This is the first installment of the Zombie Fighter Jango series, where we meet Jango as the zombie outbreak first begins.
At times Jango is a bit brash, debatably insane, with a slightly-off sense of humor. Yet these elements combine to make a rich and complex main character.
The pace of the story is steady, with plenty of zombie killing as the plot begins to unfold.
I find this to be a fun read and will continue to read on to the next installment.
Due to some of the violence in this story (and other adult content found in the next installment) I would not recommend this title (series) to young readers.
Otherwise readers of Zombie Apocalypse, and Horror will likely enjoy this title (series).
