Learn to easily build gadgets, gizmos, or a simple robot using ArduinoWritten by Arduino expert Jeremy Blum, this unique book uses the popular Arduino Microcontroller platform as an instrument to teach you about topics in electrical engineering, programming, and human-computer interaction. Whether you're a budding hobbyists or an engineer, you'll benefit from the perfectly paced lessons that walk you through useful, artistic, and educational exercises that gradually get more advanced. In addition to specific projects, the book shares best practices in programming and design that you can apply to your own projects. Code snippets and schematics will serve as a useful reference for future projects even after you've mastered all the topics in the book.Includes a number of projects that utilize different capabilities of the Arduino, while interfacing with external hardwareFeatures chapters that build upon each other, tying in concepts from previous chapters to illustrate new onesIncludes some aspects that are accompanied by video tutorialsCovers EE and programming concepts, interfacing with the world through analog and digital sensors, and communicating with a computer and other devicesExplains how to combine smaller topics into more complex projectsShares downloadable materials and source code for everything covered in the book"Exploring Arduino" takes you on an adventure and provides you with exclusive access to materials not found anywhere else!
Probably the best book that you can find out there for Arduino learning. I personally was able to extract more useful information than youtube and other books combined.
I also definitely recommend using Autodesk's Tinkercad along the side for this book instead of physical arduino. The biggest reason why is because it takes a lot of time and different sensors/instruments that you may not have right away. And additionally you can easily store all of your small projects that you build throughout the book for future references, instead of having to take apart each time (Unless you have 10+ arduinos and many more parts with it, along with plenty of free space).
For anyone who is wanting to start to learn Arduino systems, and has a difficulty grasping everything, this book is perfect because it walks you all the way from the ground level to pretty much mastery!
This is a really useful tool for learning Arduino.
I've been working my way through this book for weeks, more intensively now that Covid has cost me my job. I love it. The explanations are clear and systematic, the diagrams and pictures are clear and helpful and the projects progress in an achievable way. This book has really helped my understanding of electronics and coding for Arduino. I will refer to it for years.
Good book learning the versitility and features of the Arduino boards. Complete with sketches to get you started. This book will give you a solid basic knowlege enabling you to move on to more advanced uses for the boards.
Research and refresher for an art installation I am working on. Great resource - great explanations, background, materials list, code breakdown (still provided on their site) and broad scoped. My project is specific and what I want to do is not really covered here, but this helped a lot.
Amazing, amazing, amazing book to begin the Arduino journey! It's clear, it's informative and it takes you by your hand step by step without confusing the reader.
A good intro to the Arduino. At a higher level than most intros but in this case that's a good thing. Higher level does not mean more difficult because Mr. Blum does a fine job of explaining it all clearly. I did not build the projects, nor purchase the optional accompanying kit, but if you're a beginner you should definitely do so. (I have enough Arduino experience to skip that step)
Undoubtedly, an amazing book to learn Arduino. It covers all the basic, intermediate and advanced topics. Also comes with a YouTube tutorial series. You can watch each episode and then read the corresponding chapter to fully understand the concepts.
A Fantastic Introduction, not only to Arduino, but also to the world of Electronics, Micro controllers, Electronics and Sensors. Also a very good book for teachers to use in class.
An outstanding introduction for the Arduino platform. This book includes a great deal of technical information that enables a reader to develop more advanced projects.
