Ilimoskus: Times of Old

Rate this book
"Times of old are leaving, my friends; know that soon it will be the end." Times of Old is the first part of the Ilimoskus journey. Living amongst the humans of Earth is a race of beings unbeknown to them; they are Ilimoskus, the elemental beings of fire, earth, air and water. They are a most peaceful race who lead uneventful lives in harmony with nature, but one fateful autumn, the Flamikus (fire folk) feel the ground tremble beneath them in tension they have never before endured, and troubling concern starts to linger. Throughout this ever-growing tension, Fii'dezrhu Reotum - a rebellious Flamikus - discovers a momentous secret he then acts upon by venturing to the forbidden humans lands; while there, he inadvertently reveals the Ilimoskus' existence to one young girl. Little does he know that this sets in motion the beginnings of an earthquake so great, it will result in gruelling searches, confounding ambiguities, painstaking truths and heart-wrenching decisions. In time, both humans and Ilimoskus will watch the world they once knew crumble around them.

Jennifer's intention is to combine all her heart’s deepest values into every aspect of her life, incorporating her faith, passions, and morals into all that she does. She believes there is great power in creativity, if harnessed correctly, and aims to share pure, meaningful messages with the world through whatever she creates. It is her hope that these messages will touch the hearts of others, so that the world may be a brighter, kinder place.

She is passionate about inspiring a love of nature in the hearts of others, for she believes loving and respecting the natural world opens our hearts to love and respect every other aspect of life, and this then transforms our souls to encompass peace and charity.

It is her motivation to try to share the goodness, light, beauty, and wonder of the world with others, and inspire it in their own hearts and to see it with their own eyes.
