I was disappointed after the 3rd book and hoped to see an improvement in the newest addition and I was not disappointed. This was a much stronger book than the last one and I enjoyed it. It definitely reminded me more of the first two. I enjoyed that the book seemed to be more about Drew and his crew mates and how they handled the dragon apocalypse. I did enjoy the fights agains the dragons again, this seems to be the portion that grabs my interest the most, and the introduction of Ray and Valerie and t Dia’s family as well. We get to see how they handle some more hatchlings, and what they may be capable of, and the drama with the government seems to be turned up a notch as well. It has a great movement that the last book didn’t seem to have and the connections between Drew and the ladies does seem to be a little more organic and true to their developed character arcs. The book leaves you at a nice cliff hanger as you start to wonder how they can truly continue their voyage to Hawaii.
A dragon apocalypse and sailing the high seas in an attempt to get back to family is a great way to start a series Add in rescuing gorgeous women from dire trouble and you have some thrilling and crazy antics.
And with book 4 there is more action, personal quests to be reunited with family and dangers on the horizon... And a whole new bunch of crazy that'll make the next leg of the journey hectic and crazy Can't wait for the next book!
I was really excited to see this next book in the series. I am really liking the way the group is handling the problems they face and the places that are named are fun to track as they are real. Can’t wait to see what they are going to do to go through the Panama Canal.
Okay , we’ve killed bunches and bunches of dragons ( adult and baby varieties) sailed the Caribbean, fought off the cartel, and the Coast Guard only to find the Panama Canal Infested with more dragons. Who is behind all this? The government? Or is it something or someone else? Will we ever reach Hawaii?
The author does a great job of walking the reader through the geography of the characters trip. The emotional attachments and upheavals are well described and portrayed. It is very easy to become attached to the characters because the author does such a wonderful job with them.
I cannot wait to get my hands on this series every time a new book is released, its quickly become one of my favorites! The adventure and characters are riveting! I can't wait for the next!
Another good book the series of our hero’s perilous journey, dragons, pirates, political corruption, violence, suspense, drama, and romance. Eager for next installment.
Drew and his female crew of four women sailing the high seas fighting off pirates and dragons. Lots of action, intrigue and excitement. Eric, you keep writing these type books and people will keep reading .
