I am reading this still and have 2 copies. It is good for intro but not necessarily as a reference. It is more of a refresher. The information is presented very clearly in easy to read format. There are some details though that are left out. Also, I found a number of typos, which were distracting. Otherwise, the price (approx. $60 on Amazon) was not bad. It is still much thinner than most other text books of this genre. I would say it is worth reading if you just want to have a quick refresher on basic concepts.
