Photos by David Muench, essays and commentary by archaeologist Polly Schaafsma. A beautiful book of Rock Art on the Colorado Plateau & Rio Grande valley. I need to re-read it. 5 star book!
As always, read the publisher's introduction first. Where I see the book actually covers all the Western deserts?
Note that good used copies are available for around $6 ppd @ Amazon, and likely less at Thriftbooks.
