Another book that would have been 3.5 if that was an option. Whole stars is not enough!
Overall it was a fun but fairly middle of the road book, but had several moments with some pretty great writing and observations that raised the whole experience up.

Belle fable sur l'ambition et l'amour!
Avec plusieurs tableaux décrivant les personnages, leurs aspirations et qui gravitent autour de Geneviève, qui n'est pas la miss septembre du titre, François Gravel nous plonge dans les rêves et ambitions de tout à chacun!

pleasant detective style narrative, set in montreal. made me want to rob banks. her method sounds impeccable.
