Spend the next 40 years in prison or break her lease early? Normally she’d be able to say that this one was a no-brainer, but things have definitely changed since she was forced to move in across the hall from Danny Bradford. A lot of things…… She wanted to get through one day, just ONE day without Danny Bradford doing something to test the limits to her control, but with that damn smile of his and his habit of leaving her contemplating manslaughter, she didn’t see that happening anytime soon. He loved his family, but some days… It was too much, but that was okay, because his small neighbor living across the hallway provided him with endless hours of entertainment. Not on purpose of course, but did it really matter as long she made him smile?

”He had a game plan and he was going to stick to it. He wanted to do this right. He wanted to make sure that she forgot what an asshole he was.”

description

This story started out so very funny. Jodi and Danny had great banter and chemistry while the author placed some laugh out moments in the beginning of the story. Trevor’s hiding of Zoe’s cooking scene…

description

As I hit the halfway point things between Danny and Jodi were still hot but the jokes were starting to get repetitive. Still, the idea of going to Orlando, Florida with the whole Bradford clan had me excited to read on. I was starting to want more from these two as a couple and I was looking forward to park antics etc. but sadly those scenes never came. What I got was day upon day of them in bed hiding from the clan.

description

Once in Florida, the parks weren’t fun, the nonstop sex scenes even felt repetitive and Jodi having to take medication and losing her mind (disoriented and intoxicated)wasn't funny anymore. It was hilarious the first time Jodi had the bad reaction to medication but the idea was totally overused and overdone.

description

Overall, I love the Bradfords and this story started out crazy funny but lost a lot in the repetitiveness and lack luster ending and relationship between the two.

I'm forever a fan and this had a lot of standout moments nonetheless.

A Sneak Peek at the next Neighbor from Hell…..

The Game Plan

“Stop moving!”
“It’s burning!” she snapped back, slapping his hands when he tried to push her hands away as she frantically tried to wipe off the white glop that felt like it was burning her skin off.
“You need to take this off,” he said, sounding calm and in control when all she wanted to do was scream, again, and freak out, again, but he wouldn’t let her.
As soon as she’d started screaming about her skin being on fire, Danny had snapped into action. He’d grabbed the hose and hit her full force with a jet of ice-cold water, which may have started another round of screaming. It also made the burning sensation a lot worse. Before she could tell him that, probably because he figured it out by her screams, he’d dropped the hose, picked her up and ran with her inside, straight into his apartment and had her in his bathtub before she could put up much of an argument.
“No, don’t turn the water on!” she screamed in terror seconds before a stream of hot water hit her.
“You need to get this off,” he said, still sounding irritatingly calm as she struggled against the urge to scream as the water caused the white slime on her body to heat up again.
When he grabbed the hem of her shirt and yanked it off, she didn’t even think about fighting him since she was too busy trying not to freak out over the likelihood that the gunk from the trashcan was nuclear waste. She barely noticed when he yanked off her shoes, socks and went for her pants, but she definitely noticed when he went for her bra.
“Hey!” she gasped, slapping at the offending hand.
“That shit soaked up into the material,” he pointed out as her mind registered the burning sensation seeping beneath the bra. “It needs to come off.”
She opened her mouth to……
To….
To………
“W-what are you doing?” she managed to choke out while she watched as Danny pulled his shirt off and tossed it out of the shower as he toed off his boots. Then he bent over and pulled off his socks and threw them out of the shower. He stood up and quickly undid his pants and shoved them down, revealing a pair of tight fitting black boxer briefs that left very little to the imagination.
When he stood up and ran a hand through his wet hair, her gaze raced to follow the move, taking in the puckered pink scar and the raised straight line that ran through it on an otherwise droolworthy set of abs, up to the Marines tattoo that he had on his chest, the one that she may have found herself thinking about a time or two, and finally up to meet his gaze and immediately regretting it. He looked serious, really serious, and determined as he sent her a hard glare.
“Your skin is streaked red,” he began, taking her by surprise.
She looked down and sure enough, her body was covered in angry looking red streaks and splotches right where her skin burned and itched like crazy. Swallowing nervously, she looked back up at him and found a matching red spot on his shoulder, right where she’d nailed him with a handful of goop.
“Your underwear is coated in that shit and the longer that you keep it on, the more damage that it’s going to do to your skin,” he said, sounding completely rational, which actually frightened her. “We need to get the rest of your clothes off and try to wash the residue off your skin, now.”
As much as she wanted to argue with him, and she really wanted to argue this one, she couldn’t. With each passing second the burning and itching only got worse.
“Fine,” she said, reaching for her bra strap, “but you don’t need to be in here. I can do it myself.”
“I’m not leaving,” the stubborn bastard said as he reached down and grabbed a large bar of white soap.
“Yeah, you really are” she said, wincing when a sting accompanied her attempt to move her bra strap.
“Not happening, Tinkerbelle,” he said, gently pushing her hand aside and-
“Ow!” she cried out as he pulled her bra strap up and over her shoulder and as far down her arm as it would go. She had a similar reaction when he did the same with the other bra strap.
“Your back and legs faired the worst, Tink,” he said, startling her into looking down as he efficiently unsnapped her bra and what she saw had her swallowing hard as she tried to panic.
“Are you allergic to anything, Tink?” he asked, sounding calm as he carefully hooked his thumbs in the waistband of her panties and slowly lowered them to the floor.
“No,” she said, a small cry escaping her when his knuckles accidentally brushed up against her skin.
“Are you having any problems breathing?” he asked, tossing her panties out of the shower.
“No,” she mumbled, trying not to lose it.
“Good,” he murmured behind her as she struggled against looking back down.
Every inch of her body was covered in what appeared to be hives, large, angry looking hives that were noticeably raised. There wasn’t a spot on her body that didn’t itch or burn. Only the fear that she would make things worse was stopping her from scratching every inch of her body. The itching she could understand, but she’d never heard of hives burning the-
“I’m sorry,” Danny said, cutting through her panicked thoughts.
“For what?” she asked before a thought occurred to her and when it did, she was seeing red. “Oh my god! Those bags were yours?” she demanded, moving to turn around and kick his ass when he answered.
“No.”
“Then what are you apologizing for?” she asked, worrying her bottom lip as she snuck another peek down at herself and cringed.
“For this.”
“Wh-Ouch!” she screamed as he carefully placed his soapy hands on her back. The pain multiplied, forcing her to slap her hands against the shower wall and grit her teeth together as she thought of another way to kill the bastard.

I absolutely HATE to rate this two stars but by the time I was done I was seriously bored and just wanted it to end. The basic premise of the story, along with almost every scenario presented, could've been snatched from any of the other books in this series. How many restaurants can these folks be banned from before enough is enough? The Game Plan wasn't all bad but I won't be doing a reread anytime soon.

The Game Plan is the 5th book in the Neighbor From Hell series which, despite what the title may imply, is not PNR. All of the books in the series are so similar that you'd think I be tired of reading them by now, but I'm not! Each and every one makes me laugh, makes me sigh, and has me fanning myself....and to all that, especially this story, which has become my favorite, so far!

ETA: TGP has some unusually (for this series) poignant moments in it which, IMHO, made up for the OTT food/cousin/brother issues many readers are less than happy about in this installment.

I'm thrilled that I have #6, Double Dare already loaded and ready to read.

OK, maybe it's still a little bit funny. I really like this series but it's getting a bit boring hearing about all the Bradford's constant eating and the getting banned from buffet restaurants etc.

This book features Danny who is one of the Bradford cousins and his little librarian neighbour who he loves to torment. Jodi has an allergic reaction one day to some radioactive food (cooked by a Bradford wife) and Danny takes it upon himself to look after her in her time of need.

The story is pretty much her hating on him, him determined to woo the girl that he has realised he wants to marry and Jodi quite often requiring medicine for various ailments. Oh, did I tell you that Jodi has a strange reaction to medicine? She literally acts like she's high as a kite if she so much as takes a headache tablet and although it was quite funny the first time, it soon wore thin for me.

I did enjoy it, but there was nothing particularly exciting going on here. It could have been a lot better but it kept me occupied quite nicely for a few hours :)

Rating~ 2.5 stars

I had been waiting for this book ever since the previous book Truce was released last year. Sad to say I’m disappointed after reading this one.

Jodi is really down on her luck and is living in one of Trevor’s apartment building and her neighbor is none other than Danny Bradford. Danny can’t help but tormenting pretty and attractive neighbor. There’s just something about her that brings out the Bradford within him.

Jodi aka Tinkerbelle, lost everything because of her ex-fiance who not only dumped her before the wedding but left her in debt and resulted in her getting fired from her job. Now she’s working as a librarian. Jodi has a problem, all the guys she dates end up becoming her best friends and look at her like a little sister than a prospective girlfriend but it doesn’t really matter that much to her since after the whole fiasco with the Ex she doesn’t want to get married EVER.

Danny Bradford is a planner, from a young age he had wanted to be a doctor and a single mistake cost him almost everything. He’s an ex-Marine, he joined the Marine’s after his dreams of becoming a doctor were dashed and returned home because of his spinal injuries. Danny wants what his cousins have; a wife who loves them, children to equal adore and be terrified of.

Now Danny has decided that Tink is his, he will make her fall in love with him and he has perfect game plan for it.

The book had the usual NFH series things; usual R. L humor, quirky and a extremely good cook for a heroine. It also opposites attract and enemies to lovers trope. The couple had great chemistry, funny banter and ofcourse the book had a very dysfunctional family whose love for food shows no restraint.

Why didn’t enjoy or love this like I did the other books in the series;mainly due to all the repetition in the book for example; Jodi has a bad reaction to medicine which was funny the first time but by the third time it wasn’t amusing anymore and more of an annoyance. Jodi spends almost half of the book in her drugged up state which makes hyper and incapable of rational reasoning. Same goes with the reaction is utter horror after going out to eat with the Bradfords. I would have liked to know what exactly they did to cause that reaction in the heroines rather than reading about it again and again. Then the contradictions in the book, if it was a small thing I would have been able to get past it but it wasn’t. It was about two really important things in the books. Most of the time in books I go with the flow because it’s ‘book life’ and I read paranormal a lot, so I tend to not give much thought to what actually happens in ‘real life’ but I only go so far when it’s keeps on getting pushed on me. Danny’s father, I didn’t like him at all. He was an ass to his son and because of that he made Danny miserable. The thing is he never apologized for his behavior which pushed Danny away. He instead blamed Danny and Danny was ok being responsible for the whole thing, Danny was a child at the time. God, It really irked me especially what happened near the end of the book, it was his father’s fault again.

I think I’ll be in the minority here who didn’t love the book. Overall, this ended up being a ok read, which was funny at the start. The next book in the series will be about Darrin and Marybeth from the looks of the teaser at the end of the book. I will still read the next book since this series is one my favorite romantic comedies and I'm not giving up on it yet.

♥♥♥ 2.75 STARS ♥♥♥

I love the Bradford men, like really LOVE them all. Danny was a great Bradford as well. However, I struggled to connect with him and the heroine Jodi, a.k.a. Tinkerbelle. To be honest, I was a bit bored for most of this book. There were a few times that I did chuckle, but I did not do any "rolling on the floor laughing" like I am use to with the books in this series. I was happy to see my favourite Bradford men Jason and Trevor in this one. And I did think the steam in this book was pretty hot! But it wasn't enough to really get my complete interest in the story. The second part did get marginally better for me, but not by too much. I did enjoy this somewhat, but it was probably my least favourite of the series. After the epilogue, I am still very much looking forward to next book and keeping my fingers crossed that it will be as hilarious as the previous books have been.

3.5 Could Have Used a Better Plan Stars

This was a tough one, because the 1st half of the book was freaking awesome, like 5 stars easy peasy. The 2nd half?? Well, let's discuss.

So the Bradford saga continues on with Danny Bradford, cousin to Jason (still awesome!) and Trevor (adore you!!). Danny loves to torment his cute, little neighbor across the hall, Jodi or otherwise known as Tink. Shenanigans ensue, and this is the Bradford clan, we got some crazy ass shit going down. If you read Trevor’s book, you know Zoe’s cooking leaves much to be desired. Apparently, it packs quite a punch after its been discarded, and let me tell you I was laughing so hard I damn near tinkled myself. And then it gets better cause Jodi is a PSYCHO when she is on meds, like get this bitch a straitjacket cray.
description
Yes like the 1st 2 times, but more in a bit.

The shenanigans continue and we spend a little time with Matthew Bradford, Trevor’s 6 year old son, who can apparently balance a checkbook while manipulating food from his fellow 1st graders. The whole glitter and glue exorcism of Jodi was also hilarious, but little dude creeped me out, for realz.
description

All of this is fine and dandy, but then we get stuck in a spin cycle or something cause the same stuff is regurgitated over and over. Jodi’s psycho medicine trips tapped out at 4 I believe. And then the restaurant banning/room service banning, omg make it stop please. Or at least show us how in the hell this family can get banned from everything?

Perhaps something like this?
description
I think that would have been hilarious to see play out, but alas no, we just see the usual aftermath with ladies crying and guys bleeding.

I think that’s where this fell a bit flat for me, as the formula is the same with these books, I wanted more. I didn’t want a rehash of the same funny shit you did like 3 chapters ago. Danny and Jodi were funny and hot, and the book was hot too. The sex scenes were steamy, but even that felt repetitive towards the end. I wished there would have been some more family interaction too, there were plenty of opportunities. And the pappa drama?
description

So overall, unfortunately wasn't my fav of the series, that still belongs to Jason, but still liked it. I know it doesn't seem like I did, but I love my Bradford's and expected a bit more from the crew :-(

Ms. Mathewson can do no wrong with this series. In saying that though I tend to ignore book 3 it doesn't count. But for this one I give 4 stars.

Some jokes were the same but there were also new ones. Jodi aka Tinkerbelle has what? Yes the neigbour from hell. She has had a tough year and doesn't need grief, means avoiding Danny Bradford. That is until she comes in contact with Zoe's cooking.

Best scene was:

Jodi is ready to commit murder, she has been brought to the brink of crazy by her neighbor Danny Bradford. Danny has escalated from just annoying to full out jerk and Jodi wants out, she is ready to move. However the Bradfords own the apartment complex and seem to be insistent that she stay there.

In one moment Danny goes from just enjoying tormenting his neighbor to head on attraction. Danny knows Jodi isn't going to trust him or that she has had any reason to but he has a game plan to woo Jodi and although it doesn't go off as smoothly as he planned, Danny persists in trying to win Jodi's heart.

I was cracking up through out. Jodi is sweet and kind of the girl next door type, but when she is with Danny she is a firecracker. Danny is confident, arrogant, and at times misguided but you love him for it. Another exceptional read from R.L. Mathewson.

Another funny sexy and sometimes incredibly frustrating installment. What makes these stories work so well is that even when the characters are acting selfish, rude, arrogant and irritating.. You still CANT stop reading because you HAVE to know how they'll work it out. And also when her heroes fall. They fall HARD. Loved the family banter, fighting, EATING.. And food bans. So good.

But Danny and Jodi's story just wasn't as funny or passionate as the others I've read in this series and it was too bad...hopefully (!!) the next one's better...

I feel like I've been reading this book forever. I think I started this back in December and just now finished. Honestly I was a little bored and as funny as the obsession with food is for the Bradford's, I found that tidbit a little tiresome, boring and just plan annoying most of the time. Still love R.L. Mathewson, but for some reason I just didn't like this one as much.

I think you know what to expect if you've read any of The Neighbor from Hell series.

Full of crazy characters and situations, i enjoyed it. It was an easy read with likable characters. Not as funny as the others in the series i didn't think. And i also think it's only downfall was the fact that it felt repetitive.

I'm not sure what happened in this one, but it fell short of the rest in this amazing series by a long way.

The love-hate attraction between Danny and Jodi felt forced and the running joke of the Bradford men's overeating habit wore a bit thin with the constant repetition as did Jodi' s reaction to medication. In previous books those little running jokes have been a funny addition to the main story but in this, they kind of were the main story, so it all felt a bit too slapstick and silly.

It also seemed to me that the narrative jumped around quite a bit, it was as though parts of the narrative were missing. More than once I stopped reading to check whether I'd accidentally skipped a page.

Not my favourite in this series. I'd skip this one.

I enjoyed this, I did, I liked the hero Danny, and felt like this might pack a bit more of an emotional punch than previous books in the series, given Danny's history with his father etc.

Unfortunately it fell short.

I love the Bradford men and their issues with food, it is light-hearted, a bit silly and funny.

But in this book, it was far to over the top. I am getting a bit fed up of "incidents" being mentioned in a buffet or somewhere, but we never ever get to see what actually happens during, just the hero apologising to a traumatised heroine after the fact.

Add in the heroine's reaction to any sort of medication, and it was far too over the top.

It began to feel almost like a parody of the series. A mockery chucking in every whacky off the wall thing that had happened in the series in one book, then adding some more in for good measure.

I do wonder if the author, with this series, has got it too much into her head that the readers love the whacky funny Bradfords, and took it too far, forgetting that it is ok, to put in the emotional stuff too. The stuff that can pull at our heartstrings.

I really wanted to have more page time spent on Danny and his father, and then again on his issues toward the end of the book, but that was all sort of glossed over in favour or some sort of Benny Hill/Carry on Eating style over the top "humour". And I use humour lightly here, as it was not even funny toward the end.

Also, occasionally, there were some POV changes between Danny's brothers, or father, and it was not always obvious who's head exactly we were in,

All in, I liked the characters, love the family, but the execution of the story left a lot to be desired for me.

3.5 Stars!!

I love the Bradford men, and Danny was no exception. This book was funny but it wasn't as humorous as the prior books in the series but I was very happy to see Jason and Trevor in this one.

Jodi is down on her luck and is living in one of Trevor’s apartment buildings and her neighbor happens to be Trevor’s cousin Danny Bradford. Danny can’t help but tormenting his pretty, petite, attractive neighbor "Tinkerbell". There’s just something about her that brings out the Bradford tormentor in him.

Jodi aka Tinkerbelle, lost everything because of her ex-fiancé who not only dumped her before the wedding but left her in deep in debt, and it seems all the guys she dates tend to become her best friends and treat her like a little sister rather than a girlfriend, however; that hardly matters much since her ex fiancé left a bitter taste, and she has NO intention or getting married EVER.

There seemed to be a lot of repetition in this book with a certain problem Jodi has with medication, the first time it was really funny as was the second time but after that….not so much.

Lastly the Bradford’s eating habits are legend to all of us NFH fans however; how much longer are we going to have to wait to actually see what the hell happens at these buffets!!!! I’d like to know what exactly they do to cause their banishment from all restaurants, fast food delivery establishments and buffets, we read about it over and over but have yet to witness what leaves the other patrons and the heroines to go into extreme shock.

Over all not bad but, not as great as the prior books. That said I’m still looking forward to next book in the series and keeping my fingers crossed that it will be as hilarious as the previous books have been.

Jodi wants to kill her neighbor. Why? Well he’s a Bradford. When Jodi fails after several attempts to break her lease, it seems she’s stuck with Danny. Jodi’s struggled with relationships in her past, so when Danny starts to show signs of wanting to kiss her over tormenting her, at first she is hesitant. But Danny has a plan.

So we return to the Bradford men with a story that gives us just a little more than some of the prior stories, with Danny’s side of things – but there was something that felt just not as great as the prior stories for me. Not sure what the dynamic was that felt off, but I did love a bit of seriousness to Danny’s side to go along with the laughs that we’ve come to expect from these men.

As much as I have loved the antics of these boys, I was hoping for a little more ‘new’ stuff. The moments still had me laughing but a lot of it was old news. Although this ranked about 3.5 stars overall, it was still a fun read, dragging just a bit at times. I still love this series, but I think this might be my least favorite of the series so far.

Maybe it's because I didn't read the first four books of this series, but this story was seriously annoying. The comedy was incredibly forced, the behavior was unrealistically juvenile, the love story was completely lacking in chemistry. Just nothing to recommend this.

This is a long running series with high ratings (including this book, so I can only surmise that the earlier ones are similar), so it must be pretty successful. Beats me as to why. I'm clearly not the reader these stories were written for.

Many other readers clearly like it, though, so while I can't recommend it, I don't discourage anyone from giving it a try. But look for a sale or freebie.

Danny is the first Bradford in this series I was actually rooting for from the beginning. Most of them are such sexist jerks that I almost want the women to just walk away. Although I suppose that would defeat the love story idea. Boy gets girl, girl realizes he's a jerk and walks out. The end. Yep, that might not work.
Anyway, this book was really good. Danny is a wounded vet and Jodi is a librarian. After saving other soldiers he is sent home with shrapnel in his back. His family help him to recover. Now he wants a loving wife, home and family.
Jodi was bamboozled by her fiancé and is marriage shy, now. Lots of romance, good story.

4 cute Tinkerbell stars

A light, fluffy and sexy story with incredibly addicting and charmingly silly characters that will make you laugh out loud with their wackiness.

Jodi is broke, both literally and figuratively, after her ex-fiancée left with her penniless and heart broken. But she found a job as a librarian and an apartment she can afford because the landlord, Mr. Trevor Bradford, has offered to lower her rent as long as she can stand to live next to Danny Bradford.

After an almost fatal gunshot wound, Danny is forced to leave the marine’s and is now working for his uncle Jared Bradford. Even though he wants what his cousins have, he yearns for a family of his own, his family is worried because he’s become a recluse whose sole entertainment is to torment his cute Tinkerbelle like neighbor on a daily basis.

I love these unapologetic men that will risk anything to get the women they love, even when at first they tend to make their lives a living hell.
“Bradfords don’t have weddings. Weddings imply that some planning went into it and the bride was asked when what it really comes down to is a kidnapping, a terrified Justice of the Peace, a quick ceremony and a race across town to have the marriage consummated before the bride comes to her senses and gets the marriage annulled.”

It’s funny how Danny formulates and flounders a Game Plan to convince Jodi to fall in love with him after so much grief he’s given her.
“You are the best part of my day, Tink. You make me feel whole and happy and when I’m not with you, I’m thinking about you.”

They have great chemistry and good back and forth even when Jodi is high as a kite on meds as light as antihistamine.
“I don’t think I’d be able to fit that thing in my mouth,” she said conversationally, pursing her lips up thoughtfully as she stared between his legs.
“Tinkerbelle,” he said, sighing heavily as he rubbed his hands roughly down his face, wondering why he hadn’t begged the doctor to sedate her.
“Wow, it’s getting bigger……”
“Of course it is,”

I had forgotten how these appealing characters can be and how much they made me laugh with their outrageous behavior from the older males to the very young ones are a hoot.
“Your checkbook is unbalanced... I balanced it for you,”
She narrowed her eyes on Trevor’s youngest son as she asked, “Did you break into my computer again?”
“Yup… You’re off by sixty-two dollars. You might want to transfer some money into that account before it bounces.”
“You do realize that you’re only six, right?”

I love the Bradfords. I know these books are meant to be silly and light. But I felt there were aspects that were too repetitive and overused which made the fall a bit flat.

Non the less, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and any story that R.L. puts out.

I’ll admit that while I love the NFH series, I haven’t always had the best of luck with all the books. I had a hard time connecting with the third book but the series was redeemed with the trip to the past with book 4. I’ll also admit that I tend to forget about this series with all the other books that are out there. So this was one I wasn’t highly anticipating like other people. The release sort of snuck up on me. The advantage of this is I didn’t have the built up excitement and high expectations. That worked in my favor because while I haven’t read through the reviews yet, I have seen the ratings and this one wasn’t as well loved as some of the previous books.

But it worked for me. Granted, Danny royally pissed me off when he messed with Jodi’s food. Anyone that remembers my review of the second book in this series knows, you don’t mess with a girl’s food! Bradford or no Bradford! They don’t like it when their food is stolen so they shouldn’t steal a woman’s food! (Especially pizza but seeing as that was book two, I’ll move on…*muttering to self…Stupid Trevor*) Getting back to Danny pissing me off…the stunt he pulled with her car…not cool dude. So not cool.

One of the things I loved most was Danny’s nickname for Jodi…Tinkerbell aka Tink. Lol, I’m not typically one for nicknames, but I loved that name and it suited her perfectly! It got to the point that I couldn’t even remember her name and just thought of her as Tink.

My one issue actually came with the Bradford family. Don’t get me wrong, I love that family. My biggest complaint for book 3 was that I didn’t get the connection and there wasn’t much of the characters we’d already come to know and love. But in this case, there was almost too much togetherness. I really didn’t mind Trevor and Jason. Trevor especially since he and his wife own the apartment building Danny and Jodi live in. And Jason just because I love him. I didn’t even mind the occasional visit from Danny’s brother Adrian. Especially since he’s a doctor and lord knows poor Jodi was in constant need of a doctor. But the family trip was too much for me. Add in the fact that apparently Jodi witnessed not one, but two buffet sessions with the whole Bradford family and it was just too much. Mostly because they tend to blur together since all of them say bastard every other word. (for the record, I don’t have a problem with that but when you have 20 guys all sounding the same, it become too much to keep straight).

Speaking of those buffet sessions…they were hinted at in book two, but Zoe was in the bathroom when it happened so she missed it all. Jodi saw everything and it left her in the fetal position under a table. So…I would really like to know exactly what went down to leave her so traumatized. 5 books in and we’ve never seen it. I want to see the horror. Because it has to be bad to make people cry and curl up under a table.

Other than that, I did enjoy this edition of the Bradford family and can’t wait to read more. :)

This unfortunately was my least favorite Neighbor from Hell book.
It had some very funny moments, but the story all together felt forced with no direction.
Some of the moments were like, wtf? did I just read that? They are both idiots! (my thoughts)
Danny has this great game plan where he wants his neighbor to fall in love with him and he will give it ten years or so before he starts returning the feelings. Like who does that? That is the dumbest plan I have read! The banning of restaurants and places wasn't as bad as the last couple of books but still it was a whole lot of eating, nosy relatives, and more eating.
I hope it's the last of the neighbor from hell series since I can't see myself reading another story about 6 packed men that can out-eat a town and still maintain their looks and bodies, not very realistic.
