Ari is just a regular avatar from Blockville who loves hanging out with his two best friends — Zeke, an obby and parkour pro, and Jez, the ultimate hacker and Queen of Tech. Ari can't believe his luck. Zeke's dad is taking them to see the epic new obby he has built for the army! But the school bully, Trip, is there too. When Trip climbs the obby and dares Ari to join him, Ari thinks it's just harmless fun. But the design of the obby means they have to finish it. Can Trip and Ari finish the obby? Or will it be game over for both of them?

I mean, it is definitely a “fast fashion” book. My 8 year old is still into this series though.

Kiddo's attention dipped in and out to start with, but once we got to the real obby he was very invested. We both liked that this book wasn't set in a different world like the others we've read from the series.

We loved this book. What an awesome obby challenge. Some avatars never change! The coolest part was when they finished the obby.

perfect for Roblox players

Motivating for reluctant readers who like Roblox games. The writing style is engaging as it looks like handwriting. Important vocabulary words are bolded. The illustrations are engaging!

Read this with my son. Very slow and repetitive start, but had some nice action towards the end.
