Rate this book
When the county medical examiner vanishes from the Florida Keys, a search of his home leads to Bodhi King. It’s been years since Bodhi’s heard from Joel Ashland, but he agrees to help the authorities look for the missing man—partly out of duty and partly out of curiosity. Bodhi's hunt propels him to Florida's sun-soaked Forgotten Coast, where he comes across the lifeless body of the missing medical examiner. His next discovery is equally chilling. Joel’d been investigating a potential death cluster. Was Joel killed to cover up the truth? And will Bodhi’s relentless quest for answers lead him to the same fate? Principled, unwavering forensic pathologist Bodhi King returns in Forgotten Path , the eighth book in the series by USA Today bestselling author Melissa F. Miller.

Another Melissa F Miller hit. The people of the town actually have more of a starring role than Bohdi. They are smart, not backwards uneducated people. They take care of each other. I’m kinda glad I’m allergic to seafood, though, after reading this one!

Yet another winner in the Bohdi King series. When Dr Joel Ashland does not show up as expected, a call is made by Detective Felicia Williams to Dr. Bohdi King about the missing coroner after she cannot find her friend. Bodhi travels to Key West to figure out what is going on. After catching up with Detective Felicia Williams he finds a clue in the missing coroner’s vehicle. He undertakes a long drive to follow up and discovers the body.
The mystery continues and is gripping.
As with most of her books, the reader learns quite a bit along the way. This time marine toxins and eutrophication are the topic.
Another must read from Melissa Miller.
Thanks to the author for the advance copy.

Bodhi is back, the memories and adventures he has given me.
To help locate his friend who was a medical examiner and curiosity
of where he is at, Bodhi is helping in the search.
What was going on in this coastal town, where Joel ran a free clinic that led to this
Great story, a story that is personal to him of his friend and he wants answers
Loved it, great plot, and a winner once again with Bodhi.

Interesting book

The subject of environmental responsibility is brought out in this book. What happens when companies don't take responsibility for their actions? To what length will they go to in order to cover it up? Bodhi gets in the middle of the situation trying to find out what happened to his friend. I thought this was a really interesting book. I always like reading about Bodhi and how he keeps his beliefs first. I hope there will be more Bodhi books.

Great read

Having lived in the South, this is a very touching story about how a doctor far from home travels to help a small poor community. Bodhi is spot on when his doctor friend is killed. Great book.

Last (so far) in this series, Bodhi takes on environmental pollution on the Forgotten FL Panhandle Coast with his usual zen. Melissa Miller is one of my favorite series authors so know she will add to this series for all of us Bodhi lovers!!
