Brandy Miller has a wonderful way of getting her ideas across. I've just finished reading her latest book, The Write Time and am eager to share my review. I found this book to be not only very helpful, but also an enjoyable read. Her message is simple - if you want to write, you can create the time. She begins with a checklist of ten points that are used to identify if you need help making the most of your time.

Brandy has broken the book into six sections: The Write Motivation, The Write Life, Creating the Write Plan, Taking the Write Action, Avoiding the Write Obstacles and Staying on the Write Path. Each section is broken down into four easy to follow chapters. This is a book that you can read in one sitting, but it's also a book that is organized in a why that makes it easy to read in small bursts. Each chapter ends with a simple exercise designed to help you move forward. I found Sections 4 and 5 to be particularly helpful.

If you read this book from start to finish and complete the exercises you will find that not only have you completed The Write Time, you will also have The Write Plan.

As my son and I are working to complete our second book in The Wayward Gifted series, I am putting this book to good use and implementing many of the strategies recommended by Ms. Miller.

This is a book I recommend for anyone who is busy and determined to write.

There's nothing better than a book where every chapter helps you think through something that you really care about. Brandy Miller's "The Write Time: How to find all the time you need to write a book" is a great way to explore why you haven't finished that book you've been putting on the back burner for 20 years. Chapter 1 explains that you have all time the time you need and gives the reader a sense of relief. Something that has been hanging over year head - finishing a book - is not that big of a deal if you break it down into a goal: how many words do you need to write in the time you want to finish the book. Block out your time, eliminate distraction and procrastination and take control of your writing time. An amazing book! Great advice - straight from the heart.
