This short story focuses on a female vampire that has fallen in love with a human. Doing what she thinks is best, Sian dismisses her feelings for Taz and walks away. When she discovers an illegal blood farm and Taz as one of the captured victims, Sian decides to risk her life in order to save his.
Sian's Solution is a great introduction to Dale Mayer's Family Blood Ties series. The writing is well done and story is very interesting. Please note that I have not read any other books in this particular series by D.M. but overall, the content in Sian's Solution has piqued my interest enough to add them to my TBR pile.
I really like this series and this extra little snippet of story goes over nicely. Short enough that you can read it in one sitting, but fleshed out enough that the horror of what the vampires who run the blood farm are willing to do shines through. Kinda creepy and kinda gross, yet Sian and Taz still manage to rock in the middle of all of it. *thumbs up*
Sian’s Solution by Dale Mayer Family Blood Ties Series Book 0.5 Sian is in love with a human. She is a vampire. To protect Taz she tells him she don’t love him and goes into her own territory, just to have him follow her and be captured by an underground human blood mill. Sian plans on rescuing Taz or die trying. This is a very short story. **Language http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/...
Absolutely loved it. I had read the first book in the series and I think reading this one before reading book 2was a great choice it filled in a lot of missing pieces. It fills in how Sian met and rescued her human mate. It explains a little about the farms so you have a bit of a better understanding of the storyline.
Humans and Vampires living in almost harmony...or are they? When vampire Sian tries to break it off with human doctor, Taz, she finds out he's been captured by a renegade group, illegal blood farmers. Can Sian save her lover and herself? As usual, Dale Mayer delivers another great read.
She is working in a blood farm why? Sian had no idea that Taz knew that she was a vampire and that he accepted it and loved her anyway. Let's just say that I liked this short story and would like to hear more about their future. I hope there is a sequel coming up. I love the story about Sian and Taz.
Dale Mayer is a great author. Her stories are well written and well put together. This is the third book of hers that I have read and I can't get enough. Her stories will keep you coming back for more.
After reading book 1 Vampire in Denial, I would say this is sort of a prequel. This was a quick, fast storyline that explained how Sian and Taz got together. Another snippet to draw you farther into the this series and leave you wanting more.
I liked this book but I did not feel the connection with Taz and Sian as I did with Tessa, Cody, and Jared. It did provide more background information which was helpful and insightful.
