I loved that each of these stories were really short. They were short and full of very well written steamy situations. I am not really one for erotic fiction, but I loved the fairy tale twist on each. There is a little something for everyone here and MaryLynn Bast does NOT hold back. I wish that there was a little more story in each, but these are short stories, so that is just me having wishful thinking. This is a good quick read with lots of steam!

Steamy Fairy Tales is a quick but satisfying read. I love short stories in general, so the collection was perfect for me. Each story is well written, steamy, yet still entertaining with its ties to mythology and the old fairy tales I love. It's a perfect companion to read while waiting for appointments or time is short, which for many of us is always.
What I loved--
There aren't retellings but reimagined stories based on the fairy tales and myths. It shows creativity for the author to be able to reimagine these stories while giving readers a solid grasp in each world.
Cog's Beauty and the Beast was actually my favorite because it gave me insight into a fairy tale I knew quite well but from the viewpoint of another character.
No previous knowledge necessary to pick up these stories. No sifting through backstory or feeling like you need to read another book/series to grasp what's going on.
If you enjoy erotic romance, both M/F and F/F stories are in this collection, and have a love for fantasy, give the collection a try. I only would've preferred at least one M/M pairing, but I do love my M/M romance. Wishful thinking? Maybe. After all, this is only the first collection. I'll definitely keep my eye out for more steamy short stories.

What an interesting collection!!
In Cog's Beauty and The Beast things get steamy for the staff!! I loved this one because one does wonder about the others cursed with the Beast! Fun steamy little read!
Goldie and the Three Girls was not a fav. Not really my style. I will admit to merely skimming it.
His Little Mermaid was a steamy adventure with the King of the sea!! Yummy and I loved the BDSM angles!!
A really fun collection of short tales that give each story a whole new twist! I would love to see more of these. So many other fairy tales to play with!!!

These weren't so much short stories as they were single chapters in what felt like longer stories.
The only one I actually liked was "Cog's Beauty and the Beast". That was the one that felt like the most actual story.
And I did like the phrase "Chip off the old clock"
Goldie and the three whatever... Yeah didn't like this one at all. It was crap.
His Little Mermaid... A Danish fairytale, that the author has decided to use Greek Mythology. On one hand, I liked that. But the execution was lacking. It was very rushed, and just lacked.
The only one I actually liked was "Cog's Beauty and the Beast". That was the one that felt like the most actual story.

"Head aching, he closed his eyes for a moment to calm his jumbled mind. He must have fallen asleep. When he felt a nudge on his leg, his eyes popped open and he jerked upright just in time to see a triangle cutting through the water past him.
Growling menacingly, he glared at the retreating fish. 'You run at me again, you little shit, and your entire kind will end up on the human's dinner plate as soon as I get my powers back.'
As if it understood Neptune's words, the great white shark made a wide sweeping turn. It made an ever widening circle before diving to the dark depths below the surface."...
That made me laugh out loud.
