About the author

Unlike most other authors, I started writing late in life. Writing stories in high school and college was not for me. Only after I graduated did I fall in love with romance novels. For the next twenty years, I read voraciously. It got to a point where my book buying habits cost as much as my groceries. At that point, my husband suggested I write a book. Hey, it looked easy, right? All the stories started in the same spot (hero and heroine at odds) and ended the same way (happily ever after). Only it was anything but easy. Eleven years and fifteen completed romantic suspenses later, I finally published. I never would have gotten that far had it not been for two local chapters whose generous members shared their amazing wealth of knowledge.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read and the pages just flew by. I loved the dynamic of hard and soft with the hero's, and the playfulness the three main characters had for each other. The unexpected twist was great and made the story exciting. Blake and Daniel met with a spunky Candy who is in the process of opening a Spa in town. The she luck turns south, and both men come to her aid when she feels she is out of options. Throughout the process Candy is determined to make it work. I really look forward to the next Callen's book that Melody writes!

Great book in a really phenomenal series. The Callens is a family name of some very family oriented but sexy cowboys. This book revisits some old friends and you get to meet some new characters.

Candy is the heroine and she comes to the town of Intrigue with a little bit of emotional baggage and a whole lot of heartache. She needs a good man or two after being married to her ex-husband and deserves to see a happily ever after.

I loved the people in this book. They felt real, had great motivation, and were just fun to read about. The sex was also really good.

Definitely recommended to anyone who loves a good romance book.

I loved this book! I loved Candy's character cause she didn't give up her dream no matter how many bumps in the road. A wonderful addition to the Callens series and so looking forward to more.
