She had only seen him twice before, but he visited her in her fantasies. Strong, powerful, self-assured and supremely masculine, he was everything she could possibly want in a man. Every woman on her floor dreamed of being with him.
But why would he want Pam? Of all the women he could choose in New York City she was surely the last. He was rich, handsome and powerful. She was nobody. She was nothing...
... Until He Noticed Her...
In this steamy tale of lust at the top of the Manhattan business world we join Pam, a typical young woman unsatisfied with her lot in life, as she finds herself tumbling head over heels into a torrid, taboo-breaking love affair with the dominant, sexy and mysterious Robert Foster.
At His Command is the steamy opening story to the Dominated by the Billionaire series. The alluring sequel On His Orders is available to buy on Amazon right now.
The Dominated by the Billionaire series is designed for readers hungry for more after reading E L Grey's groundbreaking 50 Shades of Grey. Within these pages you'll find tales of typical women taken on a wild ride by strong, confident men who always get what they want.
Aya Fukunishi is a Japanese British author of erotic short stories. She lives in the crackling heart of Bangkok, Thailand, with her partner and spends her evenings with the bar girls and ladyboys of this smutty, XXX-rated city.
Aya shot to fame with the release of the internationally bestselling Dominated by the Billionaire series. She's also infamous for riding the length of the Bangkok subway while sitting on a vibrator (though let's keep that between us).
Ok, so the sex was hot. For sure. But the whole before the sex and after the sex part were not so great. Normally with a quickie I wouldn't be bothered but I know the story continues over several serials. So the main man's disregard for the female was a little off-putting.
Mr. Foster was very aloof and to be honest, kind of a dick. Not sure I'd want to see him again. But Pamela seemed pretty taken with him so, we'll see. She explores her inner submissive in this book and I'm interested to see where this goes and if Mr. Foster becomes less of a dick.
I have problems with this book that go beyond the way they were broken up. It reads as a serial, which is fine, but I would not pay that much money for two chapters. While I don't like the price point of each of the following books (I snagged this one during a free promotion), that isn't the reason for the rating. It's the author's choice to price as they see fit and I don't believe in rating a book on how well I like or dislike the author's actions. So the reason for my review? Well, here we go... My issue is with believability. Yes, I'm aware that this is fiction, but I have a problem with a character who says she's looking to get to the top one day, but knows nothing about the people who run the company. A driven individual knows who's who (on sight, on paper, you name it) in the business they seek to rise in. Hell, gold diggers do more research than this woman did for a job she claimed she really wanted. Pam constantly degraded herself. Her clothes, perfume, etc were a series of cheap, drab blaaah that even I wanted nothing to do with. If this was a characterization trick meant to make me relate to her then it didn't work. I disliked her more and more every time she downgraded herself and put him on the "OMG" pedestal. I can't deal with a female who thinks anything like this: "...this man was far above her as she was above a dog in the street". Seriously? No. Then there is the sex...Once it gets past the initial bumps was it hot? Yes, but... Frankly, I don't want to be dominated by Robert and Pam leaves a lot to be desired. Some tweaking may make this less abrasive to my senses, because my gut reaction included bullet lists of reasons that I had problems with this story. Who knows, maybe the next one is better. If anything, Fukunishi nailed the cliffhanger ending for those willing to pay for the next book.
Cant ever get into degradation, and this one is chock full of it. You lost me just a page or two in when the girl thought of herself as a dog and basically a lowly unworthy piece of nothing. Then the guy basically brutally rapes, humiliates and threatens her. Cant do it. I can be into kink and domination and even some rough play with questionable consent, but cant deal with her debasing herself and a complete lack of consent (and the author/character actually dismissing the fact) . It got two stars because the writing and erotica is well done if you werent turned off by what was happening .
The author has great potential for novels in stead of just short stories with characters that continue their story from one short story to another short story. This review also covers Dominated by the Billionaire, #2 as well.
Although the author has great writing style and plot, the story loses great potential by being split up into several books. Not only is that tactic used way too many times with the newer authors but she charges too much for the following short stories. Seriously $3 for each following part, yeah not happening. If the author combined all short stories into one novel then I would pay to finish the story. OK do you see what the negative factor is with this series?
Now onto the review of the story itself. At His Command (Dominated by the Billionaire, #1)
The short story was well thought out, sexy and hot hot hot. Robert the billionaire knows what he wants and goes for it. Pam is unsure of herself and once she is in the presence of Robert in the executive elevator, which she shouldn't be on, she finds herself all hot and bothered, Robert takes care of that in a heart beat when the elevator stops suddenly. They have sex and he's all domineering, elevator works again and then he's gone.
On His Orders (Dominated by the Billionaire, #2)
Once again this short story was thought out but ended up being nothing but a tease for book number 3. It's been three days since the incident in the elevator and Pam hopes that she didn't lose her job. When she shows up to work there is an envelope on her desk causing her to freak out and hope it's not her pink slip. Once she rounds up the courage to open the envelope she is surprised by what's inside and goes on her way to the required destination. Pam is even more surprised by what is awaiting her at the destination. She does what she was requested of and then is sent on her way back to work.....then bam end of story.
Ok. Sooooo I find soo many things wrong with this. 1. This girl has ZERO self esteem. But not only that but from the way it reads she has none because of her class in society. To this female character of she does not have money then she is nothing. And not only that but she talks down about her own style. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get decent looking clothes and to this girl you do. 2. This man sexually assaulted her on an elevator and she allowed it. The man "walked up behind her and bent her over awkwardly" with out speaking a word to her. And then when she finally tells him he was hurting her he told her to be quiet?!? Hello this isn't a dom/sub this is a raper/victim. 3. He then after fucking her, and FORCING her to suck him off demands for her to get herself off or she'll be without a job, because oh yeah this is a executive of the company she works for. I'm sorry but no. Thank god this book (tech only 1 chapter)was a free one because I would have been pissed if I paid for that. That's all I'm saying.
Not exactly what I expected, but it's interesting and it's hot. It's about a girl named Pam who works in a low paying job. At the end of one exceptionally long Friday, as she's leaving work, she sees the express elevator to the executive offices going down. Despite knowing it can get her fired, she presses the button for that elevator.
When the doors open, the top executive of the company is inside. The elevator breaks down. Not much is said between them, but there are some steamy, hot scenes that follow and you'll be shocked what happens between level 3 and the ground floor.
Also included is chapter one from the next book in the series.
Can be read as a stand alone, but you will be left wanting more.
I definitely want to read more works by this author!
Would I suggest this book? YES Would I reread it/have a book hangover? YES.
No. Just no. I'm all for a sexy story, but this totally made me cringe. I didn't find Robert Foster desirable at all. In fact, I hated him. There's only a handful of words shared between the two characters and all of them prove he's a dick. That's not sexy. At all.
Oh, and Pam? Give me strength! I wanted to slap her.
"Pam knew this man was as far above her as she was above a dog in the street. There was no way he could possibly be attracted to a woman like her with her dowdy clothes, her plain face and her dull personality. Someone like her could never be with a man like him. She didn't deserve it."
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!
This may be a short story, but it sure made me super stabby.
Absolutely a wet dream of a fantasy. All BDSM rules aside, you know, because there’s no mention of consent or a safeword, and it’s truly an enthralling start to a serialized book with a dom/sub relationship in the works for Pam and Robert Foster, the big bad billionaire dom. Yes, it ends in a cliffhanger. But definitely a juicy carrot to dangle in front of us to run for the other installments, and I’m anticipating more titillation as we read more delicious sexcapades with these two. Clocking in at 27 pages, each installment at a steep $2.99, readers might want to borrow it through kindle unlimited. That way, you can read all of Aya’s titles.
I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.
The heroine is so so stupid. I mean I know this is some kind of fantasy but dude, she just let him do whatever to her! And the hero came off as creepy and crazy instead of alpha male and dominating for me! He may be hot but it's such a turn off to know he would attack any girl for sex at his convenience... I gotta admit though, the sex scene was hot

Great quick read, the mousy office worked gets trapped on an elevator. He's hot, starred in her fantasies for awhile now. Without spoiling the story, he takes control in the elevator in true Dominant fashion, threatening her job if she doesn't comply.
Fast Work. I really like the idea behind this story, and I knew I was getting a short story, but really? Two minutes in an elevator without any other contact, talking, etc and both the characters are getting hot and heavy? No thanks. I still have some morals when reading my erotica.
I like more more more about this one that was my favorite is it just seems that I am a big believer the other side to be able and I am in bed watching a film and I am so you know if we were just going through my mind and the heart is that you have a lot to say
What a great book to read but I don't have any thing to say about this book I don't send comment because I don't have a nothing to say I am not to good on writer about this sorry.
Starts out pretty good and gets a little hot but keeps you reading you can tell what he is but you want to know how long and what he and she will get before she walks guess I need to keep reading
Yet another cash cow series. I'm sick of these very short reads where the only thing that seems to add up is the writer's bank account. A book, and I use the term loosely, of 20 to 50 pages appears to be the norm these days. Truly sad. Like this story
Hot story, well-written with well painted characters. Not overwhelming with details, not yet another billionair copy-and-paste story. I like the spin in the action. Can't wait to read more.
This was supposed to be a hot short stir, when all reality it was basically a quickie between strangers. I have to admit I was hoping for more. It is not what I wanted.
