This collection of short stories was good but didn't meet my expectations. It's absolutely written for people who like it when they have to puzzle out who the characters are, what they're doing, and what the purpose of each story is. I prefer being able to read and at least mostly grasp the plot upon the first read, and I think this book was labelled "lesbian short fiction" a little generously. Yes, there were lesbians, but I wish they were more central, since the subtitle implied it would be so. I would recommend this anthology to read but not to purchase/own a copy of.
