About the author

Lesley dreamed of being a writer, but studied law as her mother insisted she had "something to fall back on". Since joining Usborne Publishing, she has written and edited hundreds of books, from funny rhyming stories to an award-winning history book. Nowadays, she is often found recording books, too, in Usborne's very own recording studio.

Gabungan dongeng (yang berkaitan dengan) Natal dan salju, atau musim dingin pada umumnya~ (^_^)

Yang ada "aroma" Natal-nya paling-paling dua dongeng tentang Santa + Christmas Carol-nya Charles Dickens (^-^) selebihnya.....demi apa kisah Snow White dan Puss in Boots dikategorikan "Dongeng Natal" XDD ...ya ga pa-pa-lah, buat ngeramein~ (^ u ^)
Ada juga dongeng Ratu Salju-nya H.C. Andersen, dan kisah terakhirnya aku belum pernah baca sebelumnya, jadi terasa 'menyegarkan', hehehe ^ ^

Yang menyenangkan, ilustrasi tiap dongeng beda style-nya (ღ^⌣^ღ) yang paling aku suka, pewarnaan gambar dongeng terakhir itu~ (aku lupa judulnya... "Di Timur Matahari, di Barat Bulan" atau sebaliknya, mungkin) (^ ^;)>

hmm meskipun bisa kubilang hanya 6 cerita dari total 9 kisah di buku ini yang cerita2nya memang sputar dongeng klasik bertema natal, ada beberapa dongeng yg menurutku gak nyambung dengan tema Natal.. seperti Putri Salju & 7 Kurcaci , Kucing Bersepatu Boot, dan Di Timur Matahari Di Barat Bulan.
tapi terlepas dari itu 2 kisah di luar tema Natal itu aku baru tau kisahnya dari buku ini, and I love it~
illustrasinya juga cute bangetttt
