plot twists - I did not see that ending coming. This book took the action and intrigue from the previous book and cranked it up. But the steam was just as steamy and intense, that didn't loose any momentum. One thing that I am really enjoying about all of Molly's books, but especially this duet, is how she is setting up the side characters to have their own stories. Often side characters feel like they are there to provide some small function - humor, wisdom, etc. - and once that role is fulfilled you don't see them again in that book. But Molly has a way of making these side characters fill important and impactful, that they are pivotal part of the plot. Cannot wait to continue reading more from the Ungoverned Spaces series. The plot line does carry from the previous book, Exposing Atalanta, and cannot be read as a standalone.
Once I finished Exposing Atalanta I dove head first into this one especially after that cliffhanger. This one was action packed and filled with drama and spicy. You learn more about Callum in this one and the rest of his friends and St. Michael's school they went to. And boy did I not see that ending coming. And I am not a fan of Pippa, Chloe, Alex, or Brett (little weasel). The way this ended definitely makes you have to start Taming Achilles right after because I still have so many questions after that ending. It was a combo of a HEA & a cliffhanger. You'll see definitely couldn't put it down once I started.
The second book in the series picks up with a rescue mission, bringing Lea and Leo into Callum’s team. Lea and Callum navigate their new relationship that is fiery, if not explosive, at times.
There is passion and electricity ⚡️ between Lea and Callum. I so appreciate the high stakes nature of their romance. We get delightful minor characters who add flair to the story. The plot twist and cliffhanger were *unexpected*, yet satisfying. The only negative for me was that I found Chloe to be a bit emotionally immature and insufferable- but maybe she will get a redemption arc later.
So it's the end of the Duology. A must-read. I got hooked within the first chapter. Lea is an assassin, Cullum hired to track her down. Falls completely in love and becomes madly obsessed. Lea is a strong and stubborn Filipino woman. Her twin brother and her work as nurses for their cover. Callum, a strong Irish man, engaged to fashion elite discovers what Lea is and chases her to save her and make her his. The story has comic relief and smut with a plot. AGAIN A MUST READ
I mean seriously Molly gave it to us right out the gate! I love Lea & Callum's story so much! Callum will give Lea anything thing she wants with just one condition---she tells him she's his!! The banter between the characters is one of my favorite parts & the SPICE!!! Wellllllll it's a 10/10 book for me!! Go read this now
Lea had just kicked Callum out of her life, when her brother calls her d3speratrly seeking the man’s help. Our poor a$sas!n is not blessed with good timing. So she follows Cal to his homeland in Scotland to beg. And how can he resist? But the shaky alliance comes with new terms: His mission, his rules, his woman.
He f%rces Lea to sit on the sidelines while he goes to rescue her brother’s love interest from a reb3l milit!a. Cal asks her to trust him to handle things - just as he is trying to trust that her feelings for him are genuine.
Dive back in with the Caledonia Security team and the Bonifacio twins is this epic romance. Geordie the broøding right-hand man, Hugo and Alistair with their constant commentary and Leo the master of d!sguise. Cal & Lea are P%SSES!VE (so hot!) but this time she’ll be the one to save the day (twice!). The cønspir&cy plot gets thicker and thicker.
Two things are certain: Although Lea may dine with these one-percenters, she will not hesitate to eat the rich. And if she drops a fork while doing it, Brett Bradley will be joining the meal.
This series - this AUTHOR - is just mind-blowing. Lea is the sort of FMC that people really need to read more often. She doesn't *NEED* a hero, she's ready to take on the world herself. Callum is the sort of MMC that will let her, but he'll have her back when she needs it. Their story is heartbreaking and amazing!
I loved this duet! It’s short and to the point. I love Lea, but I love Callum more. Their banter is funny, spicy, and I couldn’t get enough of them. The side characters are very intriguing, but Alastair is my favorite. This is a great start for my reading journey of this author.
What an amazing love story! As always Molly did an amazing job with this book. Two people pulled together in a weird circumstance. A woman tricked into a wedding she thought was just a joke. Then tragedy at the mini honeymoon. With a cliffhanger for the finally. Awesome!!!!!!! On to the next.
This story takes off after book 2. This the Callum and Lea continue of their story and their banter between them will have you laughing and loving this story from the very first page will pull you in.
Lea and Callum holy hotness. Their story sucked me in. They had off the charts chemistry and they melt for each other. He will do anything for her and she gives up control only to him. There is action, twists and steam. That ending, looking forward to Pippa story.
Love Lea and Callum. She's an assassin and he was supposed to kill her. I loved these two. Their story was a hard fought one. I am glad they came together. They make a great team. Loved how their story went. Glad they got to have their happy ending.
So good... Can't believe the secret of who was behind everything.. like I was really shocked. Also they are definitely hot together. Loved our couple even tho they are kinda crazy.
OMG I THOUGHT THE FIRST BOOK WAS GOOD THIS BOOK WAS EVEN BETTER WHAT A PLOT TWIST AT THE END SHIT! YALL THESE BOOKS ARE A MUST READ I SAY RUNNNNN TO READ THEM!!!! 🔟🔟. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Molly is brilliant in her world building and character development! Lea and Callum are such a fun couple (and the back and forth with them is relatable) and this second book did the first justice as a completion of their story... but we've not heard the last of them.
This was perfect. The banter, the character developments, and the world building was fantastic. I love how Molly always leaves you wanting more with the other characters in the book. I'm excited to read Taming Achilles!
Lea and Callum's story continues with so much action, humour and steam. Both strong characters. I loved their banter. A fabulous read with a terrific plot. Incredibly well written and so much fun.
Rating: 5.0 Spice: 5.0 This one was insane! A lot of action and chaos! It has a lot of family drama but it had a lot of love. These books feel like I'm reading a script for an action movie.
This is the conclusion of Atalanta and oh my gosh! This one is even better than the first.
Lea kicks Callum away because of their different backgrounds, until her brother calls and she realizes that they need his connections to help get Dr. Laurent back.
Callum claims her in more ways than one, dominating the strong woman in a way he didn’t know he could. Lea releases control to him, but only behind closed doors.
Their banter is some of my favorite I have read. And the side characters had me feeling all types of ways. I can’t wait to read the other books to find out more about these characters.
Molly does a great job of focusing on the main characters storyline, but also being able to construct a bigger plot line that keeps you on the edge of your seat to see what happens.
