Liam risked everything to protect Isa, including a lie he wishes he could take back. Now Isa wants answers and he has to do anything he can to change his lie into the truth. If Isa finds out before he does, he’s a dead man…. He enlists Grace to help him, but she’s too busy worrying about Jude to notice. She’s been in love with Jude for as long as she can remember and when he suddenly starts paying attention to her, she doesn’t know what to do. Liam and Grace both set out to follow their hearts, but will they break instead?
Kimberly Loth can’t decide where she wants to settle down. She’s lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, California, Oregon, and South Carolina. She finally decided to make the leap and leave the U.S. behind for a few years. Currently, she lives in Cairo, Egypt with her husband and two kids.
She is a high school math teacher by day (please don’t hold that against her) and YA author by night. She loves romantic movies, chocolate, roses, and crazy adventures. Kissed is her first novel.
Really do like this series of stories but omg what's with Obsidian. For a dragon who has been trained to be the king he really is clueless with no backbone. Maybe or hopefully this will change later in the story. The only one who has not changed throughout the story is Skye. The strongest characters are Isa, Pierre & Olga. There are some inconsistencies through the books. For example, in the first boxset Aspen & Sid are gifted with different abilities from the council one of which is to understand other languages. Yet when Sid overhears Jens speaking on the phone in another language he doesn't understand. What happened to their other gifts, the only one mentioned is Aspens ability to heal & Sid doesn't seem to have any. Did I miss something? Obviousvy solutions to their problems take so long for them to figure out its quite frustrating. But you know what, as frustrating as it is the storyline keeps me on edge & I can't wait to know what's going to happen next. So bring it on, I'll be here till the last book.b
Young love is never easy. Ida & Liam, Jude and Grace, Damon and Ruby, teenagers in love and sealed! All should be well, but that isn't even close to their reality. This book flips back and forth between the couples, never staying one place long...frustrating! This series of books is nowhere near its conclusion or even published yet, frankly I am not sure I can stand this pace much more. It is time to bring all the plot lines together and end it already!!! The first set of books, Aspen and Obsidians story was much better told, although packed with teenage hormones also.
I'm tired of being teased by this author. When you write that way you need to give your readers a big juicy nugget every so often to keep them interested. She does not! She'll give you a chaste kiss or a brief caress between 2 characters, but she won't give you juicy. Frankly it's old at this point. You want to do some teasing in book 1, fine, but this is set 3 (books 11-15) and at this point we still shouldn't be dancing around will they won't they. It's absurd and I will not read anymore of this series.
Ok another good set of books. These are more about Isa and Leam and all the drama around them but they are gettting closer and thing are starting to fall apart. So enjoy this group of books and on to the next boxset but then you will have to Waite because boxset #5 doesn’t come out tell September. What a bummer. So enjoy for now !!
Both Liam & Ruby are growing on me. I love the characters of Isla & Grace too. I have a suspicion now on who is trying to kill Isla & if Grace does kill who it might be. Enjoyed it more than set 2 but still not as much as the first boxset.
I'm in love with this whole series. The story line is intriguing, exciting and wonderful. I especially love the different story plots and seeing them all come together. Kim, I see why you love this world, so much. I love it too, through your writings.
Love hurts. Who knew how badly. Secrets are deadly. Damon and Ruby want the opposite of the other. Sid and Aspen have lost their son, there babies and their council. Grace and Jude have deadly secrets. Liam and Isa have deadly truths.
Every time you think the story is going to end, another twist, another turn and you are hooked!! It is hard to put this book series down. From the first book, it was grabs you to sneak another chapter whenever you can, read late into the night…zzzzzzz
I can't wait for the next in this series. I loved the original Dragon Kings series and I was so happy to see it continued. I want more of these characters and this world!!!
