We live in a needy-feedy world! Yet, we're so conditioned to accept the neediness in ourselves and others, we don't notice it. But it's there. It's always there. So are the vampires. So is the craving in each of us. Now it's time to reclaim ourselves. It's time to wake up every morning with a smile. It's time for life to be fun again! "Vampires Suck But You Don't Have To" will show you how!
My passionate world of writing is about letting go of mental structures and simply having fun. By giving myself that freedom, wonderful things happen. The story unfolds in new and exciting ways.
Maybe that’s why I love writing. It allows my emotions and deepest feelings to surface. When I’m writing, my soul is unfettered. There’s no emotional denial, no holding back. My characters are allowed to explore their lives in ways that open up my own heart again. Hopefully my readers will enjoy their stories.
No time like the present to take a bit of personal inventory in your life, to see what just might be sucking the life out of you spiritually and mentally! Author Bazinet’s witty, vampiresque, self help tutorial explores some very serious subjects that we all face in our lives at one time or another. The question is, are you a social vampire that feeds upon the weaknesses or generosity of others, using people for your own gain, or are you a victim, letting yourself by devoured mentally and spiritually?
The choice as it turns out, is yours, but the good news is that you don’t have to suck the life out of others to live your life, and you don’t have to be drained in order to be liked. Identifying the toxic behaviors is a key step, and ridding them from your life the next. This book gives you many helpful hints as to what to look for, and how to step away from the behaviors you no longer want in your life.
I found this book to be an uplifting read in these #quarantine times when I think all of us are reassessing our own behavior, dreaming of how we want to be and act when the lockdown is lifted, and figuring out what we need to do to get there. Its witticisms and charming narrative style make this an easy read that lifts you to recognize harmful habits and behaviors that ultimately confine your spirit. An insightful read for the times, highly recommended!

Vampires Suck But You Don't Have To by S.S. Bazinet was recommended by a friend and I cannot say how much I enjoyed it! Have you been feeling awful, exhausted by life and the people around you?
Written in a witty and easy to understand way it will help you identify energy vampires, learn how to avoid them and stay true to yourself. Are you one and if so... can you ever change?
I definitely know a few and lately because many of us are afraid of the unknown and all the extreme changes going on we might need to understand a bit more about what a healthy relationship looks like and how we can be better people too. This quirky look at how to redirect was exactly what I needed today.
So grateful today for this blast of positive energy to help me get through, to do my best to get back to the basics and be joyful regardless of what's going on around me.
Thank you so much to Ms. Bazinet for writing and sharing this. 5***** solid gold stars
