I haven’t read anything from this author and I didn’t know what to expect but I can say that I enjoyed this romance. It is part of the Lucky Break series but can be read as standalone. This is a curvy girl steamy romance, I liked the characters and how protective Josh is of Daisy.
We meet Daisy, who is a florist and just found out her greedy landlord is increasing the rent therefore she decides to find new premises. She finally decides to buy her own and employs Lucky Break Construction to renovate her new property.
She doesn’t expect to fall for one of the crew, Josh and her business be targeted by vandals. I loved reading about the sparks between the couple as well as the ones the vandals try and cause.
This does have some steamy moments but has a great storyline. It flowed really well with amazing characters.

Lucky Color is part of the Lucky Break series. It is a steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her hunky construction worker romance. Daisy is a smart, sassy, and curvy florist. Josh is a hunky, colorblind construction worker. When Daisy's landlord doubles her lease amount, she refuses to pay the same and is evicted the next day. She sees Josh as she is taking down the sign to her shop, and they are instantly attracted to each other. When she ends up buying a run-down Victorian home as her new shop, she hires Lucky Break Construction for the renovation. Josh is part of the crew. They begin a hot and heavy relationship, but someone is vandalizing the shop. Can they catch who it is? Can Josh keep her safe? I loved this couple's connection. They were instant soulmates, and their chemistry was pure fire. There was some definite drama, but in the end, we get a wonderful HEA.

Quick read with a fast paced story...
This read holds your attention with everything that happens. At the same time you have instant chemistry and attraction. The steamy time is hot, and Daisy and Josh make the perfect couple. This was a very enjoyable read that keeps you on your toes and melts your heart at the end!!! Can't wait for the next.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I thought that Daisy and Josh's love story had a little bit of everything. It has that instant connection between them, a lot of heart, plenty of heat, some suspense and drama and a good hea. Both characters were relatable and were really perfect for each other. I liked the storyline overall also. It was a good addition to the series

I really enjoyed the characters and adventure in this story. Daisy and Josh learn to love each other quickly while other twists & turns happen. I also enjoyed meeting more characters in their lives and will definitely be reading more books in the series.

The author has given us a heartwarming story that pulls us into the lives of Daisy and Josh. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, suspense, danger and steam.
