Rita Thompson was getting married. She just hadn't bothered to invite the groom—her boss, Sheikh Sakir Al-Nayhalm—to his own wedding. Rita had concocted the whole scheme to successfully reunite her alienated family. Everything had gone according to plan...until she found Sakir standing at the altar waiting for her!

And Sakir had a proposal of his own for the blushing bride. Rita would be his wife for three weeks in his home country of Emand, then they would dissolve the union. There would be no touching, no kissing...no taking possession of her delectable body. But there were some vows a man couldn't keep!

I enjoyed this nice little romance! I liked the heroine, she was a nice, sweet and intelligent woman who fell for her boss then gets to live out her fantasy of being married to him as part of a "business deal". The hero was closed off to his emotions for most of the book the heroine helps break through his fears. Overall, a cute good story.

I know we are supposed to suspend disbelief when reading Mills and Boon but seriously? this plot premise was just so utterly ridiculous. We're supposed to believe a woman will arrange a wedding with no groom and at which she will appear to be jilted by her boss - simply to help her sister get back with a lover? No - I didn't buy it not for a minute. This was boring and pedestrian. Sorry - not my cup of tea at all.

If you expect a 'sheikh' book you won't find it here. Its more 'sheikh' light.
Light is a good way to describe the entire book. Light male, light heroine and a really light fluffy story.

*Hides in shame* Is it me or is this a really, really bad cover.

The story was definitely ok, but slightly predictable. I did like Rita for the most part though.
