Pastor and television preacher John Avanzini, who has written numerous books on the subject of biblical economics, answers questions related to money in this small book from Harrison House.
"The ant shows us the wisdom of setting something aside for the future." ~ John Avanzini, John Avanzini Answers Your Questions About Biblical Economics, p. 112
There are some good answers found in this book in respect to what the Bible has to say about financial matters. Some of the questions that are asked in this book are the following:
1. Why should I obey the Bible about how I spend my money?
2. Should I give to the Lord if my husband doesn't want me to?
3. Is it wrong for Christians to use credit cards?
4. Is it wrong for a divorced Christian to avoid paying child support?
The only part in the book I disagreed with is John's interpretation of John 1:38, 39 on page 120-121. He claimed that this scripture indicates that Jesus had a house. I am not sure if Jesus did, but this Scripture should not be used as confirmation that he did, as it obvious Jesus could have been staying at a hotel or a friends place, when it says, "They came and saw where he dwelt". So I think John took this Scripture of context.
Otherwise, I found some great insight in the book!
