Emotional Maturity: In Everyday Life

Rate this book
This book doesn't give you neat tricks that fall apart when faced with reality. It teaches you skills to recognize and deal with complex emotions in everyday situations. It helps you recognize and change chronic emotional patterns and self-sabotage. Some readers have described it as an "operating manual that should come with life" which they keep referring to, especially in times of stress and confusion. A much needed book!

I liked the diversity of topics the writer discussed. The weakest of them all was the spiritual part where she kept expressing her own opinion. Some parts in the book felt like " what !! why is this here" but again this diversity helps people examine different areas of their lives.
I did have a high expectations for this book though, but it did not quite meet them. I thought it would be deeper and better. Nevertheless, it is not a bad or in adequate.
