The original Copra line-up is almost complete and ready to be reckoned with. Parades! Dimensional portals! Demolished bodegas! SFX! Colors! Ink lines! What more could you possibly want out of a comic?
Michel Fiffe is the creator of the action series COPRA, published by Bergen Street Press, and the intimately surreal Zegas, collected by Fantagraphics. He's worked with Marvel, Valiant, and BOOM! and continues to serialize COPRA when he's not writing massive essays on comics of note. Fiffe has produced Bloodstrike: Brutalists (Image Comics) and G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte (IDW) in their entirety and has recently launched a new title, Negativeland.
Some new additions join Copra - basically analogs to Count Vertigo and Deadshot - filling out the roster as the team continues to explore why they were being framed for genocide. Overall the comic has a nice pace to it with punchy dialogue and an eclectic art style, but I do wish the action and superpowers was easier to decipher. Still a ton of fun though.
