Rate this book
By choice or by force, everyone eventually walks out of Rae Stevens' life. Usually, she beats them to the punch. Now she is determined to save the father she barely knows, even if it means calling on the one man she can't forget.

Wealthy, powerful, and sinfully gorgeous Daegen Tan has it all. Except the one thing he truly wants: Rae, the woman who ended their passionate affair three years ago. He is determined to have her back in his bed. This time, he'll take pleasure in seducing her--and then he'll be the one to leave. Except his heart has other ideas.

Can Rae stay long enough to give him a chance? And will Daegen be able to convince her that he isn't going anywhere?

Daegen is a hot, powerfully rich dream who doesn’t do serious relationships. Rae is a strong, selfless woman who doesn’t feel worthy enough to be loved. When things started getting serious Rae walked away from Daegen before he could walk away from her. A few years later when Rae is caring for her sick father she is forced to go to Daegen for help. Can these two broken people let go of the past and let love win? Or will new revelations tear them apart?

This was a great, quick, steamy read with very relatable characters. It has everything from intense, heartbreaking moments to magnetic, undeniable chemistry. This is the first book I have read by Mrs. Han and I highly recommend it. She is, in my opinion, an author to watch.

Well, I'm glad it was free. Details...it's all in the details...or lack thereof, in this case. We don't really know anything about these characters. No real details a out their prior relationship. No real details about there jobs. What exactly is his company? What in the world does Rae do for a living? Why did they break up n the past? Heck, she was even vague on Daegan's ethnicity. And does he have brown eyes that are almost black, or are they coppery? And, oh yes, the " rare blood disease"! A little more homework could have made this story better. I wanted to quit about a third of the way through, but I stuck with it. I wasted two days on this book!

Barb Han is an author to watch and will soon be on many auto-buy lists I'm sure. From edgy suspense to flirty, sexy novels, she's got a way with a story, writing with vivid words to make you feel right there among the characters. If you love fun, sexy, smart reads, you're going to love The Billionaire Bargain and the chemistry that brews between hot, hunky, rich, and yet good guy Daegan Tan and his equal in spirit and beauty (if not money) Rae Stevens. Many poignant moments with their family too. Very enjoyable.

I love this author's way of turning a phrase. In Billionaire's Bargain, she pits two strong personalities against each other, both refusing to give in the emotional pull. But Rae when has to swallow her pride and ask Daegen for help, the fireworks start. I don't do spoilers, but you'll enjoy their struggle to not give in to love. The island setting and descriptions are perfect. I felt like I was there.

This was a good book. The story of Daegen and Rae and Rae's dying father. Their romance rekindles when Rae has to seek help from Daegen for her dying fathers treatment to keep him alive. It's a good romance story. It's a good read

This was quick romance but one where you could relate to the characters. Rae is on the verge of losing her job as well as her father. Rae needs help to save her father’s life and the only man that can do that is Daegen, the lover she left behind three years ago. He agreed to meet with her but only at his villa, which holds memories for both of them. She had to convince him to give her father the medicine that was in trial with one of his companies. She thought that she could ask the favor and be gone without having her heart broken.

Daegan had never gotten over losing Rae, he wants her back in his bed but will that be enough? He acted very tough but you can tell that he was guarding his heart from any further pain.

Rae never thought she was worthy of love. Her dad left her with CPS when she was six so she thinks that eventually everyone will leave her. However, she was very strong and self-reliant. It was hard to ask for help.

I liked that the author took the time to tell us about her father. She showed us the guilt that he felt for giving her up. He doesn’t want to be a burden to Rae and wanted her to live her life.

Even though their previous relationship wasn’t part of the book, you could tell that they both loved each other but were afraid to say it. They definitely need to work on their communication. I was rooting for them to overcome the past and let love win. The chemistry between them was hot.

This was my first book by this author but feel that I will continue reading her.

Deagon Tan is the only man that can help Rae Stevens save her father. The problem is that she left Deagon three years ago and going back to him is the hardest thing she has ever done. Deagon owns a company developing a drug that could save her father and give him a chance to live.

Rae finds it hard to trust and open to anyone because everyone she has ever cared about left her and she was raised in foster care. She keeps this inside and Deagon has no idea why she keeps rejecting him. He is rich, successful and can give her everything but he does not realize she only wants one thing.

Deagon accepts an eleven-year-old orphan into his home as his son because he is the son of his teenage love. Rae and Daniel relate to one another and understand about learning to trust, dreaming of parents finding them and she helps Daniel accept Deagon and his change in environment.

The Billionaire Bargain is full of emotion, understanding of how children feel in foster care and the hot and sexy Deagon learns to communicate with the secretive Rae, as she learns to open up with her feelings to him to make it a good romantic story.

Rae Stevens is struggling to cope, her father who she found only six month previously is dying, all her money is gone and if she doesn't concentrate her job will be gone too. The only person she can turn to for help is her ex-boyfriend and billionaire Daegen Tan who apart from being a billionaire also happens to be the owner of a pharmaceutical company. The rest writes itself.

I wanted to like this book more than I did, I know that generally any book with billionaire in the title is going to be far fetched and you just go along for the ride so to speak but this was so contrived I really had trouble with it. Rae and Daegen were in a relationship, he's obviously the love of her life especially since in the three years since they split there's been no one else and even though it's clear she left him simply because she thought at some point he would leave her I hoped right up until the end that there would be some thing that would make this book more than it was. Daegen was fantastic and I loved Daniel but I didn't really connect or relate to any of them especially Rae.

This was a very cute quick read. I picked this one up thinking that it would be like other books that I have read, where the "bachelor" needs a woman to pretend to be his wife/fiance, but it was vastly different.

The main characters were ex lovers that had split ways after Rae snuck out of Daegen's Villa without a goodbye 3 years prior. Now Rae is back with a big favor to ask. She is on the verge of loosing her job and everything that she has worked for all from trying to save the life of a father that handed her over to child services when she was 6.

Daegen seems to have a hard shell, but we quickly see his compassionate side and how much he really loves Rae. With her father's health on the line and her heart and body aching to give in to Daegen, what exactly will Rae do? Let me just say that if you are looking for a happy ending you will not be disappointed!

I am torn over a 3 or 4 star rating so for now I am giving it a 3. I liked the book overall and there was a bit of emotions while reading it which I love in books. My one problem was Rae...instead of being honest with Daegan when he asked what was wrong she constantly lied. If she could be honest with him before I don't see why she lied the second time around.
Her dad bothered me too, and it did feel like he didn't love her at all. I'm way too conflicted on this one, because I did tricky like the story but something is off for me with it.

Entertaining book with not a lot of depth. Rae is gambling her last pennies to save her father's life. Daegen just wants to find out why she left him without an explanation a few years ago, Is there still love deep down? Both their lives are consumed with important issues to resolve. Love is the last thing on their minds when they first meet, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. Enjoyable story.

This was a pretty good book. I felt soorry for the way Rae grew up. To find her father after all those years just for him to be dying was very touching. I really thought the whole time the boy belonged to Daegen and that's what makes it a good story and makes him a good man. Def one you want to read.

Well written, but a little over the top as far as angst goes. Some of the issues didn't resolve as much as just went away.

A really nice, easy read. Quite a typical boy meets girl story, has some nice family scenes.I quite liked the characters. Lots of twists...an interesting read.
