About the author

I grew up on the Central Coast of California where the beaches were pristine and the sunsets were spectacular. I attended the school of hard knocks as traditional schools had too many rules and regulations for me.

I raised four children that turned out to be happy, healthy, productive members of society. Each of my children grew up to possess my independent spirit and headstrong ways but are all awesome people.

For all of my love, time and devotion, most of my children have repaid me with the ultimate gift. Grandchildren. They are my favorite past time and at present, I have four of them. I am sure that the future holds more of them for me.

I believe that a smile is the best accessory one can wear, that random acts of kindness can change the world and do them every chance I get. I also try to learn something new every day.

My hobbies include cooking huge meals for my extended family, a good game of billiards every now and then, reading a good book,listening to music as many hours a day as possible and people watching, especially men!

I live somewhere in North Carolina, write erotic novels, poems and erotic short stories and am VERY single!

In this book you meet Maggie.. Poor girl seems to have the worst luck ever with guys. I mean really 3 failed marriages countless wrong relationships and four kids to show for it. Unlike most storie, Maggie isn't the young naiive girl looking for love like in most books. I'd place her in her early to mid forties. This in itself is a bit refreshing since the author has drifted from the norm that all main characters need to need to be young, beautiful and rebellious.
The is a flaw in Maggie's reasoning concerning the beautiful liar... If he was lying to her before, what made her think everything he said to her after wasn't just more lies? The possiblility that the beautiful liar never once crossed Maggie's mind after she'd had him promise to tell her nothing but the truth.
The storyline was an interesting one.. Though for as intelligent as Maggie claimed to be she couldn't grasp the importance of the one lie the beautiful liar told her and in the end what did her being stubborn get her?
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves erotica.. As many of you know, I'm not a big fan of the genre. This book had entirely too much sex in it for my liking..but the actual storyline for how little of it there is, was a beautiful tale.

Maggie West has an unhappy past with men. They abused, molested, raped, lied and deserted her. The thing she found the
most offensive though was lying. She had decided to give up on men forever.
However; she decided to try an online dating service. It could be safe and she knew all men were liars anyway. She responded to this handsome blonde and got a response. She knew he had to be a beautiful liar because all men were liars. His response was very interesting and he asked for a webcam but he couldn't show himself because his laptop was in the shop. She knew he was lying so she broke it off and swore to never speak to him again.
Later, she felt guilty and decided that she was unfair and everyone deserves a second chance. She told him she was sorry but he had to never tell her another lie. He agreed and he wasn't a blonde but not a bad looking fellow.
Things progressed and before she knew it they were having all kinds of steamy sex all the time online.
She decided she was in love and had to meet him overseas and have some real time hands on physical steamy sex.
Maggie tells her family she is going to have a vacation and leaves to continue her torrid affair.
I will not tell you what happens but it is very different than you would expect. I suggest.. no...I totally recommend that you run don't walk to buy this book. It has some serious issues it addresses and some very hot steamy physical bits. I found myself laughing at the way the heroine laughs at herself and her own personality.
It is a definite sexy jaunt.
I gave it Five Stars out of Five. Just a word of warning to the readers. Turn the AC up and put the fan on you and get a large glass of ice tea before you settle down to read this book.

Finally, a series of books based on a funny, strong and furiously determined woman character! In A Beautiful Liar Book 1 of the Maggie West Series, we are introduced to Maggie West. Maggie is a middle aged woman who has raised her children, been to hell and back in her personal life and has done it all with grace and dignity.
When Maggie meets a “catfish” online, she decides to have a little fun with him. When the fun is over and she tells him to take a hike, she is sure it’s the last she’ll hear from him but, it isn't. It’s just the beginning of a journey that will take her to places she never thought she’d go physically, emotionally and sexually.
Ms. Harrow spins a tale full of willful deception, sexy scenes and an ending I could not believe. I found myself thinking “no way!” but applauding her at the same time. I could not get my hands on book two fast enough and November 1st is too far away to find out how the series ends! This is most definitely a series you do NOT want to miss! Erotica is not a genre that I normally read, but Harrow opens my mind to this entertaining series! She is one author to watch!!!!! Anyone looking for an AWESOME read, the Maggie West Series is sure to please! Leanna Harrow is my new favorite author!!!!!!!!!!!!

The main character in A Beautiful Liar is one that I imagine a lot of people can connect with. Being single yet trying to find someone in this day and age a lot of people go to the internet. But the reality is, some of the people are liars.

I really enjoyed how Leanna was able to put a “real life” feel on this story. Maggie’s character was very well written, the attention to details were well done as well. I do have the say the sex parts of this book, were so well done that it was just wow!

At the end of this book, I was upset with Maggie but so proud of her as well! I can’t wait to read more of her story!

This was hot and steamy with a heat rating of about 9 and let me tell you I was so disappointed because I want to know what happens next! I sweated through every single page waiting to see what would happen and was shocked in the end. WOW doesn't even come close to my feelings about this book. I literally had to scrape my jaw up off the floor when it was over. Well first I had to convince myself that my Kindle App was not malfunctioning that it really was the end of the book , then I scraped my jaw off the floor. I rated this a 5 out of 5.

this was a very cute story , poor Maggie couldn't catch a break god love her , a lot of truths to this story of how the world is today and that when it comes to matters of the heart times have changed and the Maggie's of the world plow on regardless not sure she chose the right road or if I would have chosen her path but in another way I understand why she chose it a book for all you hopeless romantics for definite 4 well deserved stars :-)

First in the "Maggie West Series" Awesome read if I do say so myself...Maggie has endured everything and makes it out on top...she's not done yet..."Maggie's Men" is the second book in the Series..."Maggie's Misery" is slated out the first of 2013...What will happen to that poor woman next???
