When she starts to investigate, she discovers more might be disappearing at the weight loss clinic than pounds. The owner has been missing for a few months. Before she can figure out what’s going on, her counselor dies. Then Stone gets involved, and his brother Duke, and three gun-totin’ grannies, and even her deceased ex-husband. Before Jack B knows what hit her, she’s up to her favorite hoop earrings in men and murder. Again.
Delightful is book three in the Big Sky Pie series by Adrianne Lee. This book should come with a warning: This book will make you crave pie! If you love pie, you need to go ahead and have some on hand before you start reading this book because you will most definitely want it. And if you like to bake, it comes complete with the recipe of Molly McCoy’s Granny Smith Caramel Apple Pie!
When Molly McCoy and her office manager first opened the Big Sky Pie Shop, business was booming. But now, a few months in, things have slowed down. So Molly decides to have the pilot for a reality television show filmed in her shop.
Andrea loves her job managing things at the pie shop. She is willing to do whatever is necessary to insure that the shop does well, including agreeing with Molly to let the reality show be filmed here. Andrea is a single mother with two little boys to support.
The day the film crew showed up, in walks Ian Erikksen, or Ice, in his bad boy aviator sun glasses and sexy jeans. He is the poster boy for the typical bad boy. Andrea always seems to be attracted to the ‘bad boys.’ And true to her nature, as soon as Ice walked in, she started to sizzle.
“You don’t need to keep dumping pie on me,” he said in a husky voice that only she could hear. “If you want to get me out of my pants, sweetheart, all you need to do is ask.”
Andrea has two little boys to think of. She has to force herself to stop feeling this way towards the wrong type of guys. It’s time to turn over a new leaf and start looking for a man that could be a good father to her boys.
“Was she destined to only ever fall for Mr. “Hot, Sexy, but No Commitment” guys?” The Possibility brought on an aching sadness.”
Amidst the filming, spilled pie, broken freezers, health inspectors, celebrity reporters, and general mayhem, Andrea and Ice give in to the attraction that neither of them can fight. Ice feels something more for Andrea than he wants to admit. He reveals secrets to her he hasn’t admitted to anyone ever before. Still, he is not marriage and father material. His life is in Hollywood, not Montana.
“What is it about you,” he asked. “Why can’t I stop wanting you?”
This is a super sweet, both literally and figuratively, book. I really fell for both Ice and Andrea and wanted them to find their Happily Ever After. I love this series. Something about this pie shop. I can smell the pies, imagine all the goodies in the cases. What a wonderful calorie laden place to work it would be. I highly recommend this series and can’t wait to continue with book four, Decadent. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and have a piece of pie.
Yes, I put it out there in the title... I do love pie... and this 3rd entry to the Big Sky Pie Series lived up to the tasty first two.
We have our main character Andrea, mother of two young boys. She is doing it all on her own with loving help from her mom. Adrienne doesn't have a weakness for pie... no, she has a weakness for bad boys... hell, she married one and the boys are the only good things that came of it. She has been focused on them... but lately, everyone around her has been bitten by the true love bug... engagements, babies coming... everywhere she turns there is love abound...Molly, the owner of the pie shop where Adrienne manages the business end, is hell bent of her finding a man.
Molly is also wanting the shop to be a success. She has decided to have the shop be in a reality show; the worst that could happen more business from the town trying to be on camera purchasing pies. What comes with the show is the ultimate bad boy personified, Ice. This is man who's aviator sunglasses hide the piercing stare Andrea feels when he swaggers in. Her bad boy antenna pulsates; he is her Kryptonite.
They exchange looks and she serves him pie...well, she sort of does...as it slips out of her hand and into his lap...This event is caught on camera and when Ice looks at the footage in his hotel room, he has to repeat in his head his rule of not getting involved with the talent. This is easier said than done; both of them feel the sparks and both cannot seem to stop thinking about each other... where this goes and how it all comes to play is the delicious part of the story.
The strength of this book is the heart and sizzle. All of the characters are understandable and if you have read the other books in the series then there is an add layer of ease.
We are given insight to reality TV to a degree... everything is not what it seems and enough intrigue to keep us interested in the sub plot. I enjoyed my time with the read and will look for more with Ms. Lee.

Andrea is a single mom with two boys. She has been burned by her taste in men and refuses to follow her hormones but her brain this time. Too bad Ice is the bad boy that tingles her body to her happy place. He is the train wreck she needs to avoid. Hollywood royalty with a closet full of issues, is repealed by relationship and marriage, just NO. He is in town to film a reality show feature the pie shop where Andrea works. Andrea is hoping to increase sales through the publicity and help her boss keep money flowing in. She knows he is not the one, he knows he is not the one, but that doesn't stop the tingles. Apple pies, cotton fruit, broken freezers, great sex, hospital visits, health department closures, nice guys and more. This was not my favorite of the series so far but it was fun. These books are quick fun and heartwarming with HEA endings. I loved the apple recipe in the back of the book, you have to try it. Wade the contractor is up next and I look forward to his story. Bravo Ms. Lee
Wash your hands and sit down, ladies, for the sweetest book you've ever read! One taste from it can make you swoon - reading all of it is bound to make you fall in love!
Andrea Lovette, manager of Big Sky Pie, sure knows how to pick men. Mother of two sons, the business-like blondette always goes for the bad boys, the ones who are not interested in anything more than a roll in the hay. But no more. Andrea is now out for a husband, someone who can be a good father for her boys. And Ice Erickksen is not such a man... Ice, the TV producer responsible for the Big Sky Pie reality show, would be eager to agree. His own parents showed him that there's no such thing as a successful marriage, and he's not willing to personally experience it anytime soon. Casual flings is all he can offer, and he knows that Andrea is not the kind of woman to accept these terms. Both of them know they're wrong for each other. So then why can't they get their bodies - and hearts - to get the hint?
Though Delightful was the third book to a series - and I haven't read the other two, yet - it wasn't hard to grasp what was going on or love the many characters and background. Admittedly, Kalispell is a really homey place, and the main cast - with Molly McCoy being the shining star! - is a definite keeper. Not to mention there's pie - and lots of it! Who doesn't love pie? Mix it with scorching hot and sweet romance, and you have the best recipe for success!
(oh, it really was, darlin', trust me! served on Ice's pants made it worth double extra!)
Now, what confused me a lot with this book was the fact that, while I found Ice to be a wonderful example of the male species - physically speaking -, I found Andrea even better. I usually have this thing where I cheer for one main character - or both, though it's rare - and the one who wins me over is almost always the guy. I know, I know, there's no excuse. I can't resist. (or it could be the fact that I'm thinking the same way guys do 90% of the time, so I sort of get what they have to live through when the heroines start bitching) But in this case, I was an Andrea fan. Right from the very start. She's used in making the wrong choice when it comes to picking lovers - though I think that there was too much emphasis on that trait of hers, to the point of getting tiring after some part of the story - , yet she tries to learn from her mistakes. Not that it's easy, or that she's succeeding. Apparently, the woman has enough self-knowlege to admit that only bad boys can do the trick "lose your clothes in the blink of an eye" and not fail. She knows that, which is good, and she at least gives it her best shot in trying to find a father for her boys. Here's a mother who doesn't care if she will never get sexually satisfied again, as long as her sons are happy and loved. That's an act of true self-sacrifice, people, if I ever saw one. Her instant attraction to Ice sort of bothered me, because it didn't feel real, but hey, this is a romance novel, we can't have them dancing around each other, otehrwise there would be no story, right? I also enjoyed seeing a fictional woman REALLY put her foot down and be strong against her own desires for the sake of her kids. To deny the man that makes her tingle inside - the man she may have fallen in love with - because of her parental duty, because she knows he's not right - as he is at first - for Lucas and Logan. And holy crap, yes, FINALLY a woman who doesn't try to make excuses for the way her lover's parents treated him! Every main heroine always had to be this good Samaritan, pure and kind, who would tell the main hero that he needs to forgive the parent(s) who made his childhood a living hell, to be the better person. Nope, not Andrea! She all but snaps when Ice tells her about his younger years, and she's positively feral at what his parents did to him. *sighs* I think I'm gonna faint for the much-needed realistic dose given through Andrea here!!!
Now, Ice, on the other hand (and btw, what's with the name? why change such a wonderful name into something like THAT?!)... I didn't like him. Not one bit. It's rare, because, physically, he sounded exactly like my type. But on the inside... The guy came off as a jerk from line one. It didn't help that he thought of Andrea as a mere piece of ass. I understand and completely accept that a player might not be thinking of church bells when he sees a woman, but even so he doesn't go around being such a pig - at least not in the romance genre. While it was realistic, it ruined his image long before he managed to make it look good for us. It wasn't so much because of his thoughts - OK, not all of it, at least. It was the fact he was ruthless in the way he treated the whole world, too. When you see a womanizer in a book, you will either hate him or love him - hate him if he's one of the "bad guys" and love him if he's one of the "good guys" who just likes jumping from bed to bed. Because then you know that, at least on some level, he has morals. But Ice showed a completely douche-like side from the beginning! It made it hard to sympathize with him, and, despite the hot lovemaking he and Andrea got into, had me shamelessly happy every time she would do or say something that would hurt him. Every time she told him she was looking for a husband and then immediately reassured that he wasn't in her list of choices, I got a sick thrill of satisfaction watching him get offended or squirm. Served him right. I get where he's coming from, but his past still didn't make me like him one bit. I guess my judgemental bitchy side came out to play again... Still, I admit that I felt sorry for him as a boy. And cursed that damn school counselor to hell and back - what a fool, honestly!
However, no matter my instant dislike for Ice, I couldn't help but be dragged into the story. Going with its flow, worrying about those blueberries, and all sorts of things that the characters did, it was hard to put it down - proven by the fact that I managed to finish reading it in a couple of hours! Sweet as Molly's caramel apple pie and as hot as said pie fresh from the oven, Delightful is sure to make you crave some pie and sexy lovemaking! The way it ends has you wishing for seconds, because who doesn't love it when the main couple gets to repeat their catastrophe of a first meeting with better results?
So, bring your appetite with you and come have a taste! You won't be disappointed!

Since I am mostly looking for light books to read because finals week is arriving, I found Delightful and had made a split second decision to read it. As I had said, I wanted some light books to read, but of course I wanted a bit swoons or enjoyment nonetheless. Fortunately, Delightful had wonderfully reciprocated and just had the right amount of swoon and angst to fulfill my needs before the hell week comes.
Delightful is very sweet, and I mean that in both figurative and literal sense. There was something about this story that fulfills your cravings, whether it be towards pies or any swoon-worthy romance. This book, if I were to describe it, reminded me so much of the sigh of relief after a storm, or perhaps any hardship that had caused tremor to your life. It is good for comfort, hence the emphasis of one of the elements behind this story, which was pies. Pies are comfort food. I think the author did a wonderful job converting that to a storyline .. if that makes sense at all. (I really want pie right now.)
Anyway, the characters were okay. I wish they were characterized better; there were so many things I wanted to know more, and it is very disappointing that it wasn't given. Perhaps the only character that was written better than anyone else was Ice. His past had given him more edge, more hero-worthy, unlike Andrea, whom I wish had been developed better. There were so many other characters that had caught my interest too, including her sons, and it would have been great to know more. This might be a light read, but that doesn't mean I won't be expecting any depths or complexity. Unfortunately, Delightful didn't really succeed in doing that.
Despite all of that, Delightful was a fun and light read! If you are also struggling for finals like me and wanting to wind up a bit since obviously books are life, this is one of the books that will fulfill all of that.
Flagging sales at the pie shop have owner Molly inviting a reality show to film there. Andrea Lovette, the assistant manager isn't sure this is the best idea and when she literally falls in the lap of producer Ice Erikksen, her worries are confirmed. Ice is the embodiment of all of the bad boy charisma of Andrea's late and unlamented husband. As time goes by and she gets to know Ice, Andrea is both attracted and worried by Ice and the TV show idea.
This is the third book in the series and the relationship between the two main characters seems to be the most difficult. Andrea is trying to find someone she can count on to be a stable influence for her sons and a loyal husband for her. Ice certainly doesn't fit that bill no matter how hot he is or good in bed. Ice has secrets about his past that shape who is is now and that he needs to address before he can ever love anyone.
I love a story about a bad boy who reforms and this was certainly an enjoyable one. I have really liked all of the books so far and I am looking forward the next book, Decadent, due in June 2014.
I unfortunately couldn’t suspend my disbelief to the way that this book panned out. And I usually can for what is supposed to be a cheesy romance, but this was too much for me especially for what happens after the accident in the shop. I think I’ve unfortunately liked each of these books less than the previous and in this case I felt like I had no reason to root for the main characters to get together.
A fun, sexy, and tasty read that will delight you!
When I think comfort food for my sweet tooth, my inner touchstone turns to pie … the physicality of rolling the dough, the aroma of the pie baking that fills the house, and the first taste of a warm slice along with a little ice cream. Melt in your mouth delicious and true down home comfort.
Just as actual pie is my comfort food, Adrianne Lee’s Big Sky Pie series set in Kalispell, Montana, offers down home wisdom, bad boy (and girl) antics, humor, and some HOT love scenes. If you haven’t yet read these books, because initially they were only available electronically, you’re in luck. The first three of Lee’s Big Sky Pie books are now available in paperback! I’ve already taken a look at the first two books (Delectable and Delicious) and am giving books three and four a look here, because I want to experience that comfort read for the soul that Lee delivers so well.
If you’re familiar with the series, like me, you probably wish that there was a Big Sky Pie bakeshop on your Main Street too. But we can all read ourselves virtually to Kalispell and find out what’s been happening with friends and family of Big Sky Pie.
In book three, Delightful, pie shop manager Andrea, who has been the feisty spark to guarantee the success of Big Sky Pie, takes the central role. Now a divorcee/widow, she has less than fond memories of her ex-husband, a rodeo cowboy who tended to lasso a few too many fillies while still married to her.
Now a single mom who’s busy raising two boys under ten, Andrea’s come to realize that perhaps instead of lusting after every bad boy she encounters, she should be looking for a Mr. Right. Someone to be a father for her kids. Even if he doesn’t light her fire, she’s tired of letting her girl parts make all her decisions. It’s time to put her boys and their welfare first.
That’s what Andrea thinks until Ice walks in. Yes, reality television producer/director Ice Erickksen is the ultimate one-night-of-sin bad boy who puts her motor into drive, but she’s gotten tired of that trip.
Ice is tired of all the Hollywood shenanigans he’s been dealing with since he was a kid - and something about Andrea, Big Sky Pie, and Kalispell just seems a bit different to this jaded Hollywood insider.
The first part of the book focused on Ice’s team filming secretly in Big Sky Pie - or rather trying to be secretive about the project - was just hilarious. Several passages had me chuckling to myself then laughing out loud. For those of you who flip pages till you get to the sex, oops I mean, love scenes, don't worry. They're there too. The initial scenes between Ice and Andrea are hot. Really HOT. The two of them together are just combustible and the detail of her boots, priceless. (You have to read it, sorry. No spoilers here!)
But it was this description that made my mouth water. Yes, seduction by a slice of pie:
“Andrea spied Molly’s caramel apple pie, cut herself a slice, heated it in the microwave, and lifted a forkful to her mouth. The crust flaked against her tongue, and the sweet apple and spices dissolved like honey, the taste sensation as delightful a pleasure as great sex. As she continued eating, every bite had her mind tumbling, trying to make sense of her life. . .” (p. 69)
Now, don’t you want to run to your kitchen and find that pie on the counter, cut yourself a slice, and heat it up to have that same pleasure experience! (I keep flashing in my mind to the classic Meg Ryan scene in Sleepless in Seattle when I read it.) And for any of you who bake, Lee includes a recipe for this exact pie at the end of the book. FABulous!
That all said it is really the emotional quotient that keeps me reading these Big Sky Pie books. Lee knows how to just hunker in and pull at the reader’s heartstrings. Delightful is a fun, sexy, and tasty read that will delight you.
Delightful is another fabulous romance in Adrianne Lee's heartwarming Big Sky Pie series. In this latest installment, manager Andrea Lovette is paired up with Hollywood bad boy Ice Erickksen and the single mom finds it virtually impossible to resist the deliciously sexy charmer.
Andrea's bad boy radar is pinging off the charts when Ice struts into Big Sky Pie but she has sworn off bad boys after her disastrous marriage to bull rider Donnie Lovette. About the only good thing that came out of her marriage are her two young sons and she is looking for a man who could be a good influence on her boys. Ice has trouble written all over him but their blistering hot attraction is impossible to ignore. Andrea knows that giving in to their desire is a mistake, but once they do, she is determined to keep her distance from Ice.
First impressions of Ice? Arrogant, womanizing, disrespectful jerk. Harsh, I know, but I absolutely hated how he thought about Andrea at first, and I thought she deserved soooo much better than Ice. But after their scrumptiously delicious one night stand? Ice begins to thaw into a wonderfully warm and caring man with an amazing array of strong emotions. But (isn't there always a "but"?) he has some serious issues from his childhood to work through before he can even think about a future with Andrea.
The reality show is mainly used to bring Ice and Andrea together, but it also beautifully showcases the supporting cast of characters. Pie shop owner Molly McCoy really shines in this outing and she is just such a lovely person I am glad we got to see more of her. I was absolutely delighted that Wade Reynolds had a more prominent role in the story and I am still holding out hope he might find love in future novel (Callee's friend Roxy springs to mind as his future love interest). We also get the opportunity catch up with the couples from the first two novels in the series and it is great to see they are still deliriously happy.
A charming addition to the Big Sky Pie series, Delightful is a fun and sexy romance. Adrianne Lee keeps the series fresh with unique storylines and unpredictable pairings. The characters are well-developed and appealing with realistic flaws and imperfections. My fingers are crossed that we will get another chance to visit the Big Sky Pie shop in the future.
I think this is my favorite Big Sky Pie novel in the series!
Andrea manages the office at the Big Sky Pie bakery and cafe in Montana. When owner Molly decides to have a production company film a realty show pilot at Big Sky Pie, Andrea spends a lot of time with producer Ice Erikkson. Between trying to act normal with all the cameras around, and attempting to temper her lust for Ice, Andrea doesn't know if she's coming or going. Ice is impressed that someone so sexy can handle daily emergencies with such grace and aplomb.... But he doesn't feel worthy of a relationship, only a fling.
The emotions in Delightful were more realistic than in many romance novels. Andrea really did try being reasonable instead of letting her heart lead the way. Ice, too, did the grown-up thing and got his life in order before trying to share it with Andrea.
The reality show filming portions were funny but believable, the characters were developed appropriately for the size of their role in the novel, and Andrea's children lent a lovely family vibe to the story. I enjoyed seeing all the facets of a local bakery and how the business runs.
Delightful is a light, cozy romance set in a small town. I expected to enjoy it like I do so many other romances, finish it, sigh happily, and then go to sleep. I didn't expect to cry or get butterflies in my stomach ... or get that full, tense, heart-pounding feeling in my gut that you get when you're falling in love.
Yeah I felt that. Adrianne Lee did such a good job writing the falling-in-love part that I felt it too. And while the rest of the book is excellent, it is worth reading for the falling-in-love feeling alone.
I received this book for free from a Goodreads First Reads giveaway. This book is the 3rd in the series of Big Sky Pie series by Adrianne Lee. I had not read either of the previous books in the series and found that it wasn't necessary as this book is perfectly fine as a standalone read. This book was a delightfully, addicting, enjoyable read which I couldn't put down until I finished it. I loved the story of Andrea and Ice and the only thing I can complain about was it left me wanting more! I didn't want the story to end! I highly recommend for any fans of romance novels and reading this one makes me definately want to read the rest of the Big Sky Pie novels by Adrianne Lee!
5 Hot and Juicy as apple pie stars! If you love contemporary romance, then try out Ice Erickksen! Adrianna Lee has outdone herself! Seriously, this book kept my attention, and I read it in one sitting! Absolutely an amazing read. Montana, hot men, pie shop…what’s not to love! ~Author Amelia Hutchins, owner of Erotica Book Club~
You've done it again Adrianne Lee!! I will admit to not being as excited about this book as I was the first two, but once I started it I couldn't put it down. I loved Andrea, and Ice and all the romantic drama that they went through to find each other.
A highly recommended novel in a highly recommended series.
This book was the best of the Big Pie Sky series written by Adrianne Lee. Well written, and balanced. I liked the way she brought realistic thoughts, feelings and action to her characters. I found myself smiling as I read this book. It was great. I hope Mrs Lee finds her way back to Big Sky Pie and write more in the series. Each booked is tied to the others perfectly.
This is a charming story featuring a woman who runs a small town pie shop and the owner of a big city production company, their attraction is undeniable.
Andrea Lovette is the assistant manager of Big Sky Pie in Kalispell, Montana. She is a single mother of two wonderful sons, she was married at a young age and now knows the type of man to look for, one she can count on and one day marry, unfortunately she loves those bad boys. Her boss Molly is the owner of the pie shop and has been anxious about falling revenue, she recently contracted with a production company for a reality show pilot, bringing nothing but trouble to town.
Ice Erikksen is a partner in Ice Berg Productions, he is from a famous family and does all he can to hide from the tabloids and distance himself from his family. He changed his name when he was very young and spent most of his years at boarding school and although he has not spoken with either parent for many years, they have both reached out to him, he just has some personal hurtles to get through.
When Ice and Andrea meet for the first time, sparks fly and the attraction is mutual but what can come from a commitment shy bad boy and a woman looking for forever?
Delightful is a cute story with humorous settings and engaging characters and although this is the third in the series, it can easily be read as a standalone.
Andrea is a likable person but can't seem to stay away from a bad boy no matter how much trouble they cause her. She knows what type of person Ice is immediately, unfortunately for her he needs to be around the shop as much as possible and they waste no time before they are intimate, but she knows better and backs off.
Ice is also a very likable hero, he has some issues from his past he has never dealt with which prevent him from thinking about a future with anyone and although he is attracted to Andrea he realizes what she is looking for, and it is not him. His family really did a number on him, but I like how their relationship ends up.
Hijinx ensues during the filming of the pilot, just when you think things settle down, something else comes up and the production company thrives on the drama, knowing what sells in reality TV. But this is small town America, intriguing people are plentiful and residents know all the secrets.
The pace of the story works well, we are introduced to the production company early on and there are several side stories help the story flow. Secondary characters play important roles as with most small town settings, Molly is very likable but is somewhat naive about the trouble involved with a reality show and soon wants out. I like Wade the contractor who is not ready for a relationship yet and Andrea understands where he was coming from, his story will be touching. Several pie shop customers and workers add to the day to day confusion with humorous moments and Andrea's two sons are adorable and add cuteness to the story. The story is sweet and fun and I will definitely be picking up the next one.
Delightful, Big Sky Pie 3, Adrianne Lee Review from Jeannie Zelos Book reviews. I love contemporary romance with the Bad Boys in them...but ICE didn't really turn out to be that, more of just a famous boy. :( Yes, he's master of the one night stand and anti romance and love, hearts and flowers but that doesn't make him a bad boy in my eyes, just a cautious one. So, we've the Reality show being filmed in a pie shop...seems a bit odd to me, but then so does the concept of “reality TV” – it's actually nothing like reality – would be my worst nightmare to go on one of those! I can see why Andrea has reservations – I would too. I liked Andrea, fun and quirky, and a loving mum and good friend. She's the back bone of small towns, the core that make everything flow but not what TV shows need – they want the rows, the bitching, the backstabbing – but they didn't get it from Andrea. What Ice and co did get though, was far too many moments where Andrea slipped, tripped, fell, and dumped pie everywhere. She wasn't always that clumsy surely so why now? To be honest first one was believable, surprise does stuff like that to anyone, but the rest took the romance into farce land for me. It detracted, wasn't funny just irritating. I couldn't get into the whole Ice as famous yet in hiding, internet stalking etc and the show based on a pie shop at all. I kept wondering how it ever kept going, its a small shop/café and yet the staff numbers were large for a shop that seemed hardly ever open – not counting the days closed through disasters. The sex scenes between Ice and Andrea were pretty hot, but not enough to pull the story up from an OK for me. Too much shop and slapstick and not enough Ice/Andrea romance for me. Maybe I’m just overly critical, or had too much expectation. I hadn't read earlier books either, so that could factor although I doubt it. Never the less I'm one person and one view – you make your own decision :) Priced at £1.49 for 188 pages, it was a bit short for me, didn't really give the romance time to develop but then I love long books, whereas others love novels they can read quickly or put down and pick up later. Stars: 3. Not bad just not great either. ARC supplied via Netgalley
Delightful by Adrianne Lee is the mouthwatering third book in the Big Sky Pie Series, and it is just as tasty as the rest of the books in this series.
Andrea Lovette is the manager of the Big Sky Pie shop and is the single mother of two little boys. With everything going on in her life she has no room for dating, besides every guy she goes out with tends to be a "bad boy". What she really needs is to stop chasing guys that are just like her ex and start looking for a stable, down to earth type of guy who will love her boys as if they were his. The day that Ice Erikkson walks into the Pie Shop her bad boy meter goes into full tilt and she know she is in for a heap of trouble. But he is just to tempting for only one taste.
Ice Erikkson is the producer that is going to make the Big Sky Pie Reality Show something big, and if he can get a little sugar on the side with the hot, sexy Andrea Lovette even better. Ice is know for his cool exterior, never letting anyone get to close, never letting anyone in. But for the first time in forever, he wants to be able to be the man that Andrea needs in her life, he wants to be the man and roll model that her boys can look up to, he wants to find a forever with Andrea.
When secrets are revealed, disaster strikes the pie shop, and reports threaten to exposed Ice's past, these two need to learn that sometimes forgivness and healing starts with letting go of the past and looking toward the future.
I totally loved Ice and Andrea. Yes, Ice comes off like a playboy, but his interaction with Andrea's sons is so sweet, and he the feelings that he tries so hard to deny are just there under the surface, at times I actually felt bad for him. I loved Andrea. She overcame so much and she is only interested in what is best for her boys. In the end the HEA was just as sweet as this months warm Carmel Apple Pie. I would suggest this book and this series to anyone looking for a sweet summer read. I loved it so much I gave it 5 Sweet Stars.

Andrea Lovette has a type--bad boys--and she's been burned before because of it. She loved Donnie Lovette and married him, but he couldn't seem to want only her. She has a harried life filled with taking care of her two boys. She wants to be able to settle down and have someone to lean on, but she knows that most of the guys that are her type won't be what she wants in the long run. Plus, she has other things to worry about--some Hollywood producers are shooting a pilot for a reality show to be set in the pie shop that Andrea works at....and one of them is exactly her type. Even though she knows its wrong, it still feels right...
Ice Erickksen is an L.A. producer that has secrets to hide--most of which he hides behind a bad-boy veneer. Once he makes it to Montana, where everyone is genuinely nice and with the beautiful view--and with the help of a sexy single mom of two boys--his walls begin to crack. When his secret is leaked to the press, it begins to interfere with the show. Can the show go on? Can he continue on with his old life after this? Or has Montana (and Andrea) broken down his walls?
This book was my favorite in the series so far--I really enjoyed getting to know Ice's back story and why the way he was. It was a very steamy, heartfelt book. Highly recommended, and I hope these come out in mass market paperback so we can buy them at the library I work at!
Delightful is the third book in the Big Sky Pie series which can be read as a standalone but reading the first two books will probably add more to the story. This time around its Andrea Lovett's turn in finding romance . Never mind that her taste runs among the bad boy crowd, she wants something that would be more lasting, a father figure for her young sons. Enter Ice Erickssen, the director for the reality TV show her boss Molly has decided would be great advertising for the pie shop. He is definitely hot and definitely not want she was looking for but once they had a good look at each other, the clothes started flying and everything was confusing. Ice was definitely not looking for more than a one night stand but what is it about Andrea that just makes him come back for more. So this was a cute and fun read, it was great reading about the other characters in the previous books and Andrea finally gets her own story told, she's one of my favorite secondary characters. As usual the pies were mouth watering and you could almost taste them right off the pages. Like many typical rom coms, there was a lot of chasing and denial of attractions between the main leads. The story was engaging and entertaining. Fans of the series will be happy with this one. Looking forward to the next book.

I have read the two previous books in this series, Delectable and Delicious, and enjoyed them so I jumped at the chance to read and review book three in the series.
We were reunited with characters we’ve met before and introduced to new ones but BiBi and her daddy still rubbed me the wrong way. At first the reality show plot put me off but Lee was able to reel me in by making people real even knowing cameras were rolling. Ice and Bobby, the producers of the show, had their show biz side and their personal side that was more palatable. There was so much going on between the show, the bakery, personal lives and town dynamics to name a few that there was never a dull moment. Ice and Andrea had immediate chemistry that sizzled on the page and while they had fun while casually hooking up Ice wasn’t looking for anything permanent and Andrea didn’t think he would be good step-daddy material to her two boys.
There was lots of loving but no real romance throughout. There was an unexpected happily ever after and nice closure but an epilogue would have been the whipped cream on the pie.
I look forward to reading book four in the series, Decadent, as well as other books written by Lee.
This is the 3rd book in the Big Sky Pie series. I enjoyed reading about widowed, single mom Andrea Lovette. Andrea is Molly's business manager at the pie shop and spends her time between work and her boys. In this installment, a reality TV show is being filmed in the pie shop. This book is full of laugh out loud moments and funny shenanigans. There is also a hot love story between Andrea and reality tv director, Ian "Ice" Erikksen. Andrea isn't looking for love, but for someone who would make a good step-father to her 2 sons. Before she knows it, her "bad boy" stereotype of Ice gets changed and she falls for him.
I think this was my favorite of the series.
NOTE: I received a copy of this book in=exchange for my honest opinion/review.
A tasteful story of Guys and Caramel Apple Pies with a sprinkle of cinnamon and ice cream! What's a better combination? Oh did I mention THE guy, Ice is a cowboy with a smile that will make you warm and tingly all over?
Andrea is a divorced mother of two, manages the pie shop that is the focus of a new reality show in town and has a plan to find a responsible step-daddy for her sons. I say what's the fun in that?!
Drama unfolds, secrets are revealed, LOVE is the worst word in the dictionary, Ice is like eating the forbidden fruit- a real bad boy!
Andrea has been there done that. She wants to Play it safe.......But the heart wants what it wants.
I am looking forward to reading more Big Sky Pie novels and indulging in the magic of the PIE.
Delightful is a lovely quickly read romance by author Adrianne Lee. This is the first book of Lee's that I have read. Delightful is the third book in the series but you don't have to read the first two to enjoy this one...I didn't.
I really enjoyed the story about a young single Mom and the dashing but dangerous man who walked into her life in the bakery she works in. If you like a good romance then Delightful is a good one!
I love the Big Sky Pie series. This is book 3 and I loved both the previous books. We now have Andrea's story and since she loves "bad boys", Ms Lee has provided a great one. Ice is in town to film the pilot for the reality film for the pie shop. Miss Molly has decided this is the way to keep the shop going and it certainly has generated interest in the small Montana town.
This book was really good! It made me laugh a lot and I loved the passion between Ice and Andrea. I also loved the way the book ended. It also made me want some pie! :) I am happy that I won an advanced copy through Goodreads First Reads giveaway!
