Death Is Just The Beginning

Rate this book
It happened slowly at first, starting in the countryside among the wildlife and farm stock. A mysterious virus that ravaged communities and spread faster than the most virulent disease.

By the time it hit the cities it was too late to stop it, not even the nuclear strikes against infected towns could wipe it out.

George was infected, he had most of his girlfriend in his digestive tract to prove it. But he also was not like the others - could he actually stay sane long enough to find a cure?

Part One in the Infectious series, Death Is Just The Beginning explores what would really happen if the apocalypse came to town.

If I would have known this was not a stand-alone story, I wouldn't have wasted time on it. It read like it was a sample of a book I downloaded, just ending abruptly.

This was a short read. It is the first 4 chapters of a still-being-written episodic Zombie series.
The main character is an intelligent zombie who "other than his desire to kill and eat humans" is a pretty normal guy.
I found the story idea interesting enough to follow for at least one more segment.
I recommend this book to lovers of (Episodic) Zombie Series.
