Monica Murphy is one of my favorite romance writers, and Savor did not disappoint. Matt and Bryn are not looking for love, but aren’t those always the ones who fall the hardest?
Matt DeLuca is an ex-pro baseball player turned winery owner. He bought up a failing winery, employees and all, closed it down to revamp it and bring it back to life. Matt’s worked hard to turn it into a success and he’s just about to open it back up to the public, and hopefully make it a success. Bryn James, his assistant, came with the winery and has been by his side every step of the way. Her efficiency and hard work have been invaluable to Matt, and so giving into his growing attraction to her could be disastrous. She is his employee and subordinate after all, and if things went wrong he could lose his best asset. The funny thing about this whole situation is that Bryn is completely not his type! She wears dowdy, ill fitting suits, no makeup, and sensible shoes. Yet, this woman seems to be driving him wild!
There’s something going on under those bland, downright unflattering clothes too. I can tell. I’m not an idiot. She’s hiding breasts and an ass that are probably pretty damn amazing.
Matt’s stunned when Bryn rethinks her look. He thought she was irresistible before, now he’s a goner for sure!
Having a crush on the boss is a really bad idea for Bryn. She needs this job to stay in Napa and away from her hometown in Texas, but working so close with Matt has made falling for him inevitable. It’s not even that he’s so completely gorgeous, maybe Bryn could resist that, but he’s the whole package: smart, fair and passionate about everything he does. Still, the situation could get very sticky, but she’s having a hard time telling herself no.
Both Matt and Bryn were highly likable characters, and I was rooting for them to get together from page one. Seeing these two fight their feelings and slowly lose the battle was enjoyable. I love the idea of not being attracted to someone initially, and then falling hard when you get to know them. It’s usually a much more intense connection, and Matt and Bryn had some fiery scenes to prove it! Monica Murphy never lets you down in the spice department!
Savor was a sweet and spicy romance that ticked all the boxes for me. I can’t wait to see what Monica Murphy comes up with next!

Actually 0.5 star because I finished it. This book take one step lower. The heroine goes like this: " MY EXTREMELY SEXY GOOD LOOK RUINED MY LIFE. I'M TOO GORGEOUS FOR MY OWN GOOD. THAT'S WHY I DECIDED TO WEAR BAGGY, PLAIN, BEIGE CLOTHES TO HIDE MY BEAUTY, BECAUSE I'M NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY WHEN I WEAR CLOTHES THAT SHOWS MY PERFECT BODY. PEOPLE TEND TO THINK I'M A SLUT AND MEN JUST THINK ABOUT REACHING UNDER MY SKIRT OR WANT ME TO SUCK THEIR COCK"

The final installment of the Billionaire Bachelor's Club is here and it's Matt's turn to fall.
Matt DeLuca is the former baseball player and now aspiring winery owner. He's not trying to succeed for the fame or the money, he had the fame and has plenty of green in the bank. What he wants is to prove that he can be something, something bigger than just his father's son. He's also the last man standing in the million dollar bet with his two friends. But he's about to be swept up in the same frenzy that his buddies, Archer and Gage got mixed up in.
Bryn James is keeping her head down and her nose clean. She's escaped her life from small town Texas hoping and after her beauty attracted all the wrong men and advances, she is trying to blend in and just live her life. Escaping Texas to Hollywood and eventually ending up in Napa as the plain assistant to Matt, she is finding it hard to deny her attraction to her boss - a slippery slope that she's slide down once already.
Matt's not sure what it is about Bryn that captured his thoughts, she's not the typical type he goes for. But as she is pushed to reveal her true self a bit and starts to let her beauty show, Matt is finally starting to lose control over his desire for his assistant. But these two seem to take two steps backwards with each step forward. Both admitting their attraction, both opening up about their past and their fears and both unwilling to take what they want.
But one explosive night pushes them both, just in opposite directions.; now Matt finds himself having to chase the woman he's fallen in love with. Oh, and that bet.... the terms have been amended but Matt might just end up winning after all.

Okay so this series has been a complete blast to read. I loved every single one of them (Archer though is still #1). The only thing about this one that had me shaking my head was Bryn's constant insecurities and issues with her looks and past. I was waiting for something more dramatic to come out of her past with all the thoughts she had flying around her head, but found that it was really just what she said it was. I liked her overall as a character and loved it when she became a little sassy and seductive, but when she was replaying her past I wanted to shake the hell out of her.
Matt was close to perfect, he had the mix of control and being bossy, all the while being a good guy. He had his own burdens and they were justified. He also was freaking adorable with his early inner-musings over his sudden feelings for Bryn. I always love it when the guy is puzzled over the sudden attraction for a woman. It's like the stupid just makes them sexier.
A fantastic final installment for this three book series. I was wishing that we'd get introduced to another single billionaire so the series could continue. Maybe we'll get a final epilogue of sorts to wrap up all their stories - please?!?!

Last book in the series, Matt DeLuca is trying to get out from under his womanizing loser of a father. He played professional ball until a couple of years before the start of the book, but he blew out his knee, so he decided to purchase a winery in Napa Valley to make his mark. Bryn James, described as a Angelina Jolie lookalike, is trying to play down her looks, tired of being the girl who’s hit on and treated as a tramp before she even says a word.
I liked Bryn and Matt, though their romance seemed to take a long time to get moving. There’s alot of time spent denying feelings, trying to do the right thing. I think it was meant to build angst, but instead, it felt a bit contrived.
As a series, I liked Bryn and Matt much more than Gage and Marina, but Ivy and Archer would be my vote for the best romance through it all. Overall, it was light fluffy reading, - easy to read, easy to forget. The writing wasn’t terrible, but it lacked anything to distinguish it from other standard billionaire romance series.

Savor is the third book in the Billionaire Bachelors Club by Monica Murphy. This series has been fun, and I enjoyed this final book with its forbidden romance. Mini review: familiar tropes and lovable characters made this a fun, sexy read.
Matthew DeLuca is the last man to fall and by rights should be a million dollars richer but of course his pals want to renegotiate the terms. He claims he plans to collect, but then there is Bryn James his office assistant whose smell is making him crazy. She dresses in beige, baggy clothes and keeps her hair up in a severe knot, but he cannot help but notice her. It must be the stress and late nights involved in opening his new winery because she is not his type. Ooo the tale that unfolds is electric as Bryn and Matthew try to avoid the inevitable.
Matthew is a former baseball player whose career ended when he blew out his knee, and his friends convinced him to relocate to Napa Valley. He bought and restored a winery that now bears his name. I immediately liked Matthew. He is sexy and an all around good guy. Office relationships are taboo but he cannot stop thinking about his assistant and I loved watching him struggle. Bryn James is delighted with her new boss and despite a nasty encounter with a former boss that completely changed her; she cannot help fantasizing about the man. I enjoyed the sexual tension and cat and mouse game Bryn and Matthew played. Previous characters are present. Ivy and Marina meddle with Bryn and of course Archer and Gage get into the game taunting Matthew. It was good fun.
Savor was a fun romance, predictable and sexy romance. Bryn drove me a little batty with her back and forth. She went from“I want him” to fretting over past mistakes and it caused us to backtrack a little. It may have been meant as angst, but it was annoying. The romance built slowly with one step forward, two steps back, but those steps forward were delicious and had me flipping the pages. This is a relatively short novel, and I devoured it in a single sitting. It made me laugh, roll my eyes and swoon. Overall it was a solid read and one I enjoyed.
Savor and the rest of the Billionaire Bachelors Club series offer quick, fun romances and I enjoyed the friendships and interactions. My favorite of the series remains Crave, and Murphy is an author I will read again.

Matt and Bryn's story was good, but not great. It felt sometimes a little rushed and some other a little slow. I wanted to see more possessiveness from Matts part.
Bryn was torn between her attraction to Matt and the fact that he was is her boss. I wouldn't have minded that if it wasn't for her jumping from one decision toanother. One minute she was after Matt and the next she is pushing him away saying that he is her boss and they can't do anything.
The book is short which means that it doesnt take much time to read it and it wasnt unpleasant or bad so I am leaning towards the " you should read it" suggestion.

Savior by Monica Murphy is a 2014 Avon Impulse publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Matthew DeLuca followed in his father's footsteps and became a major league baseball player. Out to prove he is not like his father, Matthew is proud of his accomplishments until he blew out his knee. Now he is starting over in the business world which led him to purchase a Napa Valley vineyard that had been foreclosed upon. The only person remaining with the vineyard was Bryn James who would be his assistant.
Bryn was adamantly opposed to any kind of office romance. She has been burned by that type of relationship before. So, instead of calling attention to her assets, she tries to hide them by wearing drab, loose fitting clothes and tying her hair up in a tight bun.
Matthew is puzzled as to why he can't stop thinking about his assistant. She is certainly not his type and she seems to go out of her way to look as plain as possible. But, she smells so good and there is something about her that he just can't put his finger on.
So, for months Matthew and Bryn stick to business and while they have a nice work relationship, neither of them want to get involved, despite their attraction to one another.
Matthew's sister in law has other plans. She knows Matthew has a thing for his assistant and begins to work on giving Bryn a makeover... and it works , a little too well.
I love these Billionaire e-series novellas from Avon Impulse. Bryn is the small town girl that is sort of out of her element in Matthew's world. As a person that has spent more time in small towns than large cities, I can attest to the feeling of intimidation that can cause. Being around the type of money and the fame that goes along with being involved with Matthew would make any normal girl feel the way Bryn did, at least a little. Add to that all the problems Bryn has had with men in the past and you have a woman suffering from a few insecurites. Matthew is living in the shadow of his famous and bad boy father who has an atrocious manner and likes to try and control Matthew's life and who also embarrasses the entire family.
Matthew wants a woman that will love him for who is inside and not for his money or fame and so far he hasn't had any luck with that. This leads Matthew to confidently make a million dollar bet with his best friends. If he keep his hands off women and manage not to fall in love in the next 45 days, he will walk away with a million dollars? Will he win or lose?

This is the third and final book in the Billionaire Bachelors series. In the first book Archer, Gage and Matt made a million dollar bet over who would be the last to fall in love, each betting on themselves. Archer and Gage are both now in steady relationships, leaving Matt as the winner, but they've noticed that he seems to be fighting attraction to his PA at his winery, and agree that the bet will be rendered null and void if nothing happens between them in the next 45 days.
Bryn James is a girl who does her best not to be noticed. She's had some horrible experiences in the past, men seem to see her as just a sex object, even though she actually isn't experienced at all. She comes from a small town and has a really poor view of her self-worth. Bryn really likes Matt, and now Ivy and Marina (Archer and Gage's girlfriends) have been trying to talk her into giving herself a bit of a makeover to see if Matt will finally sit up and take notice.
I have never heard of Bryn being used as a name for a female, it's an old-fashioned man's name to me, but once I'd got over this mental image I found this an easy to read romance. The only thing is that quite a few things felt contrived to me. Firstly, Bryn is meant to be stunningly attractive, but Matt has never noticed this because she has a bun, no make up and baggy clothes. if she's that stunning, I find this surprising. That being said, this was pretty entertaining to read, even if it did stretch credibility for me a few times. The ending is just lovely, it's sweet as well as being funny, but it would have been nice if there had been a bit more, it was a little bit sudden.
It was good to round off the stories off all three friends. My personal favourite was the first one, Archer and Ivy's story, Crave.
Bryn James is a girl who does her best not to be noticed. She's had some horrible experiences in the past, men seem to see her as just a sex object, even though she actually isn't experienced at all. She comes from a small town and has a really poor view of her self-worth. Bryn really likes Matt, and now Ivy and Marina (Archer and Gage's girlfriends) have been trying to talk her into giving herself a bit of a makeover to see if Matt will finally sit up and take notice.
I have never heard of Bryn being used as a name for a female, it's an old-fashioned man's name to me, but once I'd got over this mental image I found this an easy to read romance. The only thing is that quite a few things felt contrived to me. Firstly, Bryn is meant to be stunningly attractive, but Matt has never noticed this because she has a bun, no make up and baggy clothes. if she's that stunning, I find this surprising. This is the final book in the Billionaire Bachelor Club series. Each book is about a different couple but they are all friends and appear in each others books.
Bryn James is Matt De Luca’s assistant at his winery. While she tries to downplay her looks by not wearing makeup and wearing baggy ugly clothes, Matt is still fascinated by her. Bryn is equally attracted to Matt but she has had bad experiences with men who were her boss so she is afraid to act on her feelings.
I really enjoyed Matt’s character. He was often thoughtful, kind, polite, generous, just an all around great guy. He knows that he has no right to try to start up a relationship with a women that works for him so he keeps his distance from Bryn. Once he finally decides that he wants her for more than just sex, he tries to figure out how to win her over. Bryn however really annoyed me a lot. She is so insecure that and unwilling to open up and make friends that it was like pulling teeth to get some emotion out of her. I enjoyed her internal monologues about why she felt the way she did but she never really opens up to anyone about it until almost the end of the book. I would have liked her to have been a bit more forthcoming. Also her constant need for reassurance was a bit annoying. I understand that pretty much all the men in her life had been jerks but she put too much stock in what other people thought of her instead of thinking for herself.
I did like how the author continued to build the relationship between Bryn and Matt throughout the book. They got to know each other over months before their book and then during this book they continue to learn about each other and don’t hope straight into bed. I would have liked to see them as a couple longer before the inevitable drama happened.
I have to say that I felt gypped at the end of the book. What happened? Did the last chapter get cut? Surely it wasn’t meant to end that way. No epilogue and their relationship barely settled? I was sure we had at least another chapter but all I got was author information. Maybe she is leaving it open to publish a short that is going to be a ‘where are they now’ kind of deal but I wasn’t a fan at all of the way the story ended. It was too abrupt in my opinion.

I have enjoyed Monicas books in the past so I was eager to read this one. I really hate weak woman roles and Bryn was that and more. I felt like she was self deprecating and didn’t fight for what she wanted. I also felt like Matt should have romanced her and not just pulled her in for a kiss to start a relationship. The billionaire part was totally not necessary- in fact I think the book would have been better just a guy that lost his career in baseball and bought a winery. Hard work and dedication is more sexy than money!

I'd been a fan of the Billionaire Bachelors Club series since the beginning. It's been a really easy and quite amazing journey for a reader like me. I really love it! I just hope that the story is longer.
Matthew DeLuca I think is the tamest of the three. I want him. Bryn James is a misjudge character here, she thinks that people think low of her. People should realize that it's a bad thing to do.

“You’re also a classic avoider, aren’t you? Ah, men. You’re all the same.” – Ivy
Even though Bryn tries to cover up everything beautiful about her, Matt still succeeds to grow mad about her. They both think that it’s a bad idea, but they don’t even know that their ‘feelings’ are mutual. There’s also some good news for Gabe and Marina!
“The Autumn Harvest Bakery and Café is super cute and super popular.” – Bryn
And then Ivy tries to butt in. She wants to set Matt and Bryn.
“We want to try and pair you up with Matt.” – Ivy
The guys rethink everything about the bet, Archer and Gabe come with a proposition for Matt.
“I want to add a stipulation. No sex either. So no relationship, no sex, no one night stands, nothing for you, Matt, for the next forty-five days. You withstand it, you’ll get your million bucks… Plus another two-hundred fifty thousand to make it interesting.” – Archer
And then Bryn gets a make-over.
“Damn. I’m in huge trouble.” – Matt
Things get heated when they both need to stay late for some work for the new winery.
“I think I’m going to kiss her.” – Matt
But Bryn has some ‘problems’ they aren’t really big ones. But she always has been treated like she’s only a piece of meat. And when she meets Matts dad on the opening evening… Let’s just say that he brings the bad memories to the surface.
“Tell me, are you fucking my son?” – Matts dad
But then when he sees that she doesn’t feel like herself because of the things his dad said, he totally like…
“Fuck the bet.” –Matt
But I don’t understand Bryn sometimes. She thinks she needs to quit, because of what happened with Matt, but when Matt barges in and asks if she can come with him to New York, well, she’s all in. But like always there are some doubts. Like always. Bryn doesn’t seem capable to be worriless.
And when he tells Gabe about his plans, Gabe’s convinced that he’s doing it to get into Bryns pants without getting caught and by that losing the bet. Bryn is staying as his assistant but Matt immediately notices a change in her behavior.
“I’m grumpy as hell because I want Bryn, and she’s turned off the signal completely. It’s like she barely realizes I exist.” – Matt
And when his denying goes wrong..
“Give me a break, man. We know exactly why you’re taking Bryn with you. To get in her panties.”
“Definitely not, I think she’s over me."
“Ha! You admit it; you two are interested in each other.”
“Yeah well, if she was interested in me, she’s definitely not now. She’s back to the efficient, no-nonsense Miss James.”
They go out to eat together, and that’s when she tells him her past. Everything that she experienced in her life. It’s like the first time they really talk about stuff other than work.
“I won’t sleep with you matt.”
“What I’m suggesting won’t involve any sleeping, Bryn.”
He’s actually sweet to her, that’s what I’ve been missing with Matt, he has advanced his game.
“I’m not that guy. And I’m definitely not married. And I don’t have any kids either. You can kiss this boss all you want.” – Matt
And with that, BAM.
“There are lots of things we shouldn’t do. Sometimes we just have to do it anyway.” – Matt
And boy, they do! It’s just that the day after everything blows up in their faces. Or should I say Bryns face? It’s just that his dad fucked everything up for them. Bryn has a severe lack of self-esteem. And she’s doubting the whole thing between the two of them before it has even really started. When they talk about how they feel and about the photo and the article, Bryn talks about how she was going to give her notice to him after the New York trip. And when he asks her…
“So you still want to give your notice?”
*Nod*
“Then I accept your notice. You don’t even need to give me two weeks. We’re done.”
Oh, God, why don’t you fight for her, try to convince her otherwise? Why do you just give up on her. She needs someone to fight for her. *Slap, right… IN… THE…FACE…* stupid ass…
And now I want you to know why I love books and series like this one. You know the friends and other characters, you know what they’ve been through. And even better sometimes you still love them… And that’s when Gage barges in, and makes me love him more.
“Go after her. Go to her hometown and tell her you want her back. “
“You make it sound so easy.”
“That’s because it is. Just hop on a plane and go that little Podunk town of hers and find her. Can’t be that hard to figure out where she lives, her address. When you see her, tell her how you feel.”
And then finally!
“I’ll do it.” – Matt
And he finds her but how. I laughed my ass off with this!
“I’m not talking to a chicken. I’m talking to a rooster.” – Bryn
Yes, the rooster scene was just what I needed!
They try to keep everything light, but it turns out that light never was meant to be said in a sentence to describe them!
“I love you.”
“I love you too, Matt. I missed you so much I- I couldn’t stand being without you.”
The title is explained at the ending, even though there was already some explanation.
His company (or his winery) is called Savor but also…
“Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m saying. Only when you call me your savior, I gotta say, you’ve become mine too.” – Matt
I thought it was kind of sad that there wasn’t really and epilogue for the three books. But I enjoyed this book, as much as the other books in this series.
I give this book 5 stars, it’s best one of three! And the song that I thought fitted really well with this book is “You’re the one that I want” from the move grease!

This is the last book in this series of Bryn and Matthew. I like the boss and employee love stories because it's taboo. In this love story, Bryn is Matthew assistant, but she wants to be more and to get him to notice her, she changes her demeanor and appears more more sexual to him until he gives in. This storyline was good, the characters were good, but the sexual tension (chemistry) and sex scenes are what I look forward to in love stories - because I'm a prev and sex is apart of being in love - so I need that. I didn't get enough of that in this book. This was an alright reads.

Book Three in the Billionaire Bachelors Club tell the story of Matthew DeLuca, retired baseball star and rising winery owner. His buddies have found their women leaving him the winner of their million dollar bets. He should be on cloud nine but he’s not! He’s become obsessed with Bryn, his assistant who is perfect for the job, and maybe him?
I love the whole bad boy, sweet misunderstood girl theme! The characters are adorable and the story is entertaining. Nice ending for this series.

I don’t know how I feel about this one. On one hand, it’s a steamy good time. On the other hand, all the harassment the heroine has gone through is just always on the mind. It was very sad. I know it’s great when the hero steps in & admits his love & longing, but it would be even better if the h could see that she didn’t deserve the harassment in the first place. I never felt like she really got it.

I enjoyed this audiobook. I personally found that the book was too predictable. I can't say I loved all of the characters, specially the friends they were annoying and the pregnant girl really bothered me.

Es una historia corta y rápida de leer, pero no logré conectar con los personajes, siento que el conflicto fue muy ¿rápido?, bueno realmente no sé si le podríamos llamar conflicto a eso pero bueno, cada quien.

The longer the series goes on, the more I dislike it. It feels incredibly juvenile, despite the characters being mid to late 20's. Lancaster Prep felt more adult than this.. I think it's mostly due to the spice levels.

Good book. I was a little impatient for the sexual tension to be satisfied as it happened rather late in the book, but above all, I enjoyed it.

This was another spicy, consuming, and fantastic novella that I devoured! These characters had great chemistry and a story I couldn’t get enough of! I can’t wait for more!
