Fatherhood is as precious as motherhood but often mothers are recognised for their sacrifice while what father's do tend to be conveniently ignored. This might be the reason when we check for parenthood related books, most of them are for mothers . Is it a new generation thing or was it like that always? However it is, Dr. Prakash Jindal has recognised the privilege and importance of fatherhood and has dedicated a whole book to the fathers.
Unlike the general notion, father's are not just money-making machines. They are also human beings in flesh and blood and kids expect a lot of love and compassion from their fathers. As the author says, your wife might complain about not spending time with family and your kids might not but that doesn't mean that they don't realize your absence. By spending quality time with your kids you can find tremendous change in their personality.
A lot of points have been touched in the book from building self worth to helping them with problem solving. The most relevant one in the current scenario is 'delayed gratification'. Kids rolling on the floor crying is a common sight these days and their parents would finally succumb to the pressure in order to avoid public humiliation. But such a practice not only spoils them as human beings but also make them vulnerable. The term delayed gratification is the most relevant one and a whole chapter on the same is sure to change the mindset of someone who is approaching the book with an open mind.
A diaper changing dad might not be a sight that we are used to seeing, thinking of which we realize that most diaper changing rooms are inside ladies toilet or attached to feeding rooms as if the authorities also have overlooked the fact that dads too change the diaper. The thought process is novel and tend to change the mindset. Incantation or positive affirmations is another surprising point discussed in the book. Author has given a pointer to what all should we include and exclude from incantations.
Discovering and developing talent and inculcating self worth are the two chapters and two important factors that have been dealt with in the book. While the book prioritises on recognition of our kids, many points are rhetoric and impractical. The busy schedule of the dads could have been considered instead of counting them as mere living beings. The game ideas are unique and having far fetched results but how to find time for the games is something that has been overlooked. Nonetheless the positives of the book have overshadowed the negatives. The do's and don'ts in the conclusion wraps off this wonderful book with a silver lining.
Overall the book can be recommended to all fathers and even mothers who want to make the lives of their kids special and make them capable of accomplishing their ambitions.

There are many books for mothers or moms-to-be on how to take be the best mom. But there are few books which focus on how to be the super dad. This book One Minute Super Dad by Dr. Prashant Jindal is one such self-help books which will help all the fathers making their kids the happy kids.

I absolutely loved reading this book as this books teaches book quick tips on how to raise amazing children. There are many important things advised by Author which can help children achieve greatness in their lives. Author has also shared the magic moments between fathers and their kids, these special moments really touched me. I am sharing some of the best things I have learnt from this book.

Reading books to kids is the biggest gift a parent can give to their children.
Do not raise voice or give in when your child throws a tantrum. That would be seen as a weakness of yours and after some time, such tantrums would not increase in frequency but in intensity too.
Importance of Incantations/Positive Affirmations. The habits that can be developed in children. For example, everyday,I am getting stronger and stronger. The reason is when something is repeated enough, the subconscious mind will eventually accept it as a fact and mould the person accordingly without too much trouble.
Inculcating self-worth in children because self-worth determines practically every decision we make. A healthy self-worth serves a person for life and can help him breeze through any kind of hardship or suffering. For this, we will have to reward them with praise. Instill a string sense of self-worth, make them believe they are special from the earliest possible age.
Quality time is the best gift you can give to your kids. Tell them how much you love them and give them compliments. A family that prays together stays together so introduce spiritual practices to them.
You're their role model so don't tell lies to your children or in front of them.
Encourage your children to live with the available money. Teach them gratitude.
Author has explained the importance of music and singing and how it can affect health, brain development, behavioural patterns, intelligence and well-being as positively.
To know more about such helpful tips, you must read the book. I would like to give 5/5 Stars to this book. I found the book cover really attractive and title apt. I would recommend it to everyone, not just dads but to all moms too.

Rudimentarily geared toward dads ONE MINUTE SUPER DAD   is an excellent handbook for every father who wants to ensure a heavenly  future to his progeny.

This wonderful  volume by Dr Prashant  Jindal, Foreword by Raymond Aaron   imparts crucial and  critical lessons  to shape and improve the quality of the children’s life drawing  from his  own experiences, research, and studies along with the sayings of many a motivational teachers   and coaches like Tony Robbins.

99 Magic moments  are put  into logical sections concerning broad areas: Necessities , life  principles, and practical tips.  . Each moment deals with the advices as well as suggestions. Occasionally, the author has supplemented   the Magic   with pictures with amazing texts to highlight  and reinforce them.

The magic  themselves are  adorable and actionable. For example, Magic 55  coaxes the father to create a collection of photos of your family and children that you can all enjoy seeing together now and then.

There are 11 chapters each one captioned .  The first one – Why is a Super Dad is so Crucial Today?

My favorite is Music: Nutrient of Mind and Body.

The following nuggets of wisdom from the book have touched my heart.

A high self-worth is the ultimate gift that parents can give to their child, which in turn would prove mutually rewarding.

Parenting is a skill that can be acquired, honed and nurtured , one that needs some self discipline too, as there is a tender mind observing it all.

Hug your child every day and say ,’You are my most precious thing in the world”. After all , a hug a day keeps the psychiatrist away.

The title , subtitle  are fantabulous.  The bold letters, seamless language , fantastic narrative prose and the references from well acclaimed authors and speakers make the reading an effortless and engaging one.

The cover design by Rashmi Gupta is brilliant.

I recommend this book to all dads , and moms to understand the role of the fathers. On special occasions this book should  be given as  a gift. It would change dads totally .

As the profit of the sale of the book is going to charitable cause on your single investment in the book would give you double benefits.

Albeit a two hours sufficient for reading the book I suggest this book should take a place in your shelf to be taken frequently to reread it and savor the pearls of wisdom

Parenting in general takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. There's this saying, be the parent today that you want your kids to remember tomorrow. The first thing I did before picking up this book was asking my dad about how was his childhood and especially about his bonding with his dad. He was a little confused about my question. So then he finally said; I wish I'd a dad like yours, that doesn't mean that I hate my dad. The kids of this generation don't know how Lucky they are. We didn't enjoy the freedom that you have today, I hardly spoke to him when I was a kid. But he was always there whenever I needed him the most, just like a Shadow. Those days the kids worshipped the father, like a God, but these days they look for a Superman within them. As time passed the idea of parenting might have changed, but not the love & bonding. To every kid his dad is something special in his/her own way. I hope the book you're holding will give you a new dimension about the parenting, Happy reading.

One Minute Super Dad is one of its kind which is like a practical guide to bring up your children. Every page is a magic and you will not be able to stop yourself reading the book until the last page is not turned. Parenting isn't an easy job, especially for the father. And this book will help you in excelling in it. It helps you to understand the right emotions that the child is going through and how one should deal with it without hurting the feelings of the child. It does put the mistakes you make into perspective, discusses its consequences for your children, and provides clear guidance on how to correct these mistakes for favorable impact on your children.

The best part of the book is the author not only talks about the one minute magic or one minute grenades, he also gives us a suggestion or solutions how to win over the problems with references to the people who have experienced similar situations. Filled with rich experiences and practical guidelines which have been practiced by people. Great efforts taken by the authors in compiling those moments. It helps in dealing with our daily life conversations in a simpler way. And how one minute can change the whole aspect of living, making your fatherhood memorable.

Overall, one minute super dad is something that every father has to read and learn something from it. Not every book can be read again and again, this is one such book where this just shouldn't be kept in your bookshelves. One has to revisit reading it again and again. I rate this book with 4.5 out of 5 stars. And this goes to my highly recommended shelves.

Note: Thanks to Writersmelon and HarperCollins for providing me this copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.

Currently these types of books are very rarely to get from the market, an eye opening topics are described by the author. In today’s world where bonding between father and son is very tense, this book will help to bridge the gap between them. Although book is targeted to fathers only but after reading, I suggest moms should also follow this book.

Many years of extensive research makes this book a perfect read for new dads to inspire and uplift the spirit of their kids. How a small thing makes a lasting impression on children’s mind is perfectly articulated by the author. Each and every one minute magic depicted in the book is handy tool to upgrade dads for bonding with kids.

Power of positive thought and importance of visualization is very well described through the book; read the chapter on charity i.e. how a small positive thought planted in kids mind will reap a healthy fruit in future by helping unfortunate peoples.

In 21st century where to raise one child is difficult but here in the book the importance of siblings is given by the author which is eye opening and also how a bonding between first bloods will help each other at the time of adversity. There is one picture on page no 38 where a child is watching a
TV, also surrounded by different gadgets in a jail but the picture presentation is so perfect that it conveys the meaning of a biggest junk in progress of a child is easily understood by looking at it.

Last chapter of the book “Some true magic moment stories of dads” highly inspiring and how small things makes a deep impression on kids mind is presented to the readers, also Do’s and Don’ts is very helpful to be a super dad from the book.

I highly recommend this wonderful book to new dads, also to those who are having tuff time bonding with their kids. The book is for everyone, read this book to install good habits in your child.

‘One Minute Super Dad’ is a self help book made not only for newbie dads but also for somebody who wants to know more about being dad and their responsibilities towards their kids. This book has some great tips and some fun ideas that dads can follow and spend some quality time with their kids. The book gives tips on how it is not just mom’s responsibility to inculcate good habits in children but dad’s too can try and inculcate some good habits in the children. Teaching the kids to be thankful for what they have and to make understand or rather show them how people don’t get the basic necessities of life and to have those things in their life they should be thankful to God for those things. Normally, kids throw tantrums if they don’t get what they want and as a parent it is your responsibility to teach and show them that they cannot have all the things they want right then and there or distract their attention from the thing they want to something interesting that they like and would like to do but then too if the kid is throwing tantrums it’s better to wait for them to settle on their own and not to give in to their tantrums and buy them the things they want because if we buy them the thing they want after their tantrums the tantrums are just going to increase as they know how to get things using tantrums and as a parent it is your responsibility to make him understand and show him that everything in life comes at the right time and how after getting the thing they should show their gratitude towards them thus instilling in them the habit of showing gratitude for small things in their life.

Non-Fiction shall always be my favorite. Though there are too many books coming in this genre but not every non-fiction book is amazing. It all depends on the way it is narrated and how well the practical aspects are kept in mind. Though reading a book on parenting tips is not relevant to me at this age but you can always read a book and pick up something good from it.

Without any doubt, this is an amazing book that is every man must read. Whether the man is about to be a father or is a father, this book has some of the best tips on raising children well. The tips are simple and can be easily followed by anyone. To make the things clear in a better manner, some of the subjects and their solutions are listed down in points. The tagline of the book says, “99 Magic Moments To Raise Amazing Children”. In the book, you will find 99 points in the middle of different chapters which are referred as One Minute Magic. They are amazing to read.
On a lighter yet serious note, I am sure of one thing after reading this book. It is that I have been raised up by a Super Dad because I am an Amazing Child.

The cover is a good one. The “A” in DAD has been beautifully replaced by a man with his child. That illustration is a nostalgic moment. The title is also perfect for this story including the tagline. The concept is good because there are many books as parenting tips for mothers but fathers are left behind in this. The narration is beautiful and the author has made the book an interesting one.

Thanks to the author, publishers and the entire team for bringing up this beautifully written book.

Parenting is an art and this book enables its readers to master that art.

It is a simply written book that provides a fresh insight into the concept of parenting. Being a parent, that too an idle one is not easy. But believe me, give this book a read and the whole maze will become able to get through.

The shelves are piled up with books for mothers and the market is exploiting them to get profit but here’s a book which is different. Written by a father himself, this book contains simple techniques presented in a really simplified manner. The ‘one-minute magic’ are snippets that seem to be enlightenment delivered in the form of small bundles of happiness. The novel is penned down concisely with all the crucial points put down meticulously.

It discusses the importance of communication and the need of spending quality time with the children. During their formative years, when their minds are raw, they need to be molded well in order to yield responsible and good human beings out of them. It emphatically speaks about encouraging them and appreciating their innate talents. The book clearly puts forth the idea that the parents must be the role models of their progenies. To be the one, the parents have to devise diverse strategies to engage their offsprings.

The book is designed on a novel concept and turns out to be even more relatable as it contains the experiences o several other fathers. The whole narrative includes the first-hand experiences of the author as well his extensive research done on the topic.

And therefore, I feel every father should read this book for its authenticity and natural beauty. It is exceptionally well and indeed, a fine piece of informative literature.

With no uncertainty, this is a stunning book that is each man must read. Regardless of whether the man is going to be a father or is a father, this book has a portion of the best tips on bringing up kids well. The tips are straightforward and can be effectively used by anybody. To make the things clear in a superior way, a portion of the subjects and their answers are recorded down in focuses. The slogan of the book says, "99 Magic Moments To Raise Amazing Children". In the book, you will discover 99 focuses amidst various parts which are alluded as One Minute Magic.

On a genuine note, I am certain of one thing subsequent to perusing this book. It is that I will be going to use it a lot on a practical level (though there's a long time for that to happen)

Data, perceptions and encounters in the initial years of life are recorded in the subliminal personality and shape a youngster's identity we can impact kids decidedly through these. So, it really helps you make sure that you or anyone else don't spoil those important moments for your children.

Dialect is striking with Coherent substance. The title is a clear and precious stone and the cover is fair too. This book is an ideal present for the future guardians and furthermore for the present parents. The writer has done his home function admirably and explored completely. I concur with him this can change our fathers for tomorrow and beyond.

We all have grown up hearing that parenting is a mixed effort of both mother and father. But very fewer fathers' participate and the whole work is being left to mothers. Not because they do not want to but because they do not know how. Therefore, this non- fiction book is a complete guide for fathers on how they can contribute their part towards parenting and inculcating good values. The methods are given and one-minute magic tips are something that every parent can use on a daily basis. Simple, easy techniques can help in overall development of your kids. Also, this book is a must-read for all. Whether you are already a parent or is going to be one soon;  the ideas, tricks, tips are given are going to help you in long run and will prepare your kids to be smart and intelligent.

As the author has truly said, " The importance of parenting is borne by the fact that how we treat our children in the first ten to twelve years determines or shapes the course of their entire lives"

Lively writing style with euphoric tone made it more engrossing. The book can be finished in a very less time because the author has focused on main points with no irrelevance added. Overall, a, must read the book for all parents and soon to be parents because " Every child has within him seeds of greatness. All we have to do is to provide the right environment to nurture them. we do not have to reinvent anything".

Afterall, " Parenting is an art and not science".

Many books have been written on parenting for young mothers, but when it comes to young dads the book shelves are almost empty. One Minute Super Dad Dr.Prashant Jinal fills this void. Being a young father in today's modern age I can certainly say that parenting is no longer a woman's job. One Minute Super Dad will definitely serve as a guide, as a manual for inexperienced fathers.

The book opens with alarming statistics showing how young children are affected with spectrum of mental health disorders. By citing it the author underlines that today's father have a challenging role to play.

Today's fathers are no longer the dictators that they used to be a generation back. Yet it is equally true that there exists a communication gap between the father and children. The book equips you with a variety of open ended questions whereby this communication gap could be bridged. It also shares a number of techniques, both heard and unheard which would help in better bonding. The author uses a language which is both simple yet riveting. He quotes various research findings and it is indeed the author's success that you don't yawn while reading them. This book addresses a welcome change in the parenting responsibilities on the Indian scene. Hence it should be lapped up.

The author has filled ocean of suggestions and tips for the parents in the pot. There are about 99 one minute magical ideas and suggestions in the book for the parents of toddlers to teens. All the tips are super simple and doable one just needs to be devoted and consistent in their efforts.

Even with a plethora of ideas to tackle various precarious situation parents face while rearing the child, the author has managed to keep the size of the book super thin. This is so because he didn't waste precious words on unnecessary builds up and was on the point right from the beginning.

The book is crisp to read, suggestions are concise and precise not a single irrelevant sentence in the book which you might feel like skipping.

One might read the book in a couple of hours. It is written in simple language and flows effortlessly but for a change I took six days to complete it. For me, going through the book was not important, absorbing the real essence was important to implement it.

So if you can't spend enough quantity of time with your kids, concentrate on the quality. Keep aside the mobiles and laptops, tensions and problems and immerse yourself completely with your little ones. Not one day, but consistently. This is the key.

One minute super dad by Dr. Prashant Jindal

A perfect book that will fill the gap of parenting.

In this world where everything is fast paced and parents have limited time to spend with their kids , this book is definitely of great help in dealing with kids. Its not just the role of Mom's to shape the character of kids. Father too play an important role.
Book gives small and different full proof 99 points as a tip or one minute magic for dad to be a super dad in kid's life.
The precious thing you can gift kids is 'Time'

What I didn't like about the book:
I liked the book but I think there were a few tips which according to me are not possible in day to day life but then it’s all about trying.

What I liked about the book:
Simple, logical tips are covered in the book. This book is a bridge that will help to cover the gap in parenting.

I highly recommend to all the dad's out there.

One minute super dad

Cover is beautiful & it goes in accord with the story.
Title is cleverly selected & it justifies the story.
Theme relates to family, care & the responsibilities parents take to bring their young ones to adolescense. People think it's an easy task to raise kids & take it for granted. However, it ain't the case. It's much more complicated than one can comprehend.
It's a short book. Hardly took anytime to finish it.
This is a must book & I recommend this to not only the parents but also to our younger generations. As time progresses, there's a huge generation gap which is the main reason of all the problems. As more & more technologically advance gadgets are invented, more children are prone to it & thus are being destroyed by the glitters of life. However, they don't realise the essential things & the efforts made by their parents to keep them happy.
Nevertheless, language is good. Simple, easy to understand.
Narration is simple. You can easily relate to it.
A good book, recommended to all.

I have loved the way the author has clarified a lot of things in the beginning itself like requesting the reader to be open minded and reiterating the fact that not all ideas will go with someone’s current situation but most of the ideas could be related to and also the language used in the book is easier to comprehend for a person even with basic education. He has sort of subtly reviewed his book himself which is but true!!

The book suggests different approach and tricks to parenting like ‘who blinks first’ game when played with a kid can increase bonding and love and the research proven effects of listening to music on a child’s behavior and mathematics skill. There are few things we already know and there are few we don’t know but there is something about the way it has been conveyed that makes it so simple and yet effective.

The book also states that when a parent is overwhelmed or frustrated with a certain situation they can refer this book, though it would surely help, its little confusing to find out any related article in the book with index showing only main topics but not the subtopics which covers more deeper aspects of parenting and situations. The way topics are arranged causes a lot of confusion, it would have helped slightly more if the topics were arranged better. Otherwise the ideas were short and completely practical. I even tried one on my nephew on the spot and it worked!, i instantly felt a bit closer to him than before and a part of his persona was revealed. I am impressed that how few basic questions when asked to a child can be so revealing which in turn helps in figuring out a child’s mental state and can alert us of any red flags in need of timely intervention which otherwise could result in undesirable consequences if left unnoticed.

A terrific parenting book for fathers with a dash of social context and a touch of comtemporary reality.A very well researched book. The book speaks volume about how raising children is not a easy thing. When you read the chapters a lot of it is common sense but sometimes our emotions about protecting our children and full filling their weird demands and not wanting to see them struggle, clouds our thinking.I will ask my wife to read the as well. The Title and cover design compel you to go for it.The book is great resource for the fathers on the "big picture". Above all a nice , quick , motivating read.I highly recommend this book.

This non-fiction book is one of my best reads of this year. A renowned refractive eye surgeon’s new book suggests 99 one-minute methods to raise positive, confident and healthy children. I believe raising kids is a science. A child’s mind is a blank paper. So, it is important to understand this in a deeper way. Information, observations and experiences in the first 12 years of life are recorded in the subconscious mind and form a child’s personality we can influence kids in a positive way through these.

Great Advice

Short, actionable advice to young dads. Most of the content is known but needs retelling. I saved a lot of points from this book already and I'll be visiting it again several times for the message to sink in and become my behavior.

As a father of two boys, this book was very eye opening with suggestions of such simple things I should do differently than what I do now. I have read a lot of self-improvement books and this was a real keeper as these books go. I am very grateful to find a book like this and of such a high value.

So what’s in the book, well its jammed packed with all the tips and hints needed to be a better dad and more importantly he takes you by the hand so you can improve for the better. I love the way the author has gone through all the details and has explained in simple terms, so you can put them to use fast.

I especially loved the section of the book about quality time and how I could make small changes to make these times more special for my children and myself.

The book is as filled with parts called “one minute magics” these are little things that you can do in a minute to make yourself a better dad. These are great to complete after reading the previous chapter which covers similar topics, it really bring everything together for more understanding of the covered subject. There is also a very helpful section called “one minute grenades” which are things to avoid.

This is a great book that every father should read and will surely add some skills to his fathering journey.

Began reading this then put it down about halfway through. Good fathers know these things innately, so I felt like it was a rehashing of common sense. Those of us who are not "super dad" might feel more like we are failures for not being able to pull off what the author writes.

When you ask anyone do you like babies, the answer is always yes! but there is a vast difference between liking and nurturing, it takes a courage to nurture a child. Parenting is not only about a mother to care a child, but it is a responsibility of both mother and father as PARENTS= MOTHER+FATHER. Father is equally important for a child, ONE MINUTE SUPER DAD is a book which has all the super tips for today’s father how to nurture a baby. A book is written in a order with pictures which make it a more interesting read.

Language is vivid with  Coherent content.  Book has one- minute magic 99 tips, I liked the blast- off with children part along with the sweet stories of father and child(son and daughter). author has included all the jiffy moments to deal with the child, and how to be a super dad. Toddler to Teenager every stage has own changes and in this fast-paced life parents interaction is less, this book is a gem for those who are Fathers or are going to enjoy a Fatherhood.

A title is clear and crystal, a cover is decent and blurb is informative. This book is a perfect gift for the future parents and also for the present parents.

This book is so good, even non parents will enjoy it and better themselves from it. It helps you understand what is going on and gives you real life examples. It teaches you to fish instead of giving you a fish. You can then apply what you understand to all situations. It is written in a way that you can easily understand how to implement in real life.

I would recommend every parent read this book, no matter the age of your children. I really enjoyed this book. It is clear and to the point. Ideal for anyone looking to develop their children with reinforcement. You will find teachings about guiding your children onto the right path and how to truly celebrate success and welcome failure as an opportunity.
