Three Books in One: One of a Kind, Stuck Like Glue, and Never Too Small for God, kids' Bible studies about the Apostle Peter, about friends, and about young heroes.

In this three-in-one study you will learn...

... about a man who talked when he should have been quiet, who ran when he should have stayed put, who doubted when he was supposed to believe -- but who was transformed by God into a strong, bold leader.

... about six kids who paid attention to what God had to say -- and who became the biggest heroes of their times!

... about making and keeping friends, what kinds of friends to avoid, what to do when your friends disappoint you, and how to become God's special friend.

I'm happy to share with you my latest book (written with Connally Gillam). It's called ...And Yet Undaunted: Embraced by the Goodness of God in the Chaos of Life. I think you'll find it a fresh take on God's goodness when life look anything but that, so to speak. Some of you know I wrote Strong Women, Soft Hearts and Sex and the Soul of a Woman. I'm a counselor and speaker living in Raleigh, North Carolina, but really, my first love is writing and books.
I think you'll find this latest book, especially, describes the life you are living....and the hope on the horizon you can see, however faintly at times.

Was pre-reading as a possible book for my 6th graders devotions. It felt too simple and almost silly.

We read this as part of my daughter's 4th grade curriculum. It's a good beginning topical Bible study.
