I was expecting so much from this short and was so disappointed with what I got. The story was pretty much devoid of action considering that the future of all covens were at stake. The story was more about healing the rifts in the four main character's personalities. I honestly cannot recommend this story.

I was given this book by the author for review.

I really enjoyed Roadblock. The story was well written and kept me turning the page to find out what would happen next. The author has a nice writing style and the story flowed very smoothly. The romance between Dagger and Cal was well written and I really liked the compassion between the two of them. Wade and Bet were both interesting characters and I was hoping they would end up together. The suspense in the story was well written, and I had no problem following the story.

While this short M/M supernatural romance is well thought of, decently written and makes for a fairly entertaining read I expected more from the author of Taming the Fox.
Characterization was the main asset there but is weaker here: the general outlining of the characters is well conceived but rather weakly executed. I did not really care for them and came to the HEA with scant satisfation.
The many details about witches are a bit overwhelming, not well woven into the plot and on the didactic side of politically correct.

2.5 stars. I wanted a more expanded version. Because how short the book was I felt that the romance took a back seat to and everything else about the plot felt rushed

I think this would have been a terrific story if it had been longer. As it was, everything just moved too fast and it didn't leave any time for me to make a connection with the characters. Such a pity.

Great story. Loved the characters. Kinda short for me. Just as I was getting into the story it was over. Hope to see these characters in another story.
